    Cleaned coils

Who said anything about "cheap" vodka, I only use premium, lol. If I'm vaping some of it, it's not going to be rotgut vodka.

    First tank and battery

I cant remember what the tank was called, but it was made by Joyetech. It had a plastic tank insert. You would fill the plastic tank and insert it into the tank holder which had a needle that would pierce the tank. I used this on a standard eGo battery.

  5. So true. Since I bought a cordless drill I've been vaping with a kanthal clapton coil until yesterday. I put in a new vertical coil and my first thought was, "Damn this tastes so much better". Now to figure out the perfect combo for a ni200 clapton. I made one several days ago but couldn't get enough wraps. Being that claptons are so thick I would have needed a lot more coils than would fit in my subtank mini specially if I spaced the coils. I'll figure it out though.

  6. V2 starter kit, 2 cigalike batteries, a charger, wall adaptor, and a bunch of filter looking things. Didn't take me but a week or two to get a ego 650mah battery and a couple of T3 tanks. I still use ego batteries and T3 tanks but not the same ones.

  10. Dry hit? What's that? I just checked based on my old posts the last time I built a new coil was July 3rd. And that coil is not the one I re wicked this morning. So this coil went a minimum of 5 weeks and probably more like 6 weeks before I changed the wick. The only thing I noticed was a slight drop in vapor and flavor, nothing like a burnt taste or a fail.

  12. I hear ya', Bebop. I dig TC, too. I've been vaping my ADV in an eGo ONE 1.8ml tank with the same wick and coil in it for over a month now (trying to see how long I can actually vape on it before it starts tasting bad) and it still tastes and performs great. I can't even tell you how many times I've completely drained the tank by accident, but I never once got a throat-burning dry hit. Amazing.

  13. I am still diggin' TC. this morning I was vaping away and I wasn't quite getting the vapor I was expecting. As I was taking apart the STmini I was thinking 'when did I rebuild this last?'. I couldn't remember, lol. It's literally been that long. This thing has been chugging away for weeks and weeks. No surprise, the coil showed some gunk, more so than usual but I have been vamping tank after tank of one of my sweeter darker juices in it. I pulled it apart, the wick easily slid out of the coil. I brushed off the crud. I wasn't in a place where I could build a new coil. It cleaned up pretty well, not perfect but nicely. Threw a fresh wad of cotton in her and reloaded. Bam, good as new. Fresh taste, great vapor. Back in business in a couple minutes. I'm still really impressed with the performance of these coils. Usually, you know, you vape a week and you gotta rebuild. I'll probably let this one go another while then maybe put in a new coil in a week or two, if I get ambitious, lol. Might even try one of those verticals. 'Course, I will be getting my new RBA bases here pretty soon so I'm sure I'll build 'em up right away. i have no complaints about TC.

  14. My car is 20 years old and has about 110,000 miles on it. Here is a list why I love my old car. 1. It is old, no one will want to steal it. 2. It is a stick shift, good luck stealing it. 3. Small gas tank, cheap to fill. 4. Bright pink color, can't lose it in a parking lot. 5. No car payment. 6. Cheap insurance. 7. No auto, shift on the fly 4 wheel drive. 8. No power steering, great upper body workout. 9. Engine compartment isn't full of all that computer crap, everything is easily accessible. 10. It has an ashtray and cigarette lighter. The downsides to my old car. 1. Soft top, does not stop thieves. 2. No more stereo or speakers. Thank you thieves, may the 20 year old tape deck and speakers line your pocket book. 3. The trim is starting to come off. 4. 4 wheel drive eats gas 5. Parts may be hard to find in the long run. Still cheaper to fix than a car payment.

  15. This is why I'm such a big advocate for DIY. If things do go south, I will make sure people can still make the flavors they like even if they are nic free. I do have backup plans for the day that may put me and others in that position.

  17. Health was the first thing. Smell was next. As a salesman, I hated that I smelled like an ashtray. Cologne was useless, unless you used an obscene amount. Third is the hobby. I love the hobby. I totally understand people like bcarter (and most others) that are very happy just not smoking, and totally respect it. I am just one of those types who always looks for new gadget, or something new and shiny. I am not a cloud chaser, but I do enjoy my SauceCode with a .1 ohm Ni200 coil. It does force me to be a little more mindful of the clouds. I pretty much stick to one juice, but I am likely to change APV or tanks once a week.
