No branch or service for me. My father, brother and a few other members of my extended family have served. So I have respect for you all.

As a vapor that has been around for awhile, I don't argue with private establishments about their no smoking/no vaping policy. I also don't get my panties in a bunch about it. It is what it is. I can vape in my house, car, outside, with friends and in some public places. If I have to go to the smoking area, I welcome it. I am with people who don't give shit and have been shunned to ends of the earth. Nothing new to me. If I go to a private establishment and they ask me not to vape, I accept it. This is the unwritten rule amongst veteran vapers. Sure this makes us mad and we feel we are being treated unfairly because the information they have is not accurate. We educate and hope that they look further into the matter. Some establishments have no choice, laws have been passed that lump vaping with no smoking laws. Vaping does not fall under the category of freedom in regards to religion, color and the broad category of sex. Although I can see vaping becoming a new religion. Private establishments have the right to ban whatever they want, as long as it doesn't infringe on the above. So the courts have said lately to private businesses and in the past. I don't care how whacked out (my word) the establishment is and whether or not I gave them $20, if vaping is not allowed I don't argue it. I just become smarter. I stealth vape, use the restroom, find an inconspicuous area, or I just don't patronize them again. I also have complete control of my vaping habits. Even if it interferes with other pleasures/obligations I am seeking at the moment. I can go easily 8+ hours without a vape. Now I want to address some other comments you have made in regards to your post. This forum does not condone or appreciate the mention of physical pain or harm done unto others. We don't care if it is a lifestyle choice, it is not appropriate for this forum and the contents we are discussing. For most people, that join this forum, this is not what they signed up for. I get the comparison to what you are trying to convey, but even BDSM people have a safe word. Obviously vaping is one of them.

I have run across this lately. I have a dark e-liquid from a local store and it seems to be gunking up my stuff. Although I am not completely sure it is the the dark color causing the problem. This liquid has a higher VG content than what I usually vape. I know from previous (long ago) threads that a higher VG level will gunk/clog faster.

I do have a question?! I understand the policies about having passengers, it makes sense. But can you take a dog/pet with you? I can see where having a dog might be a problem with potty breaks etc, but I thought it would make a great companion and a little added security. Do you have concerns about security on the road? Do you carry or have some type personal protection? I know laws vary from state to state and this could be an issue while traveling.

Welcome back! I was just thinking about you the other day, your ears must have been burning. The last mod I bought was the Joker. I broke it. I never was able to afford the Provari. I did hear really good things about the Darwin, not sure if that is still popular or available. That was the mod that had the built in battery, rectangular, flat and was strictly watts. I have been using the smaller Itaste batteries. They are really nice. But don't compare to the Provari.

When I was about 12 y.o. I got a ride in a big rig. A friend of the family was a driver and had his truck at home. He demonstrated how it started up, unlocking the trailer brakes and then took us out around the neighborhood. We had a big loop in our development about 2 miles long. It was fun and I got to brag to the other neighborhood kids. This was during the whole truck craze thing in the 70's that you all were chatting about. I did get to drive a one of those local hauling trucks a couple times. We used it to move merchandise from a warehouse to the University during football games. It was an experience trying to navigate a large truck around drunk students and packed parking lots. My dad had a CB installed in our van when I was growing up. It was fun on long trips to listen to the chatter. I did talk to a few truckers and a group of people traveling to a Corvette convention while we were out traveling ourselves. I have to agree with Tam, everyone should spend a some time in a large truck. I also want to add motorcycles to that list. Having done both has made me a better driver.

Vapor Talk has their own line and they also carry Pink Spot. Both lines are very tasty. http://www.vaportalkstore.com/Default.asp

When the battery is completely drained the button light will flash. There is no indicator for when it is getting low. You just have to rely on vaping experience. The vapor production will decrease and flavor might begin to diminish. I have an eGo twist and a couple Itaste batteries. The Itaste has the indicator lights when battery power is getting low. But I don't rely on them. I can usually tell before the lights even start to change color. The longer you vape the more you will pick up on the signals that the battery is needing a re-charge.

Hissing and Pops - projectiles?
BirdDog replied to Broknhead's topic in Troubleshooting & Technical Issues
Need more information. The itaste VV is the battery. The battery is not what is causing your problem. What tank, cleormizer, atomizer or cartomizer are you using? -
It has been around since I made the switch. Don't know how it started or who started it. I have been vaping for over 4 years. It was a term we used to distinguish a cigarette from the electronic version. Used as an adjective to contrast with digital. Think of a clock that uses hands to tell time vs. and digital displayed numbers.

