Don't worry. You sound like the rest of us when we got started vaping. In a week or two you'll be a pro at it with the help of the forum. Hang in there, it's worth it to quit the cancer sticks. I've been a non smoker for 2 months now and it feels great.

I wanted to quit for years. I tried but failed. One day I stopped by the local liquor store to get a lotto ticket and they had the cartomizer e-cig with an info pamphlet. I looked it over and research the company online. The next week I bought the kit. It was good and I didn't know there where better one's out there. I bought it on 8-4-09 and 8-7-09 was my last analog cig and I haven't looked back. Thank you China

I had one of those passthrough's for the 510 and I did not like it. So I took it apart and used the battery threads for a mod I made. Then I found the problem. The wires were stripped back to far and were shorting out. It might have worked fine but now it's to late. You are able to use it not plugged into the usb via the inline battery and it does charge that battery while plugged into the usb port. If you get one, buy it for a store in the states so you won't have a problem returning it. I bought mine from overseas but it was less than $9.00. Returning items to China is a "duck". ................................^^^Chris, I did use the word duck, not he other word for a girl puppy.....lol

Everclear is a common cutting fluid. I crush 1 part Menthol crystals to 2 parts everclear and shake it up. Makes a great Menthol flavoring. I mix some of Arno's 36mg Menthol and VG (50/50) and like 8-10 drops of my homemade Menthol flavoring and YUM!!!!!! Now I get twice as much juice at 18mg(and about 50 proof...jk)and Awesome vapor production. I also put my juice in 3ml bottles and I like to add 2 drops of my Menthol flavoring. You can barely taste it but you can feel it. If you haven't figured it out by now I used to smoke Menthol cigarettes. It's been 2 month's today that I had my last analog and I don't miss them at all. SUK IT!!!! Phillip Morris!!! I used to use Everclear for cleaning my atty's but now I just boil some water and put the atty's in the hot water and let them set for and hour or so. The method was recommended by Sean and Chris. Less expensive than using Everclear.

I concur, Arno's RY-4 is Awesome. I tried RY-4 and Apple when I first started vaping and didn't like it then. I now love the RY-4. I haven't ordered Apple again but I bet I'll get the same result. I also have some 555 from Arno. It's good but I got Lorann's Butterscotch flavoring and added a few drops to a 3ml bottle and Yum!!!!

Don't miss the smell at all and neither does my wife(lifelong non-smoker). Like Chris, it's quite gross now. Especially a smoker who's a "close talker". Here's a Tic Tac buddy.

I did yesterday. I went to the DMV (last day to get my license plate sticker) and 2 guys were standing outside. I was vaping as I walked up and they asked me for a "light". I smiled and said "sorry I don't anymore". They looked at me in confusion then I explained what I was "smoking". It's amazing how many questions they had for me. Of course I always recommend vaportalk.com and awesomevapor.com. I hope one day I am standing outside the DMV asking someone for a charged battery or a spare atty...lol Chris, I hope you start to see more members for the Chicagoland area.

bzeisman, What type of mint of you using? I have Menthol Crystals but I can't seem to get the same flavor as awesomevapor or vaporkinks menthol juice.

I guess this means your changing poopy diapers. I have a 3 month old and it can get quite messy. Just remember, if the diaper fits snug, there's no room for it to go but out.....Yuk!!!!!

RY4 has a hint of caramel flavor which is pretty good. Buy a 5 pack of empty carts. They're pretty cheap. The filler is NOT cotton. It is 100% polyester. You can use Fulval to repack the cart or I went to a fabric shop and bought the filler used in quilts. I got a 3'x1.5" filler for $2. DO NOT use any poly that has been treated for fire retardency. You don't what to inhale the chemicals used in that. When I change e-liquid flavors I just pull the filler and replace it and reuse the cart. I am also the same as I travel daily on average of 2-3hrs and is difficult to drip and drive.....I should coin that phrase...lol!!! I also did a straw modification to my carts which allows the liquid to fill the cart easier. Go on youtube.com and search, e cigarette cart filler, and straw mod. I learned a lot from there and from vaportalk videos too. Chris and Sean rock!!!!!!! Hope this helps and welcome the world of vaping.
