  1. Hello Jessie, and welcome to VT! Popular? Why just the selection between those two? To me, neither are overly appealing, but the choice you make will be based on price, functions, size/feel, button-placement, and features (floating/adjustable pin, materials, color, etc.). You'll find that many of us here may agree that a particular device may suit the needs of the masses, but we also agree there is no "popular" or "must-have" device that everyone should own. What you should use, is based on your preferences and needs... not necessarily what is popular Also, I'll add... the battery you use in the device is very important... safety first! There are lots of recent threads with the pros and cons of different batteries and suggestions for some of the current, best-on-the-market 18650's

  2. Tam

    Aspire Pegasus (? spelling)

I have both the Triton 2 and the Subtank Mini and by far, I prefer the Triton. It's the best thing for mouth to lung hits and it's consistent every time. I liked it so much I bought two more. The Subtank seems to run hot on the 1.5 ohm coil, even when I build on the RBA part, it's still not hitting right for me. YMMV

  3. The Pegasus looks like a good choice, but not the TFV4 for a tank, from what I have read on them they need a lot of power, and 70 watts might not be enough for some of the coils. I would recommend either the Aspire Triton2 or the Kanger subtank Mini. Just my opinion.

  4. VaporTron

    Kanger RBA Ohm's and volts

The heat pulls the juice up the wick. So as long as the wick isnt too tight you will be ok. If you are making nano coils (smashing them together real closely) put your cotton under the coil, not through it. Check out youtube. Search "28g 1.2 ohm" or whatever you are looking for at youtube or w/e. A lot of great odeas on twitter and fb also. Good luck! Try putting them together real close then strum the coil gently with a flathead to get little voids in between wraps

  5. Looks real nice, great design. Tc looks like it works well. Lcd screen flips with gyroscope. However I'd rather have my batteries built in with a tc mod. Let us know what you decide!

  6. I choose the Yellow, it reminded me of the old Dodge muscle cars.

    Help with RDA?

Yes, it takes practice. That's how we learn. At the same time, what Tug and Tam have both said is true. I don't think Tug meant any offense. I have the luxury of an education surrounded around electrical engineering, so much of what Tug mentioned is second nature to me. To follow up on Tam's comment, it's entirely possible you simply have a bad atty with a defective insulator. Or you may literally have a screw loose (on the atty, not in your head). For what it's worth, I can build all day long on my Mutation X or my Royal Hunter and be within 2 hundredths of an ohm of my goal. I won an igo W8 in a raffle the other night that I have no doubt I can build on. But for the life of me I can't get a decent 1 ohm coil on my LEMO. I have done 5 or 6 coils on the LEMO with the exact same results you have described. My solution? I cleaned it, put it in it's box and put it on my vape shelf in my mancave. I'm taking a breather from it for a few days and I'll tackle it again next weekend, after my frustrations are gone. Sometimes you just need to take a step back, take a deep breath and clear your head. You'll get it. And that first successful build will be one of the most satisfying builds you will ever do.

    Help with RDA?

And how do you suppose one goes about learning and understanding without actually having an RDA that they can play with and try to figure out how to use it? All the reading and watching YouTube tutorials in the world isn't going to help nobody until they actually have that first RDA in front of them and start putting it together ??
