  1. Compenstine

    E liquid question.

Hummm and the one they show as their test is generic and not specific. (Their Certificate of Analysis) So where is the proof that they did anything except take the word of their Flavoring supplier? Or the individual tests on the flavors they list on their site? Hummmm

  4. I stumbled on this thread through a google search looking for reasons why I was getting a "check bat" error on my brand new IPV D2. I was about to panic because so far I LOVE this device. Anyway, I found that in the process of screwing on all my tanks checking if I was getting the same error, I saw that the firing pin had become misaligned. I just pushed down on the spring loaded pin and readjusted it to the center and it cleared right up!

    Help!

I didn't think about this in my post to the other thread. .7 ohm would be cooler possibly? YES!

Welcome JC! You're comparison is apples-to-Buicks... but I'll try to give you some examples of why.... The prebuilt coils have been known to have "packed" cotton, which may be too tight, which slows wicking-action. Many people have said they needed to loosen the cotton a bit to improve wicking in the pre-built coils. Use a toothpick or push-pin to loosen it up a bit if that is the case. When you are building on the RBA deck, you are most likely "fanning" the cotton, which improves wicking greatly over the pre-builts. As for power, 0.5 Ohms @ 40W is 4.5V and nearly 9A of power. The 0.7 Ohm coil @ 40W is 5.3V, but only 7.6A of power! Is 40W too much for either of these coils? That depends on the juice and your preferences, but you can see the Amp-draw and Voltage differences. Personally, I have a 0.8 Ohm coil I use often, but rarely push it beyond 25W of power... then again, I don't like my vape HOT, nor does my juice

  8. I personally vote for the ipv d2. I really like mine. It is nearly as small as an iStick, but has a removable 18650 and 75 watts. (in power mode). That being said here is my next big expense (if I will quit spending) I think I will get a Cloudmaker I like the fact you can use 2 18650's or the Lipo, and DNA 200 or YiHi sx350J. It is a sweet rig! Truth be told...$200 vs $50 for another D2....I will probably get another D2. One thing I have learned about the DNA200 is the use of the new 900mah lipo's. They are 11.1V 3C cells. If I read everything correctly (I have not looked too deep myself), the cell is good for 23 amps, and using it on the DNA200 (at much lower voltages) it is supposed to have the equivalent of nearly 2700mah if you directly compared it to 18650's. I have not looked up the conversions myself. Ok, couldn't stand it: Wh = mAh × V / 1000 so, 900mah @ 11.1v = 9.99Wh 9.99Wh @ 3.7v = 2700mah

  9. Received Tam's nemesis... the Triton.. in the mail earlier this week, but my son picked up the mail and left it in his car for a few days, lol.. Gonna go through it tomorrow and find out what makes this thing tick, and maybe get it working? Thanks Tam... and I promise, I'll not break out the hammer on it for at least a few hours
