  1. If you're using a PC (vs one of those overpriced Mac's) download a application called 'e-juice me up'. I can find a link and post it if you can't find it, but it isn't hard. It's a great app and comes with a lot of recipes that you can use to "get your feet wet".

  2. The first step to the creation of Wally's laboratory is complete. 510ml of PG, VG, Nic base is in, along with a butt load of small bottles. Now I just have to decide a a few recopies to try and order some flavors. This is the hard part.

    Wanting to try an RDA

@Edna if you're disappointed with it then I'll take it off your hands. But if you're disappointed with it then you're doing something wrong.

  7. I have several RDA's in my arsenal and the ones I keep going back to are my Mutation X v3 and v4. They are relatively easy to build on, the airflow options are out of this world for both and either can do single or dual coil setups. The Mutation X v5 looks even easier to build on. The VT store has the v4 and the v5 available right now. $19 for the v4 and only $5 for the v5. Oh @Christopher...methinks the VT store is about to receive an order for a Mutation X v5 from me.

  9. You can remove the battery, remove the stem from the mechanism, and lift the mechanism from the case... only the case can be cleaned under basic cleaning/service. The mechanism has gears as well as the electronic module... you "can" disassemble the mechanism to remove all the gears, levers, springs, etc. and THEY can be cleaned, oiled and re-assembled, but anything electronic cannot be cleaned. I'd not disassemble the mechanism for cleaning unless it is really dirty or unable to keep time... or if a battery only lasts a year or less, which would indicate dirt is stressing the mechanism, wearing down the battery faster than it should. Another thing to consider when cleaning a case is to make sure you don't damage the water-seals (unless you replace them after cleaning), and the case must be 100% clean, dry, and dust-free before re-assembly.

  12. You are so right, Walt... I went nearly 30 years without wearing a watch (after my Pulsar chronograph was stolen in college), and one day I said "hey, I'd like a nice watch to wear"... so ... and then the obsession began My fiance' think's I'm a bit crazy over my watches... she still reminds me that I can wear only one at a time... but she's starting to come around... she's beginning to see the appeal of having choices for all occasions, including ones you can wear working on the farm or playing in the ocean.... She even picked out the watch I wore to her aunt's 40th wedding anniversary dinner over the weekend, telling me "this one looks sophisticated and will look good with your tie"

  13. @Walt Ya cant make Draino if you mix the flavors you like If you like them you can always vape them

  14. My worry is making a ton of Draino, but with a lot of help from here and a little help from YouTube, everything so far has gone great! I had on coil swell a little with heat and touch the housing but I caught it right away per the resistance reading on the Mod. I had to re-wick a couple of builds as my first builds were packed to tight with cotton. Other than that this hobby is cruzing right along. I figure there's only one way to make good e-juice. Give it a shot and don't sweat the draino. The investment in liquids is not that great. Less than a decent dinner out for two. I would feel pretty good to be able to say I build my own atomizers and make my own juice. That would thrill me. @cany Cool site! You can sort by rating even! I think I missed my calling. I am beginning to believe I would have made a great mad scientist.

  18. @Walt I use and reuse and then use things for other things too. I take care of things to the point of ridiculous... for example I still have a pair of hiking boots that I got when I was thirteen (resoled once or twice) but I've had them for 35+ years. I can't help it it's the way I was raised. My parents were depression babies and they drilled it into me. It's not a bad quality at all

  19. @Earthling789 Thanks a million ...you're right there's no good reason to fix the timex except it was my aunts. You seem to have a ton on your plate they're beautiful watches. I'll bet it's fun scouring sales for items to fix. Once I get moved and such I might just take you up in your offer but I will pay you please ...

    Nobody cares

@Tam @Edna Ya Edna, that's right. It's all Tam's fault. I even told my wife that. Tam made me do it! Backups!!!!!! Ok, so we've been eating ham sandwiches for a month. What's wrong with that? Ham and bread are healthy! Just like vaping! I don't see a problem here.
