  1. It is time that I finally start to drop my nic levels. As of August 24 it will mark 6 years as a vaper. Holy Shit, 6 years of not smoking! I won't lie, I have had a few cigarettes and a couple cigars in those 6 years. The cigars were enjoyable, the cigarettes just reminded me how awful they were. I started at 16/18 mg and it kind of stuck. My initial goal was to step down and finally give it all up. Well...6 years later and I am still vaping the same mg as when I started. I guess I hung with the higher level because I could go 8 hours or more without vaping. But when I got home, I vaped like a freight train. Recently, I have noticed some physical side effects of vaping the higher nic level, like tiredness and light headed. So I decided it was time to try stepping down. My plan is to take this slow and not put myself on a time schedule. A few years ago, more like several, I got my cousin to make the switch. This was when cig a-likes were still the only option. She did it for awhile and went back to smoking and then just quit altogether. Long story short, her current boyfriend smoked, she complained, he got into vaping and she picked it up again. She is visiting and ran out of eliquid. I wanted to visit some of the local shops and see what they had. She has a sub-ohm tank, I think the nautilus. That sucker is so noisy! I wanted to chuck it out the window! But I appreciated the cloud. Anyways, we visited a shop and I picked out some liquid from their house lines. I made a split second decision to pick up a lower nic level, 12 mg. Baby steps. I have been incorporating it into my daily vape rotation. So far so good! I am actually vaping it more, but I think it might have to do with the flavor. The liquid I chose is USA made but not in house. Probably something re-branded. But I thanked them for not mixing in the store and the sales guy had a big smile. So (Rixter), I think he appreciated the comment. Happy, soon to be, Vapeversary to me and FINALLY taking the plunge to stepping down! I really hope I can do this!

    Where Do People Go?

As was stated, summer is a factor. I think B may be on to something though. I think there will be a new surge in the fall as people get back to their computers and spend less time outside enjoying the nice weather.

  3. That seems to be the case with most people when it comes to the PBFB and Hydra Bones. I may have to look into doing a combo coffee PBFB you are not the first to mention that combo.

  4. I'm in the same boat as rainbowtears. Still fairly new and I don't want to over-step what some may perceive to be a limited amount of knowledge based on the limited amount of time vaping. I posted a lot more frequently when I first joined and was still buying new gadgets and juices every other week. I still chime in when I feel I have something to contribute, when I have an opinion or when I have a question, though. I could probably be more active (I do tend to stay logged in all the time, even if just through the Tapatalk app) but a lot of the time others are simply quicker on the draw than I am and I see no point in repeating exactly what someone else has already said. Never fear, though...y'all are stuck with me for at least 228 more posts after this one. Gotta earn my way into that VIP Room

    Where Do People Go?

I try to contribute as much as I can but I'm still fairly new to the vaping community and alot of the time I either don't want to look like an *** and post something others have more experience with or alot of the time I don't get much of a response but that could be my fault not leaving my responses very open ended, but either way everyone I see posting since I've been around seems very nice and willing to go the extra mile to give advice.

    Where Do People Go?

Ha! I did the same thing! I was looking around at the other forums, some new, some old and their traffic looks to be pretty slow. Even the section in Reddit seemed to be lacking discussion. Most of the forums seemed to be over filled with supplier sections. The social areas were small and pretty hard to find. Even took a look at ECF. Wow! talk about a sterile layout. I do wonder if the B&M's are making an impact. Not a bad theory.

    Where Do People Go?

absolutely, and they are all appreciated greatly, Dragongunner, Bush, Rich, and a bunch of others - it's a good group. Sometimes I wish people would just say goodbye so we could wish them well...lol. But more likely they'll just drop in and say hi when they can....

  9. Its not just VT. This weekend I looked around at other forums that used to be booming back in the day and they are ghost towns now.

    Where Do People Go?

Summers have always been a bit slower than winter because people spend time outside and do other activities. That said, the forum really has slowed down even more than usual lately. LIke B said, I miss the banter with some of the "old regulars" we used to see like Troy and Josh. Kitsune and Blucavvy were MIA, came back for a while and now they're MIA again. I also miss seeing Brian from The Veteran Vaper, and Chris used to be more active on the boards. Ah, the good old days... Although, we do have some great new-ish members around these days too like Earthling789, Cany, JasonCulp, Adversarious1... They've been a great addition to our little family.

  11. Hey Comp, this weekend I mixed your PBFB with one of my coffee vapes and it was delicious, I have to say. I've pretty much powered through my PBFB and my Hydra Bones so look for another order coming soon.

  12. Alright I'll get this sub forum started. Here are two of my personal favorite videos: The first is two guys that climb a tower in Shanghai. Makes my butt pucker up everytime I watch it:
