Let's Talk Temp Control

Ni200 vertical coil in a subtank mini verdict after 2 days and 4 tanks gone and a wick change compared to the same ohm horizontal coil............ HOMERUN! Very little to no spit back like a horizontal coil. Flavor imo 50% better and the vapor production is out of this world. Gonna stick with the vertical coil for a while.2 points -

I'm shocked AR is going this route... not surprised about IN though... These states (actually all of them) are hurting for revenue, and until they get the "holy-grail" of vaping taxed as a "tobacco product" accomplished, so they can restore their Tobacco Settlement slush-fund, they are simply trying to regulate/license/fee the "local" industry to death, so they can make "some" additional revenue from the local shops. It has nothing to do with safety, public health, or children... it has to do with the almighty dollar and the government's ability to spend OUR money like blank checks. I know the owner of my favorite B&M, and he's complained that the local government has imposed fees on his business on-par with the local bars. For what he's paying to operate, he may as well have a liquor license! I've said it a billion times before... if the government (Federal/State/Local) actually cared about our safety, we'd be required to wear fire-suits and helmets in our cars, and all cars would be required to have roll-cages! The Nicotine I buy is derived chemically, not extracted from a tobacco plant (or any plants that contain Nicotine), therefore it is NOT a tobacco product, and any laws the deem Nicotine as a tobacco product are BS laws. Nicotine exists in hundreds of plants, fruits, and vegetables... but Nicotine is evil because it exists in tobacco? Yeah, right!2 points -

Sweet-Vapes has been my hardware vendor for several years. I bought a Kanger Subox Mini Kit a few weeks ago for 25% off, and I'm loving it. I'm not a fan of their ejuice, though.1 point -
It may have been out of context but it sounds like something he would say. Hopefully things will change after 2016 but I kind of doubt it. Once you open Pandora's box you can't close it.1 point

It is like Obama said in a speech, we the people need government control because we are not capable of handling our own lives. This is our government today. Micro manage peoples lives so they have full control over us... Can anyone say Hitler/Communism...1 point -

After six months? I'd get another tank and battery. Then, I would do even more research into dripping and what that entails -- do you want to use a premade atomizer and drip the old fashioned way? Or do you want to get an ohm meter, learn all about Ohm's Law, electrical safety, buy organic cotton, wire, torch... ? If it's the latter, please be doing lots of research so you know what you're getting into and how to go about it safely.1 point

I picked these up a pair of LG HE2 18650's yesterday from the local Walgreen's for $5 each, and finally unboxed them for charging a few minutes ago... I didn't realize Walgreen's carried them, but apparently some CPAP machines use 18650's as a battery-backup in case of power-outages (learn something new every day), so they began stocking them. I figured I could at least give them a good try, and from what I hear, they are as good and reliable as my Samsung 25r's, so I guess I'll find out soon enough? (I was too lazy to snap a picture of them, so I "borrowed" this one from Amazon, lol)1 point -

Discovered something about the 1.5 vertical subtank coil, was refilling, and noticed the coil was getting a little gunked up, I ran a pipe cleaner down the center of it, and twisted it around a little, and now its clean again. It might extend the life of the coil if I do that every time I refill it.1 point -

I have really been looking at the Triton. I am just afraid of the the RBA section. I am having a heck of a time building coils small enough to fit in these things (using Ni200) I prefer the flavor I am getting from nickel, but miss the ease of Kantal The twisted Kanthal/Ni200 is working, but wish someone would make a high airflow single coil RTA with a big build deck.1 point -

Well, so much for my so-called vaping 'budget'. Just ordered an Aspire Triton with the optional RTA deck and two 5-packs of the 1.8 ohm coil from Kidney Puncher. *sighs* Earthling, I'm blaming YOU for getting me started on these RTAs. Still not sure if I like them or not.1 point -

I bought a Kanger Pro Tank 3 and some Butterscotch e-juice. Should be receiving it tomorrow. Definitely nothing fancy compared to what you all have been purchasing, but I had only been using plastic clearomizers so this should be a nice step up for me.1 point -

I ordered from Sweet-Vapes on Sunday and had my goodies (with ejuice) on Wednesday. Also, I contacted eleaf to make sure they are a certified vendor and eleaf (ismoka.com) said they are on their vendor list. So, they are selling authentic items.1 point
