  2. Welcome to Vapor Talk. Glad to hear you are enjoying vaping.
  3. Tam is right. When it comes to smoking it really does vary from city or county. The Republic of Boulder is the toughest in the state on cigarette smoking, and probably was the leader in defining most of those laws. I grew up in Boulder, so I can bash them all I want to. But as for this new "special" law, guessing Spydre and Bcarter are referring to, again will be different from city to city. Banned in one place but allowed in others. Boulder probably being the most liberal on it. I don't really follow this shit anymore and could really care less. Live and be free, just be responsible for your actions. If you guys reference this new ordinance in Colorado or Oregon one more time, I will ban your ass. Even if you reply to someone. I am sick of this and it does not belong here. Even as a joke. We have this rule for a reason.
  4. Knock it off! All of you are walking a fine line right now with my sober patience! Vaporraper cannot change his name! Give it a rest already! Only the big man in charge can! We normally don't do it because it is a PAIN IN THE ASS!
  5. Love this! Saw them in concert. It was a treat and great show!
  6. Merry Christmas to all VT members and their families. May you have a safe and joyous holiday!
  7. Go! Go! Almost there! Congratulations on the 8 months. With so many one year anniversaries coming up in April, we might just have to throw a party.
  8. Well no wonder you are having such a problem with throat burn. Long term smokers usually don't complain about this. In fact most of us are trying to match that throat burn from years of smoking. It really sounds like you are a casual user even with the hookah. So my advice is to cut back on your nic and find a liquid with higher VG content and stay on the lower end of the voltage until you find your sweet spot.
  9. Were you a smoker before you started using ecigs? If so, how much did you smoke and what brand?
  10. This will be short lived, but so welcomed. Heard on the news that we are going to have freezing weather again by Christmas. I take it you will still be in NOLA? My family is coming from NZ to visit, it is summer there right now, fools I say! lol There is a bit of confusion when it comes to Colorado winters. We do not live in constant snow! The snow is in the mountains. Us prairie dwellers enjoy very mild winters. We have nice mild temps and sunshine! We do get the occasional snow fall and sub-zero temps. Usually when it snows it melts within a day. The weather has become more mild over the years. We haven't met our yearly snow pack, in the mountains, for a few years. We depend on the snow pack for our water during the summer. The big rains we had in the early fall were not normal.
  11. I thought it might be one of those numbers. But was unsure. The first 2 numbers would fit month and day, but the last number is a 0. Will assume they leave off the year. Thanks for pointing that out.
  12. Just looked at the bottles I have. No "born on date." It does have the bottle and lot numbers listed.
  13. My brother took advantage of the arctic weather we just got hit with. He built an ice rink on his property. He is a hockey player. Hopefully it will stay frozen for awhile. Knowing Colorado, it will probably be in the 70's next week. lol Looks like I might some ice time in during the holiday! This was his first attempt ever building a rink.
  14. I don't think I have ever had to steep anything. The EC blends that I have bought never needed steeping. Of course I didn't order them from their site, picked them up at a B&M. So the steeping time could have happened during shipping and sitting on the shelf. Hard to say though, the turn over on their stock is pretty quick in that store. I have to laugh a little about the whole steeping thing. But I wouldn't toss a bad tasting juice before giving it a go. Could save a juice from going in the garbage.
  15. I actually had a bunch of those and used them for quite awhile. But then I started using cartomizers and my interest faded along with direct dripping.
  16. What was that atomizer? The 306? It had the 510 connection but had that same cartridge top. I can't remember who the modder was, but he came up with a drip tip for those. I think they called it the cannon. I still have one of those drip tips somewhere.
  17. I started playing sports when I was about 8 years old. Wanted to play soccer but my father thought I would get hurt. So I signed up for gymnastics. Broke both my wrists at the same time. After that I was allowed to play any sport. lol Started playing competitive fast pitch in junior high. Started out as a pitcher, but when the coaches realized I was going to be short, they put me behind the plate. There I sat for next few years. Played varsity for 3 years plus the summer competitive league. Didn't really leave much time for any other sport. When we weren't playing I was in the gym with the pitchers for training during the winter. Tore my rotator cuff my senior year. Never healed properly. So my career as a catcher was over. Moved to first base. Played a bit in college. Didn't really pick it back up until mid 20's. Ended up in the slow pitch leagues. Played about 5 nights a week. That was my social life. Beer, smoking and hanging around the ball field. What I did notice is that my running speed was gone from smoking. Always kept an inhaler in my bag. Have to say it sucked. Thank god I was a good hitter and could hit the ball far enough that I didn't have to sprint it out. I also played a bit of roller hockey, good god, the back and forth just about killed me. I haven't played in a couple years, it became too expensive and I was unemployed for quite awhile. But now that I am vaping I find my lung capacity to be much better and my speed returning. I can run sprints much better and roller blading has become more enjoyable. My dog, may she rest in peace, would beg to differ about the enjoyment of roller blades.
  18. Three cheers for the 901 atty!
  19. It was a tough week for the VT staff also. He wanted to ban everyone! We had to take away his ban hammer until he went back on the nic.
  20. The guys made some good points about heat and humidity. I live in a state that is pretty dry year round, so the humidity level never really crossed my mind. The small things you take for granted. lol
  21. Keep it away from the blowing heat vent. It will stay too warm and what you are describing will happen. I learned this by frustration and experience. When the heat is on in my car, I set it down in the cup holder or on the dash. My steering wheel happens to be close to the heat vents.
  22. It takes longer than 2 hours for your body to rid itself of nicotine. After smoking a cigarette the body metabolizes the nicotine into continine. Continine is the bio-marker that is measured in blood and urine tests. Nicotine (continine) can remain in the body for a few days or up to several months. This is dependent on the frequency, duration and quantity of how much one person smoked.
  23. I would be cautious about rinsing out atomizers. It doesn't always work and I have a lost a few. Let the atomizer dry well before trying to add other drops. Dry burning will also shorten the life.
