  1. Try a Fuzion liquid one time and see if you still say that lol. The flavor is there I just don't like watermelon vapor. When I first started I thought anything I would like to eat or drink I would like to vape but I was wayyy off. Their Watermelon flavors are spot on BUT when I tasted their "Endless Summer" I knew from the first pull I had found the liquid I would use as long as I vape or they stay in business. Their flavors are super complex too.... I know Comp and want to buy from him and he has tried for a year to clone my flavor unsuccessfully. Everyone likes something different but for a high VG flavor I have not ever tried anything close.;...or even comparable to Fuzion. But liquids are one of those things that are so personal and what I love you may hate lol. My wife never smoked a menthol in her life BUT the only flavor she vapes is 80pg 20vg 24mg Peppermint with Extra Extra flavor.....tastes like an Altoid x 10.

Whew... I was beginning to think Bebop's problem really was iPad related. Looks like it was only "Giants fan" related

Okay, I figured it out on an iPad - tap the address bar and it brings up your "favorites" screen. Put your finger on this screen and swipe down. The screen will slide down and reveal the "request desktop site" option. Select the option and the page will reload. Voila! The chat bar appears. adversarious1 pointed it out earlier. I missed the part where you have to move your finger to the "favorites" screen. It doesn't work if you swipe from the address bar. You have to swipe from the "favorites" screen.

Charger... I love my NiteCore i4's. I have two of them, and they just work well. The NiteCore D-series are similar, but have pretty LCD power-level indicators, rather than three flashing lights Batteries - These are the ones I trust, but other reliable ones exist: Samsung 25r (20A, 2500mAh)Efest (35A, 2500mAh) * note, newer 2800mAh have been released, and 2100mAh also exist @ 35A discharge rates*LG HE2 (35A, 2500mAh)Sony VTC4 (20A, 2100mAh) ** beware of fakes **

With my subtank I used the RBA and some 28G wire and made a 1.8 coil, works really well for MTL hits with the airflow turned down. Only need 12 watts.

  6. If it's any consolation, my theory with the Ti is "sort of" panning out. I still want to run the same tests with Ni200 though. Basically my theory has to do with the twisting of the wire. For example, the nickel in a 5 inch section of Ni200 after it has been twisted with kanthal should produce a higher ohm reading than a straight 5 inch piece of nickel because the twisted length actually has more than 5 inches due to the twisting. Hopefully that makes sense. If it doesn't then I 'm claiming I'm tired and on my way to being three sheets to the wind. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I totally agree with Earthling. The 1.2 and possibly the lowest airflow setting will be much better for MTL hits. I started that way, and now I am doing lung hits (be careful, it is addictive IMO). In fact, it will be hard for me to go back. I am cutting my nic down quite a bit, but I am going through a lot more juice (this will be good for Comp..lol)

That is where the confusion is coming in. There is no mobile site anymore. In fact most sites/companies are moving away from the whole mobile/desktop site because it means more to maintain. Instead the site now using one theme basic structure. It adapts itself as I mentioned above to any screen size. The way to see this actually take place is on a desktop computer. When you have time, open the website on a desktop computer. Now when you have your browser window open you can take your mouse to the very edge of the window until two little arrows appear <-> drag the window side to side and you'll actually see the site change between desktop/tablet and phone mode. Basically the menu above shrinks and turns into what we call a "hamburger" menu. It's not that there is a mobile/desktop site anymore just that the graphic interface will transform itself when it notices your screen size shrink. In the case of you iPad you're actually running the full version of the sites graphic interface because your screen is just big enough. But you're still technically running a mobile browser not a full desktop browser. The chat bar is run on separate software (Cometchat) which is set to turn off for mobile users. When a device visits a the website/forum (iphone, windows computer, whatever) it has what we call an "agent". Basically it's like a drivers license for browsers. Kind of. It tells us as web developers what you are using to view the site, allowing us to better code/program the experience for you. In your case, you are visiting using a mobile browser and while technically your screen is larger enough to handle the chat, most mobile browsers are not, the chat doesn't work correctly and thus is disabled for any agent (driver's license) that the site identifies as mobile. The way around this is to trick the site into thinking you're a desktop. And you do that by changing your browser settings to "request desktop mode" or a similar settings. To do that in iOS8 (I'm not sure what version you are running) see this link here: http://www.tekrevue.com/tip/request-desktop-site-ios-8/ Again to recap, you're stuck in the middle. What's happening here is the forum knows your mobile but have a big enough screen to have a full featured menu, thus, the site shows like it would on desktop. But the CHAT which has it's own settings, see's that you are a mobile device and isn't smart enough to know that you can run chat. Thus, it turns itself off. I should note that I'm working on bridging the chat between the TapaTalk app to resolve issues just like this. (Which is how 40% of the users visit us now)

