I had one that was doing the same thing and after several weeks of buzzing, i tossed in a set of batteries and it began to smell like burning plastic. The batteries were warm and i sniffed the charger which is what smelled of burny plastic. I tossed both the batteries and the charger. I had an identical charger as a back up, threw in the new set of batteries and there wasn't that horrible buzzing sound. Maybe i'm a weenie, but i would rather be safe than sorry. Use your nose and if you are suspicious and feel like you have to watch your charger/batteries like a hawk, then maybe its just time for a new one. I think $12.99 is worth it. Xx

I wouldn't trust my $100-$160 mods to checked luggage. I'd carry them with me, but keep the batteries seperate from the mod to keep from being hassled. I don't really feel the need to vape on the plane, but sitting in the terminal waiting for a delayed flight - its a must have item. If nothing else, just go with the old coffee trick. Nothing works better than a hot cup-o-joe to disguise that vape. Prolly wouldn't work with a 7.4 V monster mod, but works great for PG juice vapes at 3.7v. Just hold it in an extra second and you're golden! Good luck!

Started at 18, dropped immediately to 12, now at 6 & 0. I believe that my nicotine usage is purely a mental thing at this point. If i make my own juice, i'm happy with 0 nic, but if i buy it, i figure that i should be getting something for my money. Congrats on the 0 nic! Xx

Hmm... might be a better choice for me, as i'm currently stacking batteries in my reo. I love vaping at ~6V but a eensy weensy bit concerned about the safety of the 123 stacks. It should fit the grand, right? Xx

I'm working on my one year vapeversary. I know that my health has improved. I never expected that this journey would take me as far as it has. We have an amazing community of vapers! One of the hardest things about giving up the tobacco was the fact that i would no longer be able to hang out with my smoking buddies. Smoking was a social event for me and trying to quit while being around it i would always find that it was too hard to say no to having a smoke. I didn't like the feeling that was missing something, even if that was 4000+ chemicals. Vaping allows me to still be able to participate in that social aspects of going out on break for a smoke without having to give up all my friends. Follow the money and you'll see why the "digital smokers" are now public enemy #1. Drug companies, tobacco companies, government. E cigs are f*cking with that revenue and they are going to fight to the death to recap those losses. Health? Well, that comes second. I am proud to say that i am a non-smoker. I am proud that i was brave enough to take that leap of faith, take a hit to my wallet and leave big tobacco in the ashtray where it belongs. As a smoker i had nothing to lose by trying out the ecig (other than my 99 bux), as a vaper i risk losing my health to uneducated bs FDA public policy. I hope that i never pick up another cigarette as long as i live.

Dayna rocks my vape world. Kona Cream is a good flavor, but a bit perfumy for me. I much prefer the richer flavor of her Starbuckets Latte. Vanilla, carmel, coffee, sweet deliciousness. I order all my juice from Sweet-Vapes in 6mg 40/60vg and extra flavor. She's always fast on the shipping and her flavors are, for the most part, spot on. Spanish Gold tobacco is sweet and rich, coffee flavors taste like *gasp* coffee (and not burnt grounds), and her sweet flavors scrumptious. What can i say, I'm a fan of Sweet-Vapes . I was more into the sweeter candy flavors when i first started on my vape journey. If you like cherry slushy, try Dayna's version. Holy wow! I ran over to the store and got me cherry slushy to have with my cherry slushy vape. Amazing! I even liked a teensy weensy cold shot, no menthol, just a cool feeling. Good stuff Maynard! Xx

Sometimes i take a cold drink with lots of ice, take a nice toot off my device and gently 'lower' the vape right on top of the ice. It looks like dry ice in a drink - really freaks out my co-workers. I don't mind the coolness, and the vape seems to be drawn to the cold. Behaves rather oddly - check it out. Xx

I'm a huge fan of sweet-vapes. You can customize your order there as to the blend of pg/vg, nic, and flavor like gourmet vapor. The difference between SV and gourmet vapor is that you know all of the recipes are hers. Its hard to tell if you are getting a GV created or a customer submitted flavor although i have purchased juice from both places and i have liked 60% of GV juice and 100% of SV juice. My favorite flavors from sweet vapes are Pear, Cherry Slushy (with a cold shot), Boston Cream Pie, and the amazing Spanish Gold signature tobacco flavor. Best I've tried from Gourmet Vapor are Peach Bellini, White Smurf, Momma loves Wapple Slush, and Perique Blackberry tobacco. These are the ones that had the best flavor for me. I always order extra flavor and 50/50 PG/VG blend. Flavor is subjective, so it comes down to just basic opinion. The fun part is trying new flavors. I thought for sure that i would love bakery style flavors, but i have not found a waffle or a cake that will live up to my exacting standards. Go with small bottles and sample packs until you get a good idea of what kind of flavors work best for you. I ADORE the Sweet Dawn and Apple Dapple flavor from the VT store. The Mentha tastes just like a camel menthol to me. I will buy tons and tons of the stuff if he ever decides to carry 8 or 12 milligram nicotine. 16 is just too much throat hit for me. It took about 15-20 samples of juice to figure out that the peppery taste was from the nicotine. I wish you all the luck in the world finding your perfect juice. Have fun with it and HAPPY VAPING! Really, the apple dapple is pretty amazing. I ended up buying some really crap juice trying to find the 'right' ones for me. I'm really looking forward to trying the Dulcis. As to the danger factor, I have to rate it about a 3. My logical mind tells me that it can't be totally good for you to inhale flavor. However, given the fact that living in NY or LA and breathing the city air is equal to smoking a few cigarettes a day bears weight to the fact that vaping is less harmful than other known (and preventable) toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis. I believe that there is a benefit to most people that are now ex-smokers. The increase in overall lung capacity is a testament to the fact that, yes, you can heal your lung function while vaping. Overall, it boils down to trading one habit for another, but if in the long run it prevents people from the well documented health risks of smoking analog cigarettes, then i'm all for it. A 3 rates a hell of a lot better than a 10. I don't want to smoke, but if i didn't have the option to vape, I have no doubt in my mind that i would go back to using tobacco products. Xx

Okay guys, Looking what I need to make this happen. 14500 batteries, check. I wish I weren't so green! on the atty, what is the difference between a regular 510, a lr 510, a 2.5 510, a 306 lr? Are there more options? What do you get for the tip? Drip tip? 510 cartridge? Ack! I'm trying to stock up here, as my atty is going to die an my ego in the next day or two. Came with 2 and one was doa. Don't want to buy a pack of analogs just to get me through. I hate not knowing what I'm looking for! Lol. I guess is better to ask now than have to return crap later. Hi everyone! I'm new to the ecigs and new to this forum. Finding great info here and some really amazing people. Began with a kiosk sale and upgraded to a VK Storm (ego) tank model. I love vaping over smoking and its saved me about a carton of cigarettes so far. I have a little more into my initial investment, however, i'm glad to have spent the money just to be able have quit the analogs. Thanks to everyone for all of your help and advice already! I've learned a lot just over the last few days and all of my questions have been answered with more information that i could even process! This is an amazing forum and i'm excited to be a part of it.
