Ok, I wasn't going to share this but it's too funny not to! This happened a few years ago. The squirrels were causing so much damage I had taken all I could take so I went and bought a couple of live traps. My theory was that I would relocate them to an area that has tons of trees and we would be good. Every day for about 2 weeks I would catch at least one and put it in the back of my truck, drive over to the park and set it loose. After the tally reached in the low 30s a friend said they were probably just coming back. The next one I caught I spray painted the tip of his tail white, relocated him, done deal. The next evening when I got home from work I noticed another squirrel in a trap. Sure enough, he had a white tipped tail!

  4. I tasted the acid way too much back in my younger years. Probably explains half the reason I am the wacky way I am... Nice one Walt hope you enjoy. Recipe could probably use a touch of a standalone apple imho as it's heavy cinnamon pastry crust but it's my most popular of all my recipes. Good straight off the bat vanilla starts to settle it down a bit within a few days.

    Kanger Cupti Coil flooding

This topic may be old but I have some insight on this issue for anyone interested. I have been a huge fan of the Cupti for about a year. I have 4 or 5 devices but I always come back to the Cupti. I think it's a great all around device. Great flavor, superior coil life, durable (dropped it more than once) and so comfortable to hold and fire. Imagine my disappointment when I recommended one to my son and it had this flooding spitting issue. I started him on a cheap vape pen and he was pumped to receive the Cupti after using mine for a few days. He has been cig free for 6 months now. All went well for a few puffs but as soon as he set it down for a few minutes it flooded big time. I gave him mine to use and messed with his FOREVER to no avail. I tried to return it but I was given all kinds of grief from the vendor who shall remain nameless. I ordered ANOTHER one from a different vendor in a different color. Surely I couldn't get two bad ones right? Wrong... While I was waiting for the second one to come I did some in depth research and came across what others have mentioned. If you have an AIR leak anywhere in the system, you WILL have a juice leak. It's inevitable. If you don't have a vacuum the juice won't stay suspended in the tank. So let's find the air leak! I took the chimney out, attached and inflated balloon to the drip tip and put it in water. Ever 15 seconds or so a bubble formed from the BOTTOM of the coil where the contact meets the bottom of the coil. I found that if I applied light pressure to the bottom of the coil with my finger while still in the water the bubbles stopped. So.... figuring I had nothing to lose I put it together and screwed it down HARD. Much harder than I would normally be comfortable with. INSTANT PERFECTION! Subsequent refills I have just screwed it down normally. I haven't changed a coil yet so I don't know if I will have to screw a new coil in hard to seat it or not. PART II The new one arrived and of course had the same issue. No problem, I know what to do now! Wrong. It didn't work. I gave this one to a friend who also has a Cupti. He loves to tinker with this stuff. He took a different approach. The first thing he did was swap chimney's with his working Cupti and my bad one. The new chimney leaked no matter where it was and his old one worked in either device. This limited the problem to the new chimney, not the whole device. He then cleaned both chimneys and inspected then closely side by side to find the difference. What he found was that there is a groove about an 1/8" below the top gasket. On his (and mine) old unit there is an O ring. On the new one, just a groove, no ring. He pulled an O ring from one of his extra drip tips and placed it in this groove. Problem solved. It's been about 3 weeks now and both of the new units are working perfectly. Not a single spit or gurgle. So if you are reading this considering a Cupti, you are probably going to be scared to pull the trigger which is understandable but still a shame. If on the other hand you already have one and it's spitting I hope one or both of these fixes work for you. Hope this helps someone. As I said, once you get a Cupti firing properly it is a joy

  6. That's tomorrow too. Just got the Apple Pie concentrate yesterday. Really excited about giving that a shot. Don't work tomorrow, so I have the whole day for mixing! Crazy laughter from the laboratory!

    What have you mixed today?

I think it's the acidity of pineapple that bothers my throat. Hoping you get the 'right' mix!

    What have you mixed today?

Pineapple is the reason I'm playing with this mix. I bought 4oz of it and I haven't found a way until now to tame it down. It's too "acidic" tasting in every other mix I have tried. Jury is not completely out yet either. I'm shooting for a "sherbert" like flavor and 6% vanilla is too much. I'm hoping I can cut back on the vanilla and not have the pineapple come blazing back with a vengeance, lol.

  10. It's going to become worse before it gets better. We now have the "TaDa!" and or "entitlement" generation voting. Expect taxes to hit a minimum of 50%.

    What have you mixed today?

Mixed this up today just playing around. Not even sure what I will call it yet: 3% Blood Orange (FW) 3% Pineapple (TFA) 2% Apple (TFA) 6% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TFA) .5% Sweetener (TFA) Very nice vape but I think I will pull the Vanilla Bean back to 4% to let the other flavors shine a little more. The apple is doing a nice job of taking the edge of the Pineapple and Orange.

We have Moma Ground Hog. Pretty much stays to herself and lives under the shed. She has become a pretty big girl over the years. I love watching her train her little ones. Right now the apple trees are starting to drop a few apples so she is having a feast.

We have a family of rabbits that took up residence under our garden shed. I'm sure they were quite disappointed there was no garden this year! They loved to nibble at the green beans! A couple of the small ones hollowed themselves a nest in my phlox bed. So now I have a bare spot there. One of the bigger ones sits in the yard next to the garage to greet me when I come home from work. When my headlights shine on "him", he takes off.

Ahh, yes, we have several where we live in the woods... and they are quite the little thieves too, lol... I just put out new solar sidewalk / driveway lights and noticed the "heads" started going missing. The other day I watched one climb down from the tree, run over to the driveway, pull the head from the stake, and run back into the tree with it! Now there are several of my solar lights about 40' up in the big Hickory tree at the bottom of my yard They also clean out my bird-feeders regularly, and are quite vocal when it's empty... I've not put anything in the feeders since mid-summer, so I think stealing my lights is their way of retaliation?
