Ok now I get it. No I am not subohming and still use my Davide with 1.8 singles but this thing is cool. Things have come a long way since my Vamo V3 lol. Used it since this morning and battery hasn't dropped at all that I can tell and the ohms law conversion on the screen is pretty badass. I'm on board with this one lol. Fits in the palm and pocket rather nicely as well.3 points -
Thanks everyone. It's wonderful friends like you that make the forum fun. That, and it's so rewarding to watch a new vaper learn and then turn around to help another new vaper and so the gift gets passed along. I love seeing you guys hit milestones and anniversaries.3 points

Anybody got any ideas

If you're talking RDA, something I'd love to see would be screw posts like on a motorcycle battery... where the screw "lifts" a block upwards against the solid wall.. where you can get larger diameter coils in the slots, or get multiple coil legs easily into the slot and compress them firmly for the best connection! Bonus points if the screws are Allen-head or wings. I'm getting tired of stripping-out tiny-a##, weak Philips-head screws3 points -
Well, it's been three years ago today since I bought my very first eGo-C pass-through and CE4 tank with a bottle of Orange Cream, Blueberry, and Vanilla juices in 40/60, 24 mg. It took me five days from then to start vaping full-time. After all the times I've tried to quit smoking, I can't believe it was this easy and fun. Discovered Vapor Talk about six months later and met a bunch of great people who have made this journey lots of fun! The folks here have also made sure that my bank account is never too full at any one time too. Sharing information, getting and giving recommendations, spending other people's money... it's all been quite an adventure. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing this journey with me so far.2 points

Not to discourage you, but there are so many stores both online and B&Ms out there these days that, in order to compete (despite having only quality name-brand items), you'll need to be able to compete with low prices. That means buying in large quantities. Unlike many, I'm very lucky to have a great B&M (prices are a bit high), with very knowledgeable and friendly employees in my area. There are also five or six others that sell quality product but the prices are too high. Then, you add online vendors who sell at a deep discount and... it's usually not pretty for new vendors trying to break into the business. You'll also want to be looking very hard at getting insurance that will cover you should something go catastrophically wrong with a product you sold (even if it was user error). With the US being such a litigious society and people doing stupid, unsafe things, it's too easy to lose everything if you don't have good insurance to back you up.2 points

Kinda thinking of starting my own supply online shop

I agree with the desire to offer better equipment and juice at reasonable prices, but I too have looked at the cost of start-up (and maintaining) a B&M... a GOOD B&M, that is... And, I agree with B... the risk was beyond my threshold of comfort. It kills me to see every thrift-store, tanning salon, video-store, and gas-station selling clone 650mAh eGo-T starter-kits (with a Ce4 and USB charger) on the cardboard card for $22... and juices that are the worst of the worst (for $15+ for 30ml)... The good B&M's are few and far between, and those tanning salons and other non-vape businesses are partly the reason new vapers get discouraged with the products. More power to you if you can accept the risk and open a good store-front, offer a good selection of quality merchandise, and most of all... have educated employees that aren't just there to blow vape-rings at customers!2 points -

It's mainly the battery life but the other features are cool too. Once I held a friends at work and saw it was self contained and no 18650s to mess with I had to get my wife and I one. Already gave my daughter two of my Spinner 2s, I love em but don't need 12 anymore. The wife is still on the fence with hers mainly because of weight but I think she will come around. I hope so I'm not using a pink one haha.2 points -

As far as the popping, it's your juice. Some do and some don't. Why, I don't know. One thing I do know is that the fresh juice that I have used hasn't seemed to pop as much...ie Comps juice. Bulk made store juice seems to pop more Imo...1 point

Congrats Tam... I'm so glad you (and others) were here on this forum when I joined... If not for you, and those like you, many of us would never have made the switch to vaping. Your guidance and encouragement would have been sorely missed, and many hundreds of ex-smokers have people like you to thank for their new-found lives... Here's to year #4... and 10, and 20!1 point -

I looked at it several times and came close on a very large scale but at this point there is not a wholesale-supplier chain trustworthy enough and that allows enough margin to make it worth the investment. My brother and I came very close to buying and consolidating four well known online shops but after analysis decided against it. Everyone has different risk thresholds but I would rate it a very high risk venture right now with all the competition and limited markup in product. You would need a very extensive in house made liquid line and very high volume to even be marginally profitable IMO.1 point -
So I used a friends Atlantis 2 the other day,and honestly I thought the whole adjustable airflow drip tip was a gimmick.I was so wrong,it makes a huge difference especially with the .3 coils.Makes it really smooth on the inhale and cools it down quite a bit.ill get one eventually1 point

Not sure what you mean by airflow below the drip tip. Coil must be between airflow and drip tip. I would study other designs and see what could be improved. Remember, todays big selling designs are that way for a reason. The two biggest factors everyone wants are satisfaction from clouds and flavor. Recent pluses in designs: Dual coil RTA Airflow control Bottom feed Sub ohm made easy High performance plug and play coils Temp control Aesthetic design Complaints: Coil life Airflow Flavor Compatible interchange Exclusivity/proprietary design Mechanical function/connectivity I envy you having access to equipment to do this. You could end up making a desirable product with a custom design. Imho you don't have to reinvent the wheel - design around readily had components. Make it pleasing aesthetically. Make it functional with well fitting components, make it east to work on. Just my first thoughts1 point
