What temp should I run at?

You are right about the TC and low ohms, I run a SS .5 to .8 coil with TC except for the 160w dripbox with that I run dual SS .8 coils that meter at .4, and get a cool to warm vape using the TC set at about 370 degrees. BTW I run a Hemi in my Dodge, and can get 26 mpg on a road trip if I keep my foot out of it, but its in a Magnum and not a Ram, much lighter car. But when passing the gas gauge moves almost as fast as the speedometer. Kind of like a mod when you turn the watts up and the battery don't last as long.

  2. Just came across this information via the Not Blowing Smoke Facebook page. While I'm filing this under the "cautiously optimistic" folder like so many other currently developing scenarios associated with the FDA, at least this one appears to be something done with good intentions. In short, this is something posted on the FDA website regarding battery safety. Good information for newer vapers and a good refresher for seasoned veterans.

  3. No problem. I'd rather provide the information so newer vapers can form their own opinions on different things than ignore concerns and see someone go back to analogs.

    Dry hit

Hard to say. Sometimes just running juice through it will cause the burnt taste to dissipate. Sometimes rinsing it and letting it dry will help. Sometimes there's nothing that can be done short of a new coil. I'm assuming of course that it is a pre-made coil. If it was an RBA, you could just re-wick and go.

    Syringes

I found that my local (livestock) feed store carries larger size syringes (20/50ml) and they work better than the 10ml for VG. They're sterile and perfect size for DYI ejuice. Earthling is 100% right that it would be a bugger to get straight VG thru that small a needle. I just pull out the plunger and pour the VG into the syringe to the measurement I need then put the plunger back and push it into the bottle. Works like a charm and makes measuring easy Basically I use 3 syringes for a 30/60ml bottle of juice.... for larger amounts I use graduated pyrex beakers as a rule though. 1ml (for nicotine) 10 or 20ml for flavors 20 or 50ml for VG
