Aspire-Triton
Adversarious1 reacted to cany for a topic
I received my Aspire Triton from Gearbest the other day (won it in a contest here) When I looked at the tank I was really impressed with it it seems/feels very well made. This if my first top fill tank and didnt know what to expect from it, So I took it apart as best I could cleaned/wiped it down and found it really clean no machine oil on threads etc............ Well on to the vaping I used the .4 coil it came with @30W primed/let it sit a bit loaded with Hydra Bones after the first few vaps it really came alive the flavor/vapor were both awesome and that tank full didnt last long Second tank was a ButterScotch Carmel blend Im hooked on and once again both flavor/vape were awesome. Through out the first day I ran 4 tanks full of juice thru it I was really enjoying it and playing around trying to fog out the shop lol, At one point the kid says I looked like a Dragon walking around lol. Im on my 6th tank now and can say The only issue I have had (periodically) was a bit of spatter when taking a hit (could be my juices could be me I dunno) All in all Im very happy with it and its now in my Daily rotation. PROS, 1,Top Fill (Im diggin this) no juice all over me when filling lol 2,Great Flavor/Vape 3,Tank does not got too hot when chain vaping (at least not for me) CONS, 1,The bit of spatter ( once again its more than likely user error the user not too bright) 2,Cant fully dissemble tank for cleaning. Once again Thank You Gearbest1 point -
Some time ago Rixter did a review on Vaping.Watch's "Clockwerks Custard" juice. I decided to give it a try because he made it sound so good (Rixter has a way of doing that). Ordered a 30 ml bottle at 6 mg nic. It comes in a square glass bottle with a separate dripper cap. I ordered a second dripper cap just in case. When the priority box came, it was in a plastic bag that USPS put it in because the box was smashed flat and the cardboard was all wet and dripping. I took pictures immediately before opening it and found the glass bottle smashed to smithereens. Went to their website and contacted them with the pictures. Watch, the owner, got back to me apologizing all over the place. All I wanted was an apology and a replacement for the juice. He asked about the dripper caps and I told him that one was fine, I'd need a replacement for the other. He sent me two 30 ml bottles "for my inconvenience" and a new dripper cap priority mail wrapped like a mummy in bubble wrap. Fast forward to this week. I reordered some more Clockwerks Custard (because it really is that good and a great mixer with other juices). I also ordered a couple more dripper caps because I found that the one I thought was okay... wasn't. Got the order in the other day. They changed to round bottles and the dripper cap was for the smaller round bottles and wouldn't fit the second square bottle that Watch had sent before. I contacted them again. This time, Wrecker75 answered (gotta love their names!). All I asked was how could I order the dripper caps to fit the square bottles? He sent me two for free. The customer service I've gotten from this company and the people who work there has been outstanding! I couldn't ask for better. The juice is amazing... I must try some more of their flavors. Thanks to Rixter for bringing this small company to my attention. I will be ordering more from them. They've more than won my loyalty.1 point

Nothing like a nice cup of coffee and a fresh coil in my vape to top off the day
Bebop reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
It's 12:30 on the left coast and I am still rocking my "weekend daily driver" with coffee. The Sigelei is mostly for size comparison, but it's also what I'm vaping on right now. My "weekday daily driver" is a 32 ounce beheamoth that stays at work.1 point -

Thank you for the post! We're thrilled you like Clockwerks.....that was a labor of love that took us more than 5 months to perfect and we're especially proud of it. To hear such high praise make us all exceptionally happy. Thank you!!1 point -

Posting links to the Vapor Talk store is okay. It's the Vapor Talk store that pays for this forum. To put links to other stores that sell the same things the Vapor Talk store does... is not cool. It's like going to a nice restaurant, sitting down at a table, and pulling out a Big Mac from McDonalds to eat there. Bad manners.1 point

Yep. Always use a separate ohm meter and never trust that the one on your mod is accurate. They usually aren't.1 point

What is the best 18650 battery available?
Earthling789 reacted to jasonculp for a topic
Bebop pretty much nailed it. Any of those would work great. I would like to add, be extremely careful where you buy them. There has been a rash of counterfeit batteries put on the market. The VTC4 and VTC5 are the most counterfeited but the samsung 25r's are both being faked now (25R2-blue and 25R5-green). Normally when a battery can handle high a high amp load, it suffers in capacity. High Amps = Low Mah. One of the safest batteries out there is a LG HG6 it is a true 30A continuous battery, but it will not last long because it is only 1500 mah. On the other end of the scale is the Panasonic NCR18650B. It is only a 10 amp battery that has 3800 mah. Most people find the 25r, HE2, and HG2 to be the best value. They will all handle 20A continuous and have a decent mah (2500-3000). These can be bought from $5.00 - $7.00.1 point -
Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
Earthling789 reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
I finally had time to sit down and go through all of this stuf. Not all of this was bought. In fact, most of it was free samples from the vendors at ECC. I already posted about the Coil Master coil kit I picked up in a different thread so that isn't shown, but here are the liquids (and some flavorings) I acquired at ECC last weekend.1 point -
Let's Talk Temp Control

Ni200 vertical coil in a subtank mini verdict after 2 days and 4 tanks gone and a wick change compared to the same ohm horizontal coil............ HOMERUN! Very little to no spit back like a horizontal coil. Flavor imo 50% better and the vapor production is out of this world. Gonna stick with the vertical coil for a while.1 point -
Welcome Wong Numba You will find we are very diversified group here and everyone is welcome. I think from your description you will fit in very well! I don't know if anyone else vapes NETs on here though. I, like you, and bcartervol98 i am not into the Vape Shop scene. There was an group that gathered at one that was a bit older and I enjoyed that, but it went out of business. I do inadvertently enjoy clouds, but it is just because I like 80/20 and 70/30 juice with very high airflow tanks. I like the thick rich vapor I get from them. I am very careful of where and when I vape because of it. I don't do it to "blow clouds" or to impress anyone. I also love new equipment. If it fits into my categories that I like, I will do my best to buy it. It has turned into a hobby/obsession. I don't know what you mean by a flavor chaser, I do chase good flavor, but I only use 3 flavors. I have my all day vape, and 2 flavors I use infrequently. I don't chase "new" flavors. I really think that this place will be a good fit for you. There are so many good people here, and so many different styles of vapors, and it is such a personal habit, most people here are very accepting of everyone's different choices!1 point

Oh, and I don't like my cotton too tight. A little resistance as its pulled thru the coil, then thin out the ends. im also thinking of modding my sub tank RBA like this......1 point
