  1. Every Since I started Vaping and making mods I would keep reminding myself that there had to be a better way of handling my growing collection of Batteries. I tried lining them up in a cigar box all nice and neat only to knock them back into a jumbled mess the first time I reached for one. Or go to swap out the battery in a mod and forget which hand I had the charged one in ( I killed way to many brain cells when I was Younger ). So while planing this I knew I wanted it to incorporate my existing charger (works great) keep my batteries organized, and be able to test various sizes of batteries. Then I remembered "THE DRAWER" You know the one (I can't be the only one) It's where you throw all the AAA,AA,C,etc. rechargeable and non batteries that you have ever owned and have no idea which are good or bad. So I had to find a meter that would read down to 1.2 volts (AAA) (most will not show below 2.5 volts). And So this is what I came up with and was finally able to get organized and reigning in "THE DRAWER" was a nice added benefit. And in case you;were curious what the 2 bolts next to the display were for It's for testiing 9 volt batteries.(My younger brother will no longer let me test them my preferred method which was to goad him into sticking the leads on his tongue ). Thank you for viewing as always all questions, critiques, and or comments are much appreciated.

Hi Karen, and welcome! When you taste flavors in the shops, they are typically in a specific tank, like the Kanger ProTank3-mini or something similar. The type of tank and coil you use does affect the flavor, not to mention the longer you're away from analogs, the more your taste buds will change (for the better), so things will constantly taste different from day to day for several months. I would suggest you try using the same tank and coil resistance the shop uses as their testers. It will make replicate the flavor profile the same. Also, the iStick mini and iStick 20W are ones I would avoid, as they fire much hotter than they specify on the display. Move up to an iStick 30W or 50W for better performance, or switch to a completely different battery all-together. Read the reviews posted here, and you'll get a good idea of what works and what doesn't.

  5. The local B&M sent me a "customer appreciation" email last night... 10% off gear, free juice... the usual stuff, but I noticed they were also hosting a cloud comp at their juice-bar this weekend... totally open, no restrictions, no rules... The evil person in me wants to go watch to see how many people damage themselves (or equipment), because you know some moron is going to show up with a car-battery and a 0.01 Ohm quad-coil ... the sane person in me says "stay away!" I usually listen to the sane one, because the fewer people that attend these things, maybe they'll stop having them?

  6. Any company that sells juice and don't list PG/VG ratios I would not buy from, (I checked their website) That's one reason I started DIY my juices. Most juice sites list PG/VG ratios and some give you a choice what ratio you want. For all you know they might buy bulk from China and put it in bottles. Just my opinion.

  7. When you say you have an Eleaf iStick v1, are you talking about the iStick 20W, iStick 30W, iStick 50W or the 40W TC (temperature control)? The 20W doesn't read the temperature correctly in watts and even in voltage mode, it tends to run hotter than what the screen says. The others are more accurate. If you're using the 20W, switch over to voltage mode and set it as low as it will go. Vape. If that doesn't do it for you, turn it up just a little, vape. Continue to go up slowly until you get a slight burnt flavor or a harsh vape. Turn it down a notch. That's your sweet spot for that juice. The KPT2 is a very good tank and is a good, solid set up in general, especially for someone who is new to vaping. Another thing that could cause the "burning" of your throat (what we call "throat hit"), is how much PG is in your juice. More PG, more throat hit. More nicotine, more throat hit. What is the level of nic and PG/VG ratio in the juice you're using?

  9. That guy's going to blow his face up being so reckless. And we wonder why vaping is getting such a bad name.
