  1. You bring up a great point and something that is so frustrating for vendors. If a customer comes into the store and mentions that their hardware is warm or acting up, we are literally not allowed to assist/asses/ help with the situation. Which is mind numbly stupid. One the vendors we work with close by is undergoing a lawsuit at the moment because a user stacked their batteries. Something you should never, ever do. Almost every vendor mentions this as well. And while this particular vendor is not at fault, he still has to fork out the cost of proving himself not liable.

You know you've come a long way in a short period of time when you take a piece of equipment that isn't working up to par and you find a way to make it work. That's the mark of someone who is truly hard headed committed to letting go of the analogs and moving fully to vaping.

  4. oh,it's me,*again* i picked up the emus from the regulation sale, and a five pack of coils for it.I couldn't resist,it was shiny!plus the fact I'm sick to death of toting full set ups and the price was right, now I have something I can put in one case and go,to my various doctor's appointments, dates (yes it's a jungle out there !!) and squeeze into a small place and be very discreet if I need to.I can run high nic on a 2.5 coil,so I will get my fix pretty fast, not so worried about the small battery, after all I do have multiple power banks I keep charged anyway;)

  5. I'll start by saying the coils that come with the Baby Beast (as well as all replacement coils at the moment) are kanthal. With that out of the way... The Baby Beast comes with two coils: The T8 (.15 ohm octo-coil) and the Q2 (.4 ohm dual core). The Q2 is the coil that comes pre-installed on the tank. The Q2 coil allows for slightly more airflow than the T8. The Q2 is rated from 20-50 watts with 30-40 watts being the recommended setting. The T8 is the extra coil and is slightly more restrictive than the Q2. The T8 is rated from 50-110 watts with 60-80 watts being the recommended setting. I own two of these. I run the T8 coils exclusively in my Baby Beasts and I generally set my mods to 75 watts. It isn't too warm, it isn't too cool. It's a small tank that packs a big punch. Great clouds and great flavor.

    SMOK TFV8 Full Review

I just bought this a week ago and love it. I have been using the crown with .25 coils at 50 watt on my Sigelei and 65 on my 120 kanger. But this tank at 90 watts on the Sigelei. Seems like if I go higher I get a little bit of a burnt hit towards the end as I hit for a full breath. Maybe 3 or 4 seconds. Just wicked the RBA last night so still adjusting for the long perfect hit. Seems like for me its 70 to 75 watts. Anymore with my long hits and I get a bit of a burnt taste. The thing I dont like is it seems with the RBA coils that come with it it takes time to start going good. I will make some coils in the future like maybe 28 gauge. I should put the tank on my Kanger as it seems it likes a higher wattage compared to my Sigelei. Im loving this tank tho!! And good write up.
