  1. Sorry I have been taking a while on the reviews this week, you guys. I wanted to take the weekend off and just vape some of the ones I had already gone over. I was unaware that this week would be h*ll week at work. I'm absolutely swamped. Going in early and staying a few hours late just to get stuff done. I just got home tonight. I sat down with a beer and I'm not even going to be able to finish it before I have to shower and knock out. I may have to push my next post back to this weekend. It all depends on the workload and whether or not it eases up throughout the week. Unfortunately, at this point, there is no end in sight. I know you told me to take my time, Bebop. I didn't want to make this a long and drawn out process. I tried to make it efficient. But real life comes first. On the bright side, I have a couple of new juices to add to the list. So I know one of the guys who works over at "The Vape Kit" here in LA. They make portable building kits that are very high quality. I ride the subway with the aforementioned man everyday. I've been talking to him for awhile, and I meant to stop and see them at ECC so I could pick up their two new juices. However, I missed their booth and by the time I realized it, I was too tired to go back. Anyways. I ran into him this morning, and after talking to him about my intentions to go see him at the convention, he whips two bottles out of his backpack (in my nic level, I might add) and said "I've been waiting to give these to you for quite a long time, now." So I have Coil and Cloud's "Moonstruck" and "Spectrum" to review.

  2. Did someone say "help me spend money"? Seriously, for what you spend on the Vapor4Life kits... you could buy 2 or 3 Kanger EVOD kits, or make the step up to variable-voltage / variable-wattage devices like the iStick 50W, iStick 30W, Sub-box-mini (Kanger), Innokin MVP-series units, or any of the replaceable battery units from Cloupor, Pioneer4You, Sigelei, SMY, Smok, (and many more). Upgrading to a replaceable-coil-head tank like the Aspire Nautilus (and mini), Kanger ProTank2, ProTank3, AeroTank (and their minis), or a more advanced sub-ohm capable tank like the Kanger Sub-tank-mini or Aspire Atlantis... or any of a couple dozen others... will GREATLY improve your vaping experience. A simple iStick 30W and Kanger ProTank2 combo will only set you back ~ $40 (retail), which is 2/3 what you're paying for a Vape4Life single unit! And, the difference in vape is like comparing a bicycle to a motorcycle!

  3. Just a shot in the dark but the Eleaf iStick 20W in the US is notorious for saying one power setting on the display but actually running hotter. If the TECC curve 2 is the same device, maybe you fried the wick in your coil? We've found that if you switch it to the voltage setting, it's closer to the real temperature. Might try changing the juice and coil again, start vaping at the lowest setting. If it's not doing it for you, turn it up a little. Vape. Repeat until you get a slight burnt taste then back it down a notch and lock it there.

  5. I speak fluent Texan along with all the other languages I speak. I lived there for just over 3 years as a kid. If you want to translate their broken English into Texan, I'll be happy translate your Texan into English.

  7. Hey guys! Very glad to be apart of this forum as we all have something in common and we can all help each other out. There are so many details and adventures to vaping and that's why I love it! I started out vaping on a nautilus mini kit and my brand flavor of choice was definitely Space Jam. I knew that if I was going to really enjoy it over cigarettes I would need to go bigger so now for my work breaks I enjoy an Aspire Atlantis 2 with an i60 stratus mod. I freakin love that thing...BUT of course I'm expanding to rebuildables. I now am attempting my own build. I now have an issue... I am using the same i60 battery mod with many safety features INCLUDING (caps culturally mean I'm shouting over the interweb in the U.S.) short circuit warnings. Now this mod is great: 1) Supports sub ohm .2 - .9 2) Aforementioned safety (locking, overcharge, etc,) 3) It's goddamn flask shaped and supports not only sub ohm tanks but also (apparently) drippers Now... I have the 24 gauge kanthal, the organic Japanese cotton strips, and a new atty STRO RDA Mini (Spammy link removed) I wrapped 6 times and watched many videos on how to not screw up... At first the coils fired so that I could tweak with tweezers in between heating. Then all of the sudden... Mod reads "warning short" my atlantis reads ohms and fires the same...back to the RDA...same warnings rebuild coils and even used the premade coils from the RDA box kit still a warning so I've read that perhaps the resistance is possibly too low for my mod to consider safe... should i wrap 7 or 8 times or is it really possible to ruin the atty?

