Happiness in charging
jasonculp and one other reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Lazy is good I have two of the Nitecore i4 chargers and stack up batteries as they drain... once I have enough to fill both chargers (usually every 5-6 days), I plug them in and charge while I'm working... so I can watch them. I don't like to charge anything if I can't watch it.... Like you, I have several (20 I use for vaping, and another 8 for my flashlights), so I don't have to worry about having several spares charged and ready, at any given time... And, at least the IPV-mini and Cloupor Mini's have USB charging ports, so I can charge them in the mod if an emergency should arise My SO uses the Wismec Presa and V1 Spinners, and she always seems to have one on the charger (for me to watch, lol). Like you, Tam, she prefers those with built-in batteries so she carry two or more around with her for daily use and work. At least I have her carrying backups for her backups, lol. Funny story about backups... she called me at midnight recently, to bring her a spare battery because she had only taken one Wismec and her Nautilus. I took her another Wismec, Nautilus, spare coil, 10ml bottle of her ADV, and a Spinner topped with a KPT3-mini and fresh coil. She said around 3am, the coil died in her Nautilus, and she was sooo happy that I had made her over-prepared2 points -

And this is why I love my Eleaf iStick 50W so much, it has a 4400 mAh battery enclosed. Even when I chain vape all day, I only have to charge it every third or fourth day or so. Regular tanks, sub-tanks, it can take it all!2 points -

I have to respectfully disagree. I have used hemp fiber and it will not absorb more juice it will actually repel the juice. It has a bad taste for a long time. I couldn't even get past one drip session before I went back to cotton. Now I only use cotton pads and they do absorb juice like crazy. There is no strange taste and it is cheaper than hemp. Sorry I just just don't like it.2 points -
My go to battery sources in this order (My opinion only): Liion Wholesale Illumn RTD Vapor I personally only buy cells that are made by the large manufactures, not cells that are rewrapped by others. I stick to Sony, LG and Samsung mostly. Here is info (testing) on the Sub Ohm Cell2 points

If you are curious you can put your Subvod tank on your box mod, and try it at 12 watts. Just don't try it at 60 watts you will burn the coil out real fast.1 point -

Email Evolv and let them know what happen they may send you a new chip. However, you would have to be able to send the old chip back to them. Not sure if they can mail it to you directly, but they that you can work out with them. They may be out of stock on the site but they have them for repair and replacement.1 point -

What brand & mix of e liquid do you generally vape and why?
jasonculp reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
Well most know I am a one flavor guy for the most part. For approaching 3 years I have used Endless Summer in 18mg from Fuzion exclusively. I can't put my finger on it but almost every other flavor I have tried has some sort of aftertaste I find unpalatable. Because it is a "no pg added" liquid it creates a lot of vapor so in stealth vaping situations I keep a tank of a mix Comp at Fadora made for my wife that is a peppermint in 24mg and 80%pg because I can dip into a bathroom or even outside at times and be satisfied with a couple pulls. Even at work at times I hold my ADV in to dissipate before exhaling. I am one of those that doesn't care about the vapor production it's the flavor and nicotine I am after. In the beginning I probably tried over a hundred flavors but never tasted anything I like even close to half as much as my ADV I use pretty much exclusively and now order it 480ml at a time after working out a bulk discount with Fuzion lol.1 point -

WOW! That will be some well traveled vape gear! I guess a lot of it originated in China so had to make the trip to the US before making it's way to Iraq! It kinda bums me out a bit that you have to go through all of that. It shouldn't be that hard. I'm glad you are getting soon, and I hope you enjoy it!1 point -

I have used it in a genne, a KPT head and a dripper, it was even worse in the tanks. I did not come to my conclusions for a lack of trying. I really was hoping for better results.1 point -
Pink Spot and BeKuali were my go to for a long time. I needed to change things up and I have been using EC Blends and Mt. Baker. Mostly various fruit flavors from Mt. Baker and some of the Tobacco style flavors from EC Blends. My eliquid journey is a bunch of squiggly lines traveling in all directions. I have no idea what I want. I am lost. But having a good time trying out different flavors every few weeks.1 point