I wish you the best of luck. Let us know if you find a replacement. I can't even begin to explain how many bottles of vanilla flavors I tried out, finally just came to conclusion that vanilla wasn't going to work. My expectations were too high for that particular flavor. I wanted something that tasted like vanilla flavored foods, not like the smell of vanilla candles or soaps. Funny how that works, considering smell and taste are so linked together.

You sir are the Vintage Vaping Gear Stash Consultant! Here is something a bit scary that I have, 901 cartomizers. I bought these on a whim. I could never get them to work right. I think the stuffing was too tight or something. Which led to burned flavor and very dry hits. I never tried the cartos with the tanks. The hole punching just seemed too much for me. Then someone got smart and started selling the pre-punched. Might give this a go. There are a few tanks out there now that are quite inexpensive to try out. I think my local vape shop sells some plastic version. A box of Boge cartos are pretty cheap and at least worth it to keep in your back up stash box. I could come up with several reasons to have these on hand. Bad tank days, traveling, camping and they work great on the small eGo batteries. Especially if you need something small and discreet for a day. I have used both the standard and low res versions.

Thanks for the list. Wow! You have some really old stuff. I am amazed that you have a 401. What a flash back! Makes think of that company that had the Dragons screened on the batteries. The 401 is a KR808? I am pretty sure I don't even have an adapter for those. Or is the KR808 equal to the 901? I can't remember. lol

I don't want to be a downer, but when I first started, I searched and searched for a vanilla flavor. I have no idea what type of vanilla flavor I was trying to match. Ice cream? Custard? I finally gave up, it just wasn't going to happen. I guess what I am trying to say, don't get too discouraged if you don't find that vanilla flavor to replace the cartridges. Flavor is so subjective to each person. Try other flavors in your search for vanilla, you might find something else more satisfying.

I am a veteran of vaping. I started out with 510, 901's and the good old 801 atomizer. It has been so long since I used any of these, I might need a refresher course on how to direct drip. Then I moved on to the 510 cartomizer. It revolutionized my world. Several months ago I was gifted an Evod and Protank. It was exciting, I liked it and jumped on the band wagon. I bought a few extra Evod tanks to fill out my inventory. It seems lately, I have been going through coils every few days. Leaking, gurgling and the flavor has been lacking. A bad batch of coils maybe? Who knows. I opened my stash box and noticed that I had a few boxes of Boge cartos. I decided to give one of these old things a go. It has been a few days and can't figure out why I ever gave them up. No leaking, no gurgling and flavor has been consistent. I can top it off without having a paper towel or removing it from the battery. The only complaint is having to top/fill it more frequently than the tanks. But much easier, quicker and nice. AND THE DRIP TIPS! How I missed them! My plan is to go old school and put the tanks in the backup rotation for awhile. Take a break. I am going to purchase a few 510's for dripping and add a box of cartos. I would really like to add the 801 and 901 back to the rotation also. But this could take some research and a crap shoot to find a supplier that still stocks and sells them.

Colorado plans for new legislation, raises the legal age to 21...
BirdDog replied to Aquatroy's topic in General Vape News
http://denver.cbslocal.com/2014/02/05/age-to-buy-cigarettes-could-soon-change-in-colorado/ I agree with you about raising the age limit. It isn't a cure but a good start. -
I don't have any problems with Chrome or Firefox. But Opera has been taking forever to load and the icon keeps spinning. I am pretty sure it is an Opera issue on my end. The last few updates for Mac don't seem to work well.

The Super Bowl that wasn't...super

It was a hard game to watch. They brought the bodies but left the brains back in Denver. The whole team looked confused out there. Seattle played a good game and deserved the win. There is no doubt about it. -

Highly unlikely to test positive. But if you are that concerned about it, I wouldn't tempt fate. The food grade products state it is safe and won't test. However, in regards to wicking (textile) I don't know if the same applies. You should google Hemp and read up on the differences between the two plants and form your own decision. I am trying to give you an answer without breaking the no Drug Talk policy. This conversation falls in the "grey area" of the No Drug Talk rule. *Hint to those wanting to expand on an answer to the question.