  10. The reason a kanthal/Ni200 build seems to mess up temp readings is because it actually does mess up the temp readings...basically the chip is fooled into a false reading. An explanation in a nutshell: We all know (or should if we're playing with our own coils) that electricity follows the path of the least resistance. In the case of a kanthal/Ni200 coil, the nickel is going to have the least resistance...but only for a certain amount of time. As the nickel heats up, the resistance ramps up. Eventually, the resistance in the nickel is going to match or exceed that of the kanthal, so the power from your battery is going to be diverted to the kanthal until the resistance of the nickel is lower than the kanthal again. The chip recognizes the fact nickel is present, which is why the TC will still basically work. But the presence of the kanthal sort of "throws it for a loop". I'm guessing your temps are actually higher than what your device is reading. That's because the kanthal is adding additional heat when it heats up, but the chip doesn't know how to process the information from the kanthal. This is a very basic explanation of what's going on, but hopefully it will shed some light on both why kanthal/nickel builds work and why it throws temp settings off. I haven't done a twisted kanthal/Ni build personally, but I think I have theory of what is going on. I want to do a couple of test builds before I post any specific information as to why the kanthal seems to raise the resistance of the nickel. I don't have any Ni200 on hand, but I do have some Ti wire. I should get similar results from the Ti. I'll try to get the test done tonight and share my findings. If I can't get to it tonight, then I will definitely get to it tomorrow afternoon.

  11. To be honest...I doubt it is a good home, but I can only hope. I still have one in my "fix it later" drawer that is disassembled, right next to an iStick 20, and my ipv mini V2. I need to get into gear and put some stuff back together. I also gave her one of my best 18650-25R's. I ordered 4 more today. I lost 2 18650's in the last week, one was a new Efest 2800 mah. It has been wonkey since the day I bought it. It finally gave out. The other was the PIF. I hated to do it, but between it, my VaporShark, and my Sig Mini, it gets used the least... On a side note, been running this iStick 40 watt TC mod and I am pleased so far. (3 hours isn't much of a test) I think it is going to be a great, cheap (34.99) beginner TC mod, it is working flawlessly.

  12. Great Vape Mail day! I got some juice from Comp, an iStick 40 watt TC, and a Velocity clone. I was really needing some backups, PIF a SubTank mini, my last Nautilus, a iStick 20 and a Cloupor Mini last night.

    Gear best

I've never bought from them personally and from what I'm reading they sound ok but...I would rather put my money back into the US economy then China. Just my 2 cents

No, you are right on. There is a little bit of a double-edged sword, though. A smaller percentage of smokers are not satisfied with basic gear- egos and clearos. I think the sub ohm tanks help them, especially if they aren't highly motivated to quit to begin with. But the push is on to sell high end gear (read: more than you need) . And I'm not so sure getting beginners excited about subtanks and subohm vaping is great for vaping in general. It moves it out of smoking cessation and in to hobby and fad. Most will find they are only gonna be using a 1.2 ohm coil at 15watts anyway. And some are not gonna like the technique changes that come with higher watts and more airflow and the complication with all the variables and pieces. Honestly, my subtank mini is just a suped up protank. And the dual coil Zeph is too much for most of my vaping sessions throughout the day unless I'm alone or outdoors.

^^ This ^^ I understand the desire to cater to the cloud-chasers and super-sub-ohmers, but for the other 9 our of 10 of us in the real world, we prefer a solid, single-coil option, and replaceable coil-heads in a 0.8 Ohm and higher option! IMO, the explosion of sub-ohm tanks has saturated the market, and those noobs to vaping are not getting good options for flavor and smoking cessation... they're getting pushed into "cloud-making", and expensive gear, which is not appealing, and turns away a lot of potential vapers! My last trip into the most well-stocked B&M locally, I was rather shocked at the selection... three cases of high-end devices, RDA's, sub-tanks, high-powered APV's, etc.... and one tiny selection of Spinners, KPT2's, Davides, Nautilus, coils, etc., and they were pushing the Kanger, Horizon, and Yocan sub-tanks HARD (along with $100+ box-mods, $20/each batteries, and $40 chargers). Yeah, it's more profit, but what is that doing for promoting vaping to noobs? (sorry, got on a little rant there, lol)

    How are my Seats?

Nice seats. Looks like you had a good time! Went to the Rockies game yesterday. We had seats by behind the dugout, got lucky and were just under the deck. The sun was brutal yesterday.
