I'm sorry, I was close to losing it and it takes a lot for that to happen. I don't see it happening again for a long time. You just can't keep someone like me down for long and damn glad it is over.3 points -
Some people *coughJeffBcough* do charge batteries while they sleep. I'd much rather be awake in case something happened.2 points

That lasts long and I can run in a few different mods. I basically use an Invader mini with a subtank mini in TC 28W and a subox mini with subtank mini 30W as my all day mods. I do tend to chain vape a bit and Im going thru 4-5 batts in a 16hr day. Whats a good batt that will last ??1 point

Is there such a mod?
Adversarious1 reacted to smacksy for a topic
I never buy or use mods with built in batteries..For me it's much safer charging removable batts in a separate dedicated charger.. That said I do not charge them overnight or unattended.. Takes under 2hrs to fully charge 4 18650 batts at once..safely[emoji12] Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk1 point -

Woah so your order is taking much longer than it should have to arrive. If it doesn't arrive by Friday let me know and we'll look into reshipping your order. USPS pass over to Canada generally works well most of the time... however there are a few instances like this were it really lags for whatever reason. We were talking about this the other day actually and we might look at implementing FedEx as an option for our vapers up north. I know this doesn't help at the moment, but keep me updated and we'll make sure you're taken care of.1 point -

pre maide coil
bearleaper reacted to Edna for a topic
Hi Gunny, I get my premamde coils from here but there are a ton of other places where you can get them online. I have to say that Fasttech has great prices and so far all the coils I have bought have been spot on ohm wise and are a constant size and good in performance, I like them. They're just very very slow in delivery. I would try your local vape shop or I know that Central Vapor sells some. It's really not that hard to wind coils but you need at minimum an ohm meter, jig and ceramic tweezers. I watched a lot of youtube videos and learned a lot. Also tools for measuring resistance, ohms and such as using steam engine . is VERY useful1 point -
What happened? Did your current mod stop working? Around here we stress getting lots of back ups of everything. And back ups of back ups. And back ups of those. Seriously, you can never have too many. You'll be glad you did when something goes sideways with three (or more) batteries and/or tanks, coils, etc. Most of us on here have had it happen, but many of us had enough spares to get us through.1 point

NEVER leave a battery charging unattended. That's just inviting trouble should it get hot while charging or explodes or begins to smoulder... A fire could start and you'd be sound asleep until it was too late. I love mine...1 point

We are just glad you are alright, comp.. No stress, ok? Take the time you need to get settled again. We've missed you, is all. Glad you're ok and out of the grips of dealing with the mentally ill. Hope you guys can recover and return to a normal life. I know it's rough. Good to hear from you.1 point

Oh what a couple months this has been. I'm sorry about the order Jeff I sent you a PM and will be getting with you and how to make it up to you. To make a very long story some what sort, I had some bad family issues I was dealing with. My stepson was returned from placement. He had been in placement for almost 4 years because of his violent behavior. He was kick out of every placement he was put into because he refused to do the programs offered and his viotent behavior. The state through up their hands and sent home. We pleaded in court that he was not ready, if ever ready to live in a normal setting. So, they sent him home. We had the cops here almost every day since he was returned. It took his doing excessive damage and assaulting his Mom to finally get him placed in Juvy and not back in residential treatment. As Cany said my Lab was trashed during all this and had over $2000 damage done to my home. The problem child is now in Juvy and will not ever come back. I know I sound a little cold but, if you had lived what I lived trough with him, you would be too. During all this I had a possible Angina attack. I'm having testing done to find out if there is a more serious issue going on or if it was just all stress related. So far, the tests are showing that is was stress related as everything is coming back negative. My computer is on almost all the time. I am not always at the Keyboard though. I would get maybe 5 min a day on it tops during this crisis. Most times I was just rebooting it. I have over 2000 emails I'm sorting through and have yet to answer any of them. I have officially closed the store as well. I could not keep up with any orders and with FDA crap I just saw the writing on the wall for that. Thank you everyone for your concern and Yes you will be seeing more of me now as I get things back in order. I let a couple people down because of this issue and feel horrible about it. I do plan on trying to make it right as best I can, but I know I have lost some trust over this. I'm here to say, I will do what needs done and will be back to my normal self soon.1 point -
As far as I know, no. I've only had one "invasive" surgery since I started vaping, and when I was asked, was told I could vape up until I got to the hospital. But some docs have different preferences. I know a friend of mine had a doc tell her not to smoke for x hours before any surgery (like, the time she had to be without food), and that was in a period where I was having a lot of surgeries, and I was never told not to smoke - not even before my sinus surgery. PS: Congrats on the weight loss! You deserve a reward!1 point

The Sigelei 150tc is a 150w dual 18650 device capable of Wattage mode and Joule(temp control) mode.Wattage on this device ranges from 10w-150w.Joule mode ranges from 10j-100j.Output voltage is 1.0v-7.5v and input voltage is 6.4v-8.4v.Temp ranges from 100-300 degrees •C/212-572•F.Atomizer resistance is 0.1ohms - 3.0ohms.Max current is 35A.Dimensions are 103x57x25mm and weighs 190g.Low voltage protection,Low resistance protection, input high voltage warning,Output short circuit protection, reverse battery protection,Overheating prevention as well. The texture on the Sigelei 150TC is really nice with a rubbery type feel.proper battery venting.Buttons are nice and clicky.Nice bright screen displays all the info you need, ohms, voltage, wattage and battery life.Spring loaded 510 everything I have put on this has sat nice and flush. It did come with a clear silicone sleeve also. The only con I have found with this device is the battery door.Although they are held on by magnets they aren't strong enough to keep it on the device very well so unintentionally the door can come off if you don't use the silicone sleeve.Besides that it works very well and does what it advertises. My honest opinions on this device are good but not amazing .i would give this a 7 out of 10 rating IMO.Thanks guys! Go check out GearBest's subforum on the main VaporTalk page! This was sent to me from GearBest for the purposes of this review.1 point

Innokin Disruptor + Arctic 0.5 ohm?
Edna reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
Greeting Chinis. Welcome to VT and congrats on getting off the analogs. To answer the first of your questions, yes, that mod will work with the Arctic tank and .5 ohm coils. The minimum 0.2 ohms you see simply means that is the lowest that mod can fire. There are some tanks out there that use coils that are less than .2 ohms (for example the TFV8 has .15 ohm coils). Would it be worth the money is a much more difficult question to answer because so much about vaping is subjective and is really dependent upon each individual person's vaping style and preferences. The best answer would be to answer your question with a question: Is it worth it to you? I haven't used it, but I haven't heard anything negative about the mod. For the price, unless you have your heart set on purchasing from that specific B&M or there is another reason you can't wait for a few days, you can get it online with an extra battery AND shipping for less money. Extra batteries are never a bad thing. To answer that second question purely from my point of view no, it wouldn't be worth it. Even when I was a brand new vaper, as soon as I wanted to graduate from my starter kit to something more advanced, I wanted to go with something that provided me with what I wanted immediately, but also left me with room to grow even if I never ended up vaping at more than 20 available watts. I wanted the option there. I would also steer clear because of the proprietary battery. Granted, it is replaceable (unlike many mods with built in batteries) and you can buy extra batteries all day long, but at $23 Canadian per battery, I would rather go with something that uses one or two (or even three) 18650 batteries and offers room to grow. Again, that is me. There are plenty of people who never vape higher than 20 watts let alone 50 watts and there are people who are perfectly content with having mods that allow them to plug in a micro USB cable and charge it. They don't want to have to fidget with external batteries, battery chargers, ensuring batteries stay together, etc. and that is 100% perfectly acceptable. That's one of the many beautiful things about vaping (aside from providing many of us an alternative way to get our nicotine that doesn't involve combustible tobacco, questionable medication, gum that causes heartburn, lozenges that taste bad or patches that irritate skin). There is virtually an endless number of options available to suit every vaper's personal taste.1 point
