I cleaned and re-wicked all of my RTA's last night, and only filled my authentic Russians (with my ADV) so they'd be ready to go this morning. This morning, I reached into my tank rack for a fresh tank, popped it onto my IPV, and took a hit... OMG.. (is someone burning feathers?)... Horrible... worst dry-hit in my life... When I looked down at the smoking mess in my hand, I realized, I grabbed the wrong tank... I grabbed one of the clones I had re-wicked last night (the ones NOT filled)! I just took a 1.2 Ohm / 14W drag of pure, DRY, Organic Japanese Cotton!! Moral of the story... don't grab tanks in a dimly-lit room... you might just get an empty one (and now you have to clean it, re-coi, and re-wick... after you stop choking to death)!

Clouds of vapor will always be seen as clouds of smoke. for me personally i vape where ever i want.....out in the open when available and permitted....super ninja when not. People standing or sitting next to me have no idea. However, standing in line at Disneyland, the person behind me couldn't figure out why they kept smelling pancakes(maple syrup) .

I really like cereal flavored and milk in the morning. It makes my milk taste very creamy without all of the extra calories.

If you're getting a burnt taste and your cotton isn't the culprit, then it has to be that your juice doesn't like the temperature that you've set for a limit. Try backing it down to 400°F and bring it up from there until it's warm enough for your taste but doesn't taste burnt. BTW - Although it won't hurt anything, It's not necessary to set your wattage so high (60W) because as soon as your mod hits its temp limit, you should notice that it will start throttling your power back to maintain the temp limit. Also, the reason that TC still works with twisted Kanthal A1 and nickel wire is because current travels the path of least resistance, which in this case is the nickel wire.

I lost count a few weeks ago and decided to find a list to get a head count. OMG! The list I found was huge! It included every party and independent person currently bidding to get on the final ballot. If the people could get beyond the two party system, there might be a hidden gem in that list.

All but one of my Russians have the poly-tank section in place, but my ADV is fairly clear... so a full tank and empty tank look the same if you just glance at them. I know what you mean about the all-steel bodied ones... you can tell when you're getting low because you start to get dry hits on the end of the drag, but if you forget to fill it up, you can get some nasty hits... still not nearly as bad as vaping fresh, dry cotton

I think in this situation it may be because the suppliers who are posting probably haven't paid for the right to advertise in the "supplier classified" section, so they are finding ways around it. DOH! Why didn't I think of the "Report Post" link? And to reiterate, you are definitely included in those I was referring to Comp. I happen to think you walk that fine line between "business" and "pleasure" rather professionally.

Talking to people doesn't always work... sometimes I feel like a preacher trying to convert people to the church of the magic stick... People looks at you like you're some weirdo blowing evil white smoke out of your mouth... something like this ;

White Castle is horrid IMO... we refer to them as "Wipe-Castles"... because I've never eaten at one that didn't give me a bad case of the trots, lol. Krystal has better "sliders", In-and-Out is pretty good, but you can't beat a good Steak-n-Shake burger, or my personal favorite... Rally's (Checkers in some parts of the world)... their fries are fantastic, and their Big Buford is massive (and delicious)!

They were good but it's a lot like veal. Knowing that they're baby calves, I can't eat that anymore. I used to have a calf as a pet so... I don't know why it doesn't bother me to eat beef though.

Couldn't finish watching the first one (I am afraid of heights), it was too much like I was right there. The look on the little boy's face when he realized it was his Daddy on the train was priceless.

Grocery stores sell the frozen ones but that just doesn't do them justice. The fresh ones are amazing! I don't think there are any further west than those in Tennessee or perhaps Chicago? Looks like you need to get out more too, Bebop. lol

I also ate at Shake Shack. Now that burger was awesome!

To me, tapering down is as personal a thing as what setups we use, what juices we vape etc. Initially, I tapered from 18 to 12 to 6mg about every 2-3 months. I haven't gone down any further in the past 6 months or so, and at this point don't plan to. I'm good where I am.

No exact(or not exact) formula, everybody is so different. Personally I can go anywhere from 0 to 18, my only problem with the zero is the lack of throat hit, even when I doctor it up. I never had any particular reaction to cutting down nicotine, my addiction is totally hand to mouth (and apparently throat.) I would think every couple of weeks or so should be OK, you can always keep a higher nicotine level on hand for any bad patches. Sometimes alternating the lower and higher can soften the symptoms BTW, congrats on six weeks! like earthing said!

Hi, Denise, and welcome to VT! Nicotine is not the evil that our government and media like to portray it as... yes, it is addictive, but not nearly as addictive (or dangerous) as the 4000+ other chemicals in cigarettes. Nicotine is not carcinogenic (proven by multiple, independent labs, including the CDC/FDA)! There is nothing written in stone that says you must taper down your Nicotine, but if you do, you do so at your own pace... some never lower their levels, some drop 3-6mg/ml ever few months/years. Some people like me use lower levels most days, but still keep some 18-24mg around for really bad days Nicotine is absorbed faster when it is heated... a tank/coil combo running at 2.0 Ohms and low Wattages will not be as hot as a sub-ohm tank running 0.2 Ohms and high Wattages. This is another reason for keeping multiple Nicotine levels around. When I'm sub-ohming, I use 3-6mg, when I'm using a traditional tank, I'm using 9-12mg, and some days higher. Chain-vaping or casual vaping also affect what Nicotine level you want/need... If chain-vaping, you'll want lower levels because you're getting a constant feed of Nicotine. If you can only vape a few minutes every couple of hours (shift work), then you may want much higher levels, to tide you over between breaks? You'll slow the Nicotine at your own pace... or not at all... either way is acceptable, but don't rush the drop if you are trying to wean yourself away totally... Drop your levels too fast, and your body will crave it, and you'll be drawn back to the analogs, have stomach issues, headaches... basic withdrawal symptoms... such as the mood swing you've already experienced

My favorite place I sat down and vaped at has to be atop Fort Rock in Central Oregon. One of the most beautiful places. I left behind my two climbing partners and took off to a peak by myself for a quick vape. Sat for maybe 5 min or so, and looked out on nothing but flat farm land. Gorgeous.

Actually, YES, several places have banned perfumes and even strongly scented soaps due to asthmatic reactions that can be brought-on by exposure to their employees. I've been in several businesses, hospitals, and even the local health-department with signs asking that you do not enter if you just bathed in your cologne/perfume. And, it is within their rights as business owners to make such requests of their patrons. Just like those that ban smoking, vaping, or "no shoes, no shirt, no service"... I support their rights. Comp is right, we're fighting uphill, both ways, with our loose-leaf notebooks, in the snow... and those 1 or 2% that think it is their "right" to cloud-up anywhere they please are the same few that will cause all other vapers to be treated worse than the smokers... pariahs of the socially-acceptable and just-society! Those clouding-up the grocery stores, shopping malls, and aisles of the local Wal-mart will be the only people our politicians think of when they ban and tax the C R A P out of all vaping-related gear! So, be considerate of others, and be wary of your surroundings when you vape... The "nannies" are watching... always...

Establishments that are Vape friendly will need to up their game and be mindful of everyone. Designated areas to vape and the like. There is a line as vapers and places that allow vaping have to walk or they will loose business. If someone were to come into a place I had and was chucking clouds in a non designated area, I would either ask them to go to the Fog Room or, they would have to not Vape while in the area they were in. We are fighting an up hill battle in some ways and I think people who vape should be mindful of the fact that not everyone wants to be around it.
