I'm leaning towards a non contact coil (spaced wraps). I seem to get the best performance with them. I noticed on a contact coil that while they are easier to wick, the coil seemed to change shape after use. I'm not sure if I'm imagining it or not but I put in some "perfect" contact builds (with a lot of fussing - Ni200 is not as forgiving as kanthal and easily bumps out of shape) only to have them seem changed after use, like they're shifting a little on the heat cycle or something. Not absolutely sure about that though. im now playing around with wrapping on a machine screw. An 8-32 machine screw makes a pretty decent but tight non contact coil around 3mm. It's a little more delicate to wick but seems ok and you can adjust it a little easier after its all put together. ive read that some guys are using Ni/kanthal twists and they work for temp control but I'm not that far along on my experiments and not ready to dive in with more complexity yet, lol.

I need to revisit Temp control. I'm spoiled on Tiger coils and think I need to do some builds that give me the flavor I like yet allow me to do Temp control.

The VT store would be pulling in a lot more sales if it was that cheap and easy

European Union directives mean nothing to the USA... BUT, our politicians worship the "wonderful governance" of the European leaders, so I'm sure they'll buy into it and try to pass that crap here. All of the regulations proposed are to limit choice and to hinder small businesses. All of this is driven by Big Tobacco to limit choices to what they want you to have, so vaping will lose it's appeal and variety. It's easy to sell Renault cars when they are the only ones available... and I chose that brand for a reason... because they are so poorly made, they don't pass US safety inspections and aren't allowed to be sold or imported in the US since the mid-80's? Yep, those wonderful French can sure make a car... just like they can make decisions on their elected officials

Your nicotine level is too high. Try a lower level or go with zero nic. If the lower level of nicotine does not work, then try cutting back on the frequency of puffs. Why do you think Juice company's and us that use vapor do not want these laws with taxes to pass? Some states don't even want flavors they just want tobacco& Menthol. Some of these laws and taxes will kill the small sized juice business
