Ever since I graduated beyond my initial starter kit I have used different tanks for different purposes. Some I use as "daily drivers", others I only use at home. So for me, the 3ml capacity isn't going to be an issue because they will more than likely be used for those occasions when I'm relaxing in the mancave while watching football and drinking beer or some other concoction infused with copious amounts of alcohol. I've also read and seen a couple of reviews that are saying the flavor production of the smaller tank is superior to the larger one. I like clouds, but I'm not a cloud chaser. I like flavor, but I'm not a flavor chaser. I'm simply a vaper who enjoys a wide variety of options. For ordering from the VT store (or anywhere, for that matter) I use a computer. As far as the similarities between the VT app and Tapatalk, @Christopher confirmed the VT app was built using the Tapatalk foundation. I still like the look of and feel of the VT app in comparison to Tapatalk, though. Tapatalk is convenient in that it allows me to keep multiple forums at my fingertips, but there are a handful of things about the Tapatalk app that have changed since I initially started using it that I don't like.2 points -

New ruling against FDA (Don't get too excited)
Christopher reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
The Winston-Salem Journal ran this story this morning about a Federal Judge ruling that making label changes does not make a new product and therefore does not require a review by the FDA. In short, the case was filed by Big T because the FDA was trying to assert it's authority over label changes even when nothing about the actual tobacco product was changing. The judge found in favor of the tobacco companies, however in the same ruling the same judge found that changing the volume DOES trigger the review process. So while this ruling was primarily about Big Tobacco, the ruling now extends to products now defined by the FDA as tobacco products (i.e. e-liquid). I can see it as a small victory in that a liquid manufacturer can change the label at will, however if they have a certain formula for a certain juice that they offer in 15ml and 30ml and they suddenly start offering a 120ml, that will likely have the FDA breathing down their backs.1 point -

Nice find, I was looking over this earlier this morning. While a small win, a win nevertheless.1 point -

I have quickly found that I can easily go through almost 6ml during my commute from work to home, which frequently lasts 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on what time I get out of work and the day of the week. But at home, I don't mind having to refill if I need to. I bounce between my regulated mods, mech mods, tanks and drippers so frequently that refilling isn't a big deal.1 point -

Good enough..I don't own a computer..just this phone and a tablet..Tapatalk keeps all my forums on one page, including this one.. Sitting here watching Pork Chop Hill I filled the cloud beast when the movie started, 6mls.. Now it's almost MT after vaping it for about 1.5 hours..3ml would be way too little, least for me it would..thx for the reply Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk1 point -

FDA Regulations Explained - Updated Thread
Christopher reacted to FXRich for a topic
It would probably depend on the state law, I didn't notice in the regs any thing about it, besides sales to minors are prohibited. You are right about kids going into bars with their parents, its been happening for years. Maybe they are afraid the second hand vape will be harmful. But being private property they can restrict minors from entering if they want, at least that's the way it used to be.1 point -
I am very familiar with over production, using CNC machines, once the tooling is set and the program is in, the only cost is material, and electricity. As a example I sell 200 parts to a company every few months, if I run 800 - 1000 parts, I can sit on the remaining parts until they order them. The only downside is if they change the specs. So far they have not changed specs for years. I do this with most of the repeat parts I produce. The more parts I produce the cheaper the cost per part, so profit margin goes up. Due to the fact most of the parts I produce are proprietary, I can't sell them to someone else. The Chinese could care less if a part is proprietary, so they can sell them.1 point

The istick 60w TC, 100w TC, 200w TC, and the Pico all use replaceable 18650 batteries.1 point

Thanks for confirming what I already suspected, Chris. As with most Chinese manufacturers, they are paid by XYZ company to produce a specific number of widgets per day, or for only so many hours per day... the rest of the time left in that day is typically spent continuing to manufacturer the same widget using lesser materials or even the same materials... just altering or omitting the manufacturing logo of the OEM product. And, once the contract expires, rather than re-tool a productive product line, they'll continue to produce that product as a 1:1 clone for as long as it is profitable.... I'm sure the manufacturer in question still has millions of the Kanger boxes and miles of Kanger logo foil for the blister packs? US manufacturers do the same thing... A local factory which produces diapers for Kimberly Clark only produces for that logo 10-hrs per day... the remaining 14 hours per day, they produce "generic" products for store-logos... but they are exactly the same diapers, same materials, but with different packaging and pull-tabs. These clone coils are very high quality... so far... I've yet to find a bad one from the four 50-packs I've purchased, and if I do find a bad one, it can be rebuilt or tossed... after-all, they're cheap enough to toss away and not think twice about it IMO, these are 1:1 clones, possibly made on the same line as the original Kanger OCC coils? All but five 5-packs have the proper packaging logos, all of them (so far) meter 1.17-1.21 Ohms, and all of them bear the exact same markings/stamps as OEM coils... and they vape great, too!1 point -
Battery Life question

We all had to start somewhere. I was fortunate enough to stumble across these forums not long after I started vaping. I learned a lot, picked up on some things quicker than others and have enjoyed my time here. Paying it forward by passing on my own experiences, knowledge and opinions is my way of repaying those who taught me.1 point -
@jasonculp@FXRich@Adversarious1 Hi and no worries! I learn a lot reading all of your posts and I'm sure I haven't made a stupid mistake because of them I'm still fairly new to vaping and appreciate any advice I can get and you're all very generous with yours. Thanks tons!1 point