My constant has been EC Blend's Feels Like a Nut. They gave me a 0 mg sample with another order. At first I thought it tasted... okay, but nothing to really catch my attention. But I kept coming back to it so I ordered my first 30 ml bottle at 12 mg nic, 50 PG/50 VG with extra sweetener. Shortly after that, I started ordering it by the 125 ml bottle with double extra sweetener. Then, to try to cut back a little, I lowered the nic to 6 mg with only extra sweet. A month later, I dropped it down to 3 mg, extra sweet added. Around this time I changed to a subtank and went to a 40 PG/60 VG, then a 3 mg, 30 PG/70 VG blend. Throat hit was no longer desirable, I wanted the fullness of the vapor and a smoooooth hit. I can't put my finger on why I'm so hooked on this flavor, it just satisfies me. This is what I vape 70% of the time every day. My switch off flavor is Fadora's Tutti Frutti, Compenstine makes a blend just for my finicky tastebuds at a 3 mg, 30 PG/70 VG. The juice is consistently good and I'd be hard pressed to get better customer service. As with the FLaN from EC Blends, this blend from Comp is very smooth with no throat hit, just pure flavor and a full, rich vapor. My newest switch off flavor is Coval Vapes' Cucumber Mint (3 mg, 30/70). I sometimes add a few drops of Vaping Watch's Clockwerks Custard (3 mg, not sure what the PG/VG ratio is, could be 50/50 or 30/70) to smooth it out even more. Once in a great while when I can't vape as often, I'll go back to one of the first flavors I started with: Vapor Source's Mojito at 24 mg, 30/70. I add a few drops of custard to help smooth out the throat hit, add a little more Peppermint from EC Blends and a touch of sweetener from Flavor West. Interesting topic, Chris. I'm very interested to see what others say.1 point

The SSOCC coils in 0.15ohm are suppose to be Ni200, and the 0.5, 1.2, and the 1.5ohm are SS according to advertising I have seen. I like the size of the Subox mini, The Subox Platinum TC is the same size but 60w instead of 50w. I got one of those coming on a slow boat from China. One of the things that turned me off about the NEBOX is no adjustable airflow.1 point

I'm even lazier than that, which is why I use the iStick 50W. Don't have to take out batteries to charge, just throw them on the charger (first taking tank off and turning off battery for safety).1 point

Happiness in charging
Earthling789 reacted to jasonculp for a topic
Thanks Tam! What it really is, I am lazy. I don't like charging my batteries. I run 9 in 7 days on average. I normally wait until Friday night or Saturday to charge (I don't charge unattended) I have about 18 in rotation, so I don't have to charge often. Now I can throw 10 in to charge at the same time...lol1 point -
All too often people say, "Oh, I only need one back up, it'll be fine." And then something happens and they're waiting on pins and needles for their paycheck to hit so they can go get another...whatever it is that isn't working anymore. Then, we hear, "Wow, you were right." and they begin to sing the back up song with us. The reason why we stress back ups is because it's happened to all of us at some point. One day, I went through three coils, two tanks, and four batteries while I was out running errands. I was out of back ups but had one unit working until I got home. Was never so glad to have as many back ups as I did that day.1 point

I have found more cons than pros for titanium and nickel but for ss i have found very little but also ss is used to cook the food you eat! And thats why its either kanthal or ss for me. I was in the vape shop looking at mods and the ss feature on tc was the tipping point for me, had to have it!1 point

There have been a few times I thought we were a little harsh on pushing people to buy more and more backups, but now I know everyone was right. I have had a very hard few months at work, and very little sleep. I broke 1 mod, and 2 tanks in 2 days. I was very happy that I had a couple of extra tanks and mods. Luckily I only broke the Pyrex on the tanks so later that week I fixed them. The mod needed a bit more attention with a soldering iron, but I finally got it going too, but Payed it Forward the following week.1 point -

UPDATE: put new o-ring in the triforce, no more leaking! The juices I've got for the subvod seem harsh now I've got the triforce running properly. Lol got different juice for triforce with lower nicotine and it's a world of difference! So I think I'm too high on my nicotine levels all the way around now except for the latest bottle. As for backups I think I will build up to that, having the subvod and this mod is awesome, I've been carrying both around everywhere. Can anyone suggest another good tank? I was led to believe the triforce is close to top choice, I do like kanger products but I guess I have to find out what will thread onto my fuchai... thanks again for all the info. Since the ol lady got her subvod yesterday she had only had 1 cigarette. Here's hoping it'll work for her like it has for me.1 point -

The difference between the square coils and the round coils is the round are the newest coil kanger makes and I think they use SS416L coils where the square use a Nichrome coil. I think that is the difference but could be wrong. The Subvods I see for sale on the net have the shorter tank but if yours came with a Nano that's a plus. And like Comp said don't use the Ni200 coil in watt mode, and since the Subvod don't have TC don't use it. After looking on Sweetvapes I see their Subvod uses the new top fill Nano tank, hard to keep up with everything.1 point -

I've been using 25R (and the new 25R5, green wrapped), as well as the LG HG2 and HE2 for the past few months, and can tell little difference in the performance... so for the price, the 25R is the best bang for the buck1 point
