Insert long wordy diatribe on the politicians and morons who agree with them. I'm too tired tonight.4 points -

Can we all agree this whole "public threat" thing is total ********? I'm so tired of hearing about the battle against the "threat" of e cigarettes.3 points -

This Christmas we should decorate the trees with politicians, the whole country would get a Christmas present that way.3 points -

Kanger's "Unknown Source" list
Edna and one other reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Fasttech makes sense... as well as some of the other sites that list counterfeits... But I'm at a loss on VapeNW because all the Kanger products I've bought from them have verified "authentic". I've bought plenty from 101Vape as well, but I think the last Kanger products I bought from them were KPT2's, lol2 points -
@smacksy That was my thinking. I've got a display/storage shelf idea, (think knick-knack shelf) but I wanted to try to figure out the way , I could include the tanks into it too. I'm thinking two tier, maybe 2.5" wide by 8" long. My 7/8" Forstner bit is wide enough for the 22mm tanks with the 1/4" for the 510 pin. It would give it a clean hole look. Then maybe a 1" bit for the 25mm tanks. That should give me storage for 14+ tanks. @Adversarious1 I like the idea of a module system too, maybe multiple adjustable shelves.... Thanks guys...1 point

Kanger's "Unknown Source" list
Tam reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
I thought I'd share the information here since I know there are a lot of folks around here that really like their Kanger products, really like certain online vendors or both. I came across this quite by accident, as I was looking for information about the relationship between Kanger and Arymi. That's a potentially interesting story for another thread at another time, but during my search for information I came across a couple of pages on the KangerTech website that show lists of allegedly unauthorized websites selling counterfeit Kanger products and/or selling Kanger products that they obtain from an unknown source. I do not know how Kanger made the determination these sites were selling counterfeit goods or were obtaining them from unknown sources, but some of these sites are sites many of us have used or continue to use. A few of the notables from the unknown source list: VapeNW ElementVape Aspenvalleyvapes A few more notables from the "counterfeit" list: FastTech Kangertech.co.kr (South Korea) kangertech.dk (Denmark) 101Vape kangermall Those were the notables that stuck out in my head (the two kanger branded sites simply because they are probably not actually affiliated with Kanger). You can check the full lists of those that Kanger has "black listed" by clicking HERE for the "Unknown Source" sites, or you can click HERE for the "counterfeit" sites.1 point -
I have the same problem.. But may have a simple solution..might drill some holes in a one foot long 2x6 big enough for the 510 on the tanks to sit flush.. can have several rows of holes for many tanks..after drilling sand the 2x6 and chamfer the ends and the tops of the holes, next stain it and spray a good polyurethane clear coat on it.. Would set great on my building table and easy access to my tanks and look good too, just an idea so far, lol Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk1 point

Tank Stands DYI help please
Walt reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
I have about a dozen of these. I picked them up for $1 each from a B&M when they were going out of business. I'm trying to get my brother to machine me some more. All of them are aluminum. Most are threaded, but a couple aren't. I see these frequently for about $3 each and I have yet to knock over a tank. In any event, it beats trying to balance them on their 510 pins and hope they remain upright. I also have some ideas of a modular type setup similar to the one below, but made of wood. I want to be able to break it down or re-configure it to my liking as well as expand it as my collection of mods, tanks and RDA's continues to grow.1 point -
Just went to their site and 101Vape does have all kinds of coils in their inventory, including Kanger.1 point

Yeah, I was scratching my head too at the mention of VapeNW and 101 Vape. I've ordered plenty of authentic (I checked) Kanger products from both places.1 point

Maybe turn it off? I don't know, seems like half the time it's ok. It's only on a hot thread that I find it most annoying. But if it's no difference to anyone else, i vote turn it off.1 point

New Feature Request?
smacksy reacted to Christopher for a topic
This actually drives me nuts. Often I'll reply to the product mega request thread (Reply to one person, then another, then correct a mistake) and it's glanced over. There is no way, that I can think of currently to allow it to be user controlled. What I can do though is just turn the merge feature of completely. I know more often than not, it causes more harm than good. Thoughts?1 point -
Thanks @Tam and @Squid My next adventure will be the build....Ahhhh..... vaping goodness!1 point