  8. Start by setting your temperature limit to 450 degrees and your wattage or power to about 25 watts. Try out your vape. Adjust your temp limit first before changing your wattage. In TC, your wattage is less critical. If you seem to be hitting the temp limit too quickly, bump down the wattage a little. You will find a sweet spot somewhere in there between 430 degrees and 500 degrees maybe. The watts somewhere between 18w and 30w. Various things will affect it, the juice, chain vaping. You're just going to have to experiment and report back what is happening. Also, read the TC thread. Lots of good tips in there. "Let's Talk Temp Control"

  10. ^^^^ What Earthling said. AND! If you move up to one of his suggestions, the sky is the limit for your choices of e-liquid flavors. I'm currently vaping a luscious cucumber mint right now. Never thought that would taste as good as this does. lol

  13. It is definitely on my list. I was going to pick up another D2, but I may wait on the new Cloupor Mini. I have sworn off buying new tanks until the Cthulhu RTA v2 comes out....of course that could change...lol

It really baffles me why they don't hire native english speakers to translate for them. Advertizements are one thing, but the manuals are just as bad. Of course, they couldn't hire me, my native tounge is Texan... It is rooted in English....but not really.

If you're really worried about it, Wal-mart, Target, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, and other pharmacies in your local area sell test-kits, much like pregnancy tests (which you pee on, or dip a test stick into a cup of pee), which will test the levels of Nicotine/Cotinine found in your urine. Some simple kits only show "positive" if you are above a specific level, usually 200 ng, but test kits vary on level they test for, and their accuracy. The TobacAlert kit tests by "range", from 0 ng up to 1000+ ng of Nicotine. Considering a whole tomato can have 50-100 ng of Nicotine and a whole eggplant can have between 80-200 ng of Nicotine, the level pre-employment tests or school tests will look for are generally 200 ng or lower in your system to determine you as a non-user or non-exposure, but again, that will depend on the business/school requirements and testing facility. Someone exposed to second-hand smokers all day long can have levels as high as 500 ng or higher in their system (and never actually smoked a day in their lives). Generally, to be considered a "user" of Nicotine (cigarettes, dip, chew, snuff, cigars, pipe), levels in your test would be 500+ ng-ml. Pee tests are generally accurate to determine if you regularly use or are exposed to Nicotine. Blood tests and hair tests are considered more accurate, but are also much more expensive. Nicotine is also fully removed from your system in 3-5 days if you are a "user" of Nicotine, but those exposed to passive Nicotine can sometimes take 15 days to fully eradicate Nicotine from their systems (seems odd, I know, but the data doesn't lie). Nicotine also has a half-life of 2-hours in the body, so a peak of 1000 ng right now, would show 500 ng in two hours, 250 ng in 4-hours, etc.. Cotinine has a half-life in the body of 15 hours, so if the test is looking for Cotinine, it will take 3-5 days for your levels to reach non-smoker ranges after your last analog or passive exposure. As you have been told above, 0% Nicotine e-liquids will not show up on any tests, but eating any fruit/vegetable or being around a smoker WILL show SOME Nicotine in your system... and this NORMAL! I regularly vape 6mg/ml juices, and I have taken a Nicotine pee-test... and the levels in my system were between 200-300 ng-ml, which could also be achieved by a non-vaper by eating a tomato and cucumber sandwich, baked-potato, and a big salad containing fresh spinach, romaine, broccoli, eggplant, and tomato! For reference, to be considered a non-smoker/user by my insurance company, levels of Nicotine and Cotinine must be below 500 ng-ml. My son's high school tests athletes for levels below 200 ng, but makes allowances to 500 ng if you have a smoker in the household.

  16. I finally had time to sit down and go through all of this stuf. Not all of this was bought. In fact, most of it was free samples from the vendors at ECC. I already posted about the Coil Master coil kit I picked up in a different thread so that isn't shown, but here are the liquids (and some flavorings) I acquired at ECC last weekend.
