  1. Finally an active temp control thread. I came back to vaping recently and with that excuse I brought a new tank - lemo 3. I set the tank up with one of the stock coils the ecl ss316l (elongated wicking holes) and decided to try out temp control, after a brief call to my technical wizard at vapetime uk who ran me through the menues on my Q-Class. . . . I was amazed No harsh throat hit, totally smooth vape, huge clouds and AMAZING flavour! After this I thought it must get better with an rda but instead of using my lemo 3, as I knew this setup was my new "go too" I brought a wismec neutron and with some 26ga ss316l wire 9 wraps on 30mm came out at .29 I honestly could not tell much difference between the two, if anything I prefer my lemo. Next is to try some ss claptons. . . Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  2. Yes, 5000mAh should get you a couple days at 30W Or, at least a day if you chain-vape like crazy, lol... I'd snag two if I were you, so you'd have one to vape while the other is charging... or at least carry a couple of other backups that you can use while the iPower charges. Personally, I just carry several extra batteries when I travel, swap them as needed, and charge them in the evening (at the hotel). You say you don't have a 12V charging plug in your SUV? That's not a huge issue, as you can easily add in a 2A USB plug (many of them look like factory plugs once installed) for about $10-15 and buy a Nitecore U20 charger... it's like the d2, but connects via USB, rather than standard AC plug (although you can use a AC/USB adapter). They work best if you have a 2A or higher USB outlet, and are fantastic chargers... I have two, so there is always one in a vehicle or my travel bag. They're worth every penny of the $15 each I paid for them on Amazon As for tanks, yes the Toptank mini or the original Subtank mini would be good. They have good airflow for lung vaping, hold ~ 4ml of juice, the coils are not "expensive", and I've yet to have one leak that wasn't MY fault... left one in a hot car and I failed to fully seat a coil in the base once

  3. If the landlord weren't your mother, I'd say vape what you wanted, when you wanted... it's not "smoke" and it's not a combustible cigarette... and vapor has yet to set off a smoke-detector (to my knowledge) anywhere... BUT, since it is your mom, I'd honor her wishes and go outside. If you HAD to stealth-vape, stick with a 20/80 PG/VG (low vapor) liquid in small tank (like an eGo battery and KPT3 mini or EVOD) and you'll not produce much vapor, if any, and the smell would be very limited to nothing more than a little spritz of air-freshener in the flavor you're vaping, so you'd need a fruit flavor? And, I hate to be harsh... but perhaps it's time to move out and get your own place, where you can do what you want, when you want?

    OTR Mod/tank Suggestions Please

Well, you know... it was you who got me to buy an Eleaf iPower 80W TC (5000 mAh). The more I use it, the more I'm wishing all of my back up iStick 50W (4400 mAh) were the iPowers instead. Don't get me wrong, I love them both, I just prefer the iPower a bit more these days. They've both worked well for me and the charge lasts for days of even heavy chain vaping. As for tanks, the ones you've been using should be fine with a little care. Put a foam can cozy into your cup holder to put the mod into when you're not using it (don't leave it unattended though), so it doesn't get bumped around too much. Congrats on the new job!

    Covert vaping in a bedroom?

I'm with Edna on this one. Being a landlord, I'd tell my renter... "My way or the highway." If you absolutely have to vape in the middle of the night, open your window, put the fan in a position so it blows OUT the window (blowing any vapor outside instead of the room), and vape that way. The smell from your juice will linger in your room if you vape with the window closed.

  9. I saw this on drudge and read the story and couldn't believe that she was SO DUMB to risk a $1200 purse for a .99 cent fix.... Unreal!

  10. This is why you don't carry 18650 batteries loose in your pocket/purse/backpack/etc. They make little plastic cases, silicone sleeves, and zipper-pouches for a REASON! LG should tell her "we don't reimburse you for stupidity"... Perhaps someone should tell her 99-cents for a plastic box would have saved her hundreds of dollars for a new purse (and contents)?

  11. I have 2 Subvods, and haven't had a leaking problem with either one, even after sitting for a couple of days full of juice. Chis is probably right about the o-rings being missing. sometimes a extra o-ring gets stuck on the coil, and causes leaking.

  12. Hey Kelson, nothing worse than the frustration of trying to vape while it's leaking everywhere! I had this issue with my aerotank at one point in time and was baffled as it was generally considered a good device. (I like to rotate my tanks) Anyway turns out when I replaced my glass, the tiny O ring had fallen off. It was so well hidden in the crack between the glass and metal base you wouldn't notice. I found it, put it back in and all was good. Are all the rubber o rings in place? (Usually the main reason for leaking)
