  1. The "needs" have been easy lately... I've got plenty of juice (from DIY), coils, batteries, tanks, wire, cotton, etc. I've put myself under a strict budget for a few months, until I get my son a car, things done around the house, and pre-pay my vacation!!! Until then, unless I'm completely out of something, I'm not buying it... I promise

Your "issue" is that you just started vaping not too long ago and there are way too many choices of everything out there these days. It makes getting started much harder to do for a new vaper. That said, I'm going to make some "easy" recommendations for you. Get either a Kanger Pro Tank 2 or a Kanger Pro Tank 3 mini. The first is the full sized tank and the second is a smaller version of it. With this tank go with a 1.8 ohm single long stem coil (at least a 5-pack). The Kanger Pro tanks and minis are solid workhorses yet simple to use. They're great for beginners and won't break the bank. Then, once you get settled on the tank, you need to go juice hunting. If you're testing flavors at your local B&M, ask them what nic level (if any) are in the testers. Why are you at 3 mg of nic? Just curious. Most former smokers who went through about a pack a day usually go for 18 - 24 mg of nic to get them off cigarettes. Once that is done, they may gradually lower the nic level. Too much too soon sees many going back to cigarettes. There's really nothing bad about nicotine other than being addicting. Yes, it's a cardiovascular dilator. So is caffeine. It's the 4000+ carcinogens in the cigarettes that are bad for you. Vaping is less harmful (notice I did not say "completely safe"). You can also buy small batches of samplers that are relatively inexpensive. For trying a lot of different flavors I like EC Blends. They sell 5 ml bottles and customize to whatever you want. Select the flavor, the nic level, the PG/VG level (if you're not sure, go with a 50 PG/50 VG to start), stay away from adding any extra flavorings in the beginning so you can figure out what you like and what doesn't do it for you. A 5 ml bottle will cost around $2.50 with any additions to add a little more. Use coupon code: 10020 for 20% off the order. Go a little nuts and find out what rocks your socks off.

  5. I successfully recoiled several of the CL heads before acquiring some of the CLRs...there's a few vids on YouTube on how to do it.

  6. I'm trying so hard to only get the "needs" these days. The "wants" needs to take a back seat until I can get everything reorganized and paid forward so I can make more room...

Many of the testers at vape shops have little or no nicotine. If you then are buying a flavor that has more nicotine you are definitely going to taste a difference. Since it is happening with so many juices you have mentioned that is my first guess as to what is going on. What nicotine level are you vaping?

  9. The local B&M sent me a "customer appreciation" email last night... 10% off gear, free juice... the usual stuff, but I noticed they were also hosting a cloud comp at their juice-bar this weekend... totally open, no restrictions, no rules... The evil person in me wants to go watch to see how many people damage themselves (or equipment), because you know some moron is going to show up with a car-battery and a 0.01 Ohm quad-coil ... the sane person in me says "stay away!" I usually listen to the sane one, because the fewer people that attend these things, maybe they'll stop having them?

  10. You'll have to try. Looks like the arctic will take either but i cant find anything that says the spartan can take the btdc coil. That usually means no. But not definite. Sorry

  11. I just can't see wasting good juice, it's not the juice's fault that I have wonky taste buds.

  12. I have noticed people who vape help other people who vape. When I deliver parts to my customers is when I see this the most, this one guy gave me a jar full of used KPT coils, I'm slowly rebuilding them and giving them back. Another girl who's husband is in prison and left her to support the kids, (at least she's trying) I always take her 30ml bottles of juice, and tell her she's my new juice guineapig, I think she knows better because they are always her favorite flavor. I have given a lot batteries, and tanks away, and don't regret it. My accountant says I can probably write it off since I'm giving the stuff to my customers employees. I even thought about having the company name phone number and other info printed on evod batteries and giving them away as advertising, like people do with pens and stuff.
