I so agree with that. I can't believe the propaganda I hear around school and the pubs and coffee houses that vaping is worst than smoking. I have no idea where they hear these things but the stories are so ridiculous. Doctors need to get on board with this because it's certainly better than all their other completely ineffective tools like gum, patches, anti depressants or whatever weird drugs they now prescribe. And fun too!

Amps are drawn by the device, not pushed by the source... The iStick requires a charger that can provide at least 1A (1000mA) to properly charge. It will charge with a smaller Amp rating charger, but it will go slow, and it may cause a cheap charger to burn out (too much demand of it). Charging by your car-charger will not damage the iStick, nor will it harm your car, but if the charger cannot deliver at least 1A of power, it may become damaged.

I love my RTAs, but of I had to use a cartridge coil tank for the rest of my life... Give me an AeroTank (or KPT2 with air-flow control base), and 1.5 Ohm coils.

The general consensus today is that pharma grade glycerin (used in asthma inhalers and such and almost impossible for us lay people to get) is the highest grade and deemed suitable for inhalation. The next grade down and most likely what we are vaping is food grade. It is important to note that the only difference between these two grades MAY be the testing and certification involved with pharma grade. Meaning it is most likely that there is no significant difference and only that food grade glycerin, because it is not designed to be inhaled, simply hasn't been certified for inhalation. The absolute two grades that you want to avoid are "farm grade" glycerin and "industrial grade" glycerin. They are less pure and contain other additives or are derived from sources other than vegetable products.

No ingredient list. I have heard some vg is a by product from making bio diesel. But maybe that's industrial grade. I think I'll go ahead and vape it. If I disappear from the forum you will know what happened. Even if something says pure it isn't necessarily true. From what I hear some diabetics use vg as a sweetener maybe its that stuff.

You can charge battery separately or use the USB cable. What exact battery are you using?

Apparently, I'm known as the "authority" on vaping at work A co-worker tracked me down today and told me he was ready to make the switch to vaping (per his doctor's recommendation), before he ended up with the stroke or heart-attack his doctor is predicting for him in the next 5-years, and he heard I was the guy to talk to (which was news to me, since I don't have a sign on the back of my chair, lol). Anyway, he said he had $200 to spend, TODAY, and wanted to get started. He knew prices were going to be better online, and he'd get more bang for his buck that way. He had tried with a basic eGo and Ce4 years ago, and gave up on it quickly because of the poor life of the clone batteries and he didn't care for the hot vape of a top-coil. Sooo... we went shopping (and educating) I talked him into buying an iStick 50W (but he bought two), and he also bought two AnyVape Davides and two AeroTank V2's... and of course a 5-pack each of single and dual-coils for the tanks. All together, he still didn't spend all of his $200... barely broke $150. After work, I took him across the street to the local vape-shop and helped him pick out some juices (he bought 4 bottles (and a sampler-pack)... and the guy behind the counter gave him a KPT3 mini and EVOD twist (clean, used equipment they keep for those in need) so he would have something to use until his vape-mail arrived (hopefully on Monday). I wish more doctors would recommend vaping to their smokers... but at least his doctor has some common-sense and suggested vaping as an alternative (to save his life).

It's not uncommon for juice to leak through the coil and get into the "well" like that... it is normal (to a point). That is also the good thing about the airflow bases, they keep the juice from getting a direct-path to your battery Just swab it out with a paper towel or tissue, screw the coil back down snug and try again. If it floods or leaks constantly, the coil is bad (not likely the gasket). Sometimes if you don't snug down the coil, you get leakage like that too.

I've not found anything on the weight on any site, but two of the sites listed total shipping weight of only 60gm more than the iStick. I doubt that is the total difference in weight because it is probably just a shipping estimate for costs... but we can at least guess it will weigh the same or a tiny bit more than the MVP 2.0, MVP 20W or MVP 30W? Yes, that is more than the iStick, but not nearly the "brick" weight of the VTR or some of these other box-mods

so we have all played with these coils, the question is what rda do you prefer to put them on. Some of the good rdas have some small holes in their posts. Also i like a plain simple coil cause it has the least amount of warm up time, am i mistaken here? What are your thoughts on battery drain?
