    Burns on tongue?

First of all, Welcome to VT! The iStick 20 is well known for over-powering (higher than it's settings, and irregular outputs)... I do not recommend those batteries! The iStick 30 and 50W versions have much better chips in them, and the 50W has HUGE battery life! Secondly, I think you have a combo issue... One is the over-powering of the battery, and two is the fact you appear to have an allergy to the juice... either the flavoring, or one of the "unlisted" ingredients. Stop using that juice today!! The mouth heals quickly... give it a rest for a day or two, and drink LOTS of water! Gargle some salt-water to aid the healing, as well as remove infection. Switch to a juice you know works for you, and get rid of that iStick 20. Almost all of the members here that have tried them have had the same issue... and we (collectively) do NOT recommend anyone use them.

    Caffeine E-liquid ?

Well put Kit... at max strength (for e-liquid), before the nasty Caffeine taste took over... you'd get the equivalent of a 1/6 cup of coffee or two good drinks of cola... in three ML of e-liquid... which means it is not worth the effort to put it in. Just enjoy your Caffeine in coffee, tea, or cola... and enjoy your flavors and Nicotine in your vape!

    Caffeine E-liquid ?

Honestly easy enough to buy liquid caffeine and it does mix well with e liquid, the end caffeine result isn't worth much, can't make the mix strong enough for the caffeine to be of any use. Plus the whole issue of not being processed well by the lungs. I gave up the experiment .

  6. right, but I was thinking even to each coil. I like the large juice channels. As soon as I figure how to plug off the other side I'm going to build a single on the Zeph and see how she does

    Burns on tongue?

I have plenty of regular batteries I can use but they all seem rubbish now I have used this one :/. My tongue is really sore now and It's worried me i think I'll ditch the liquid and battery and go back to what I had anyway.

    Burns on tongue?

It's not the iStick that actually causes it... yes, at higher heat, the nicotine absorbs into the body faster, but from the look of the blisters and staining, my belief is the juice is 80% of the issue. Even regulation won't stop a device from behaving this way... the chip-set on the iStick 20 is MEAN, not RMS output... THAT is the issue with it, and I think the chip does not accurately gauge the resistance of the coll, either... They're just cheaply made, IMO!

  13. Caffeine is not absorbed by the body the same way Nicotine is. Nicotine can be absorbed by the skin, aerosolized, liquid, solid, and is absorbed at 99% rate, regardless of method. Heat increases the absorption rate to increase perceived effects... Caffeine is best absorbed in liquid form, ingested into the stomach, and processed into the blood-stream by the kidneys/intestines. Ingestion has an absorption rate of 99%, but takes up to 45-min to feel the effects. Caffeine gum and sprays are absorbed into the bloodstream through the mouth and throat, but only at the level of 50-75% the rate of an equal volume ingested into the stomach. Caffeine "could" be added to e-liquids, but to get the equivalent of a cup of coffee, you'd have to vape 300mg (or a liter of 33% solution), and it would take 45-min for the effects to be felt. Basically, you'd have to drown in the stuff, and wouldn't get much benefit for the effort
