Bump when you get something in vape mail.

Package from the Vapor Talk Store! Coils, Pink Spot and VT liquids! A good way to start the weekend! -
To be honest I don't remember. That is how long I have been a member and admin on this forum. I think it might be 10 and maybe a bit less for new members. We really don't have any rules when it comes to posting. No drug talk, personal threats and spamming are the only rules we enforce. The veterans of the forum are really passionate about safety.

Sorry about the "like" quota. We had to install a limit, awhile back, because of abuse. We used to have a reputation feature, like or dislike, a few members came in and spent a few hours hours marking up threads. When some upgrades were made, the limit kind of became stuck.

Derailing a thread is what we do best. I would like to come down and visit the shop one of these days.

I was bad and had to work. Sorry. I am sad to have missed all the fun. It appears everyone in my department wanted the weekend off. So we all were denied.

Welcome to the forum. Glad to meet another person from Colorado.

Hana Modz Protects Its Trademark
BirdDog replied to charliestheman's topic in General Vaping Discussion
When I started vaping, a very long time ago, there was a company called Janty. Mostly a European based company but also had American ties. Janty revolutionized the vaping scene at the time. They were the ones that worked closely with Joye to develop the eGo battery and a few other batteries (Janty stick, 801 connection?). Janty had full rights to the eGo and was the only seller for quite a few months before the kits started showing up at other suppliers. Then came the clones to the eGo, like the Riva. Cloning is nothing new in the vaping world. Drip tips, tanks and tube mods were all ripped off from American designers. There were debates left and right about the whole subject. There were also a few patent disputes, at one time, in regard to variable voltage mods or something along those lines. I don't think anything ever came of it. But I understand what Hana Modz is doing with this case. Their trademark logo is being used to sell the clone. They can't go after China directly, so why not hit the supplier. A brilliant idea to trickle down to the manufacturer. -

Since the dawn of vaping, juice suppliers have been sent letters and threatened to be sued in regards to trademark infringement. This included images and names. Most comply, not worth going head to head with a large corporation in court. -

I don't find this funny either. The description is in very poor taste. How does a description of helpless children being stabbed equate to a great tasting flavor?

Anyone know any home remedies for pimples?
BirdDog replied to Roxabox's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
It is not a cure all and I do have to still use lotion. My brother-in-law used to work for Johnson & Johnson in the UK. When they would visit, they would bring bags of stuff from the company. There was an Aveeno body oil wash and it was awesome. Made the shower a bit slippery but worked great! I have yet to find it in America and looking at their site, it might be discontinued. This may sound really weird, but I use hair conditioner and a loofa (or those plastic coil things) on my legs. It really works well. I came to this conclusion because of my hair. I have curly hair and I don't use shampoo. I scrub my head with conditioner only. It really helps keeping it in check and the frizz. So I thought why not use conditioner on my really dry parts. It really does work. I do use shampoo about once a month when my hair feels really icky. -

Walmart. A 3 pack of bars for about $4, my mom usually picks it up for me. It has coconut oil in it. So nice for our dry climate. http://www.kirksnatural.com/about-kirks-natural/ I just want to add that it is not greasy. Rinses very well without that added residue. -

I am guessing that the deep clean scrub you are using is abrasive. It will just irritate more. You should only use am exfoliating scrub a couple times a week on your face. If the pimple is sore and irritating I am guessing that hormones are playing a pretty role with this one and it might be best to ride it out. Pop it if you must, I would. lol As a daily face wash, I use Kirk's Original Coco Castille soap. My grandmother used it. I ignored her recommendation many years ago. I paid for it. I started using it about a year ago and my face and body has been very happy. No weird breakouts anymore. As for the on the spot treatment a crushed up aspirin mixed with a bit water helps as well. -
Thanks for asking before posting. I did remove the second post. Can you explain further why you are collecting this data? We are in the midst of a battle with FDA. They would like to regulate our industry. The members might be a bit reluctant to participate if this could come back and hurt us in our fight. This is a link to our group, the leader, in our fight with the FDA. There might even be some information there that might help with your research. http://casaa.org/

You really need to shut up now. You are are breaking forum rules by mentioning illegal drugs. One more comparison of vaping and illegal substances and you will be banned.

Instead of chasing a little white ball, you chase a frisbee. -
It has been suggested the coils that come with the tanks are faulty and don't work well. Why? Who knows.

Vaporizer stands/organizers - Not for sale
BirdDog replied to mvince201's topic in General Vaping Discussion
He wasn't selling his wares in your thread, he was sharing his work with you. If you poke through the forum, you will see a lot of threads getting derailed. Some of our members have a bad habit of derailing threads. Keeps it interesting. Apparently moving this into the classifieds has become a conflict. Moving it to the General Discussion. Now it is a discussion and not a classified. Oh and I am locking this. Mark will be able to reply if he would like. -

I have known Mark for a very long time and he has been a member of the vast vaping community for just as long. I can guarantee that he was not trying to push you out or insult your design. Mark has a passion for what he creates and enjoys sharing it with others that are like minded. Mark has given back to the vaping community more than any other person I have known. His creations and gifts are coveted by the whole community. You took quite a beating by some of the forum members and you stuck it out. The members around here can get pretty protective of their veteran vaping friends. Hang around, get to know the rest of the community. We are pretty friendly and don't be afraid to share some of your other designs. PLAY NICE! It is done, you all had your say and the OP apologized. -
