  1. I've had my MVP 2.0 for a year now... and still use it several times a week. I think it's been ~2-weeks since I last charged it, and it's been through several KPT2 tank-fulls in that time. Yes, they are bullet-proof function and reliability.

  2. Camping out in front of a small pond in my Grandparents' neighborhood catching catfish all night. Riding our bikes to the "big lake" and swinging off of the rope swing when it's 100 degrees outside. I really feel sorry for kids nowadays. I take my daughter out all the time. And when I say out I mean the phone and ipad get left at home and we go biking, kayaking, hiking, running, walking. Whatever to get her outside. I'm so grateful that she actually likes to do stuff like that rather than being a slug watching TV and playing video games.

  5. Chalk up another vote for the Sigelei. I have the 100w plus and I love it. I use it pretty much exclusively with several different tanks and a couple of RDA's. Same with the Nitecore Intellicharger. I have both the i2 and the i4 and they both perform flawlessly for me. As far as the batteries are concerned, the LG HE2's recommended by Shen are definitely a good choice (I have one pair of the HE2's). Another good choice would be the Samsung 25R's (my personal preference, not saying they are the best or the worst...they just happen to be what I use for the most part) I'm sure others would recommend the Sony VTC4s or VTC5s or the purple Efest batteries. I don't own any of those though. My only other recommendations regarding batteries would be: Buy a minimum of 4 when starting out. 6 would be a better choice if you can swing it. Along the same lines of having multiple PV's or APV's (backups and backups for your backups), the same rule applies to batteries in my opinion. In my short time vaping, I have learned there is no such thing as having too many 18650 batteries. Don't mix brands when using them (in fact, because I'm anal, I actually mark and "pair" my batteries when I buy them). Battery cases...can't forget cases. They are one of, if not the absolute, cheapest safety devices you can invest in.

  7. i think it was a little boy clone in black n silver carbon fiber wrap i saw and it looked pretty nice. Also i saw a hellboy square rda on one with some crazy drip tip but it did look wicked. but im not paying 125 for it, i just wont do it..... I like the derringer on it. for some reason the 80 dollar price tag is holding me back from pulling the trigger on it. But every time i take the tank off my artic to fill it and see just the base and coil it remindsme how nice the derringer looks on the 150. i put the doge 2 on the sig 150 and ran it at 100w no issues with burning lips or chuff getting hot. here is a pic sorry i wrapped mine so you wont get the full look of white on black

  8. No offense, but to me, all you guys from that part of the country sound like Rocky...kinda like how we Southern guys all sound like Larry the cable guy to you.

  9. No apology necessary...I'm all about finding out what works well and what doesn't. It appears that the Xpro M80 has some issues with ramp up time, and even with the latest firmware, it looks like it lags well behind the Vaporshark RDNA (DNA40 board). I'm still trying to find out how the Heatvape Mini compares to the RDNA as that seems to be the benchmark.

  10. I cannot recommend the IPV-mini enough, paired with Samsung 25r batteries and you get a full day of heavy use (two days of moderate vaping). If you want something a bit smaller, the Cloupor mini is excellent (and portable), and it also uses an 18650 battery. 30W is plenty for most users, and most tanks, even sub-tanks. You'll need more than 30W only if you are sub-ohming below 0.5 Ohm coils. For the price, only a few bucks more, the IPV-mini2 (70W) is a great deal, and will give you that extra power when you need it, if you need it later. Either of the IPV-minis feel GREAT in your hand, too.... If you don't want a replaceable-battery APV, the Eleaf iStick 50W is a good choice too. Plenty of power, huge battery life, and capable of firing sub-ohm coils... and you can get them for under $50 (with nothing more to buy).

It is not 100% but close enough that it is considered good. This is the test I use. http://www.eliquidtest.com/

  13. And don't forget... a kid walking down the street with a baseball bat over his shoulder is considered a "disturbed child with a lethal weapon" these days, when 30-yrs ago, he was just on his way to/from baseball practice or the pick-up game in the vacant field....

  14. Okay, I'll step back onto my soap-box.... That's the problem... politicians "expect" that money to be rolling in, and they spend it years before it actually shows up (and rarely does these days because over half the country is unemployed or under-employed). The tobacco settlements were supposed to go for "public health initiatives", but our politicians have played the shell-game and spent 80-90% of the expected money on other things... because it was never about "public health", it was about the MONEY... now they are panicked because people are doing what they wanted them to do... stop smoking... and now their cash-cow of sin-taxes and settlement checks is dying.... and states are poised to default on loans, bonds, and other unpaid projects. Politicians want vaping to be classified as "tobacco products" so they can get a win-win... 1) sin-taxes on the e-liquids and gear, and 2) by classifying vaping as a tobacco product, they can hold Big Tobacco hostage by forcing them to pay-up even more on the settlement agreement. Big Tobacco is forced to push more money to the states this way... which is why they (as an Oligopoly, a legal monopoly) are strong-arming politicians to pass laws to outlaw vaping or at least pass the sunset clause to make all vaping gear but THEIR e-cigs illegal... then they can have the lion's share of the market (to make-up for their losses in analog sales, and provide what the states "expect" them to pay, per settlement agreements). It doesn't take a Master's Degree in Economics to figure this crap out! And, I'm sick and tired of our government spending money they don't have (and then raising taxes or creating new taxes to cover their over-spending). It's a never-ending cycle! Now, if you or I write a check for a $200,000 home (without any money in the bank) and try to use the excuse that "Well, I've got a plan to hit the lottery, so the money will be there in a few weeks"... and see how that flies! But, this is exactly what our government is doing DAILY! I am 100% against any sin-taxes on e-cigs, e-liquid, or hardware. I am 100% against any politician who pushes for such laws or taxes. Politicians like the one in the video should be out of a job tomorrow, IMO! Big Tobacco is threatened by vaping. I say let them be threatened... let the free-market run them out of business, or at least reduce them to a minor force in the economy. But this is not going to happen until "We The People" stand up for our rights and our freedoms... reduce the economic strangle-hold our government has on us... and return our country to the free-market society that allowed us to prosper decades ago. Our government/politicians need to be required to take a few Economics courses... then they'd realize that lower taxes (and fewer things taxed/regulated) will evolve a stronger economy (more jobs, more sales, better salaries), which will in turn provide more raw-dollars flowing into the economy, and thus into the government coffers. Basic math is a strange concept to our government... I would much rather have 1% of $1M, rather than 75% of $10,000! We cannot keep this pace of tax/spend any longer! Pretty soon the only ones with jobs in this country will be government employees... and without US to provide their income, how will they get paid?? Vaping -vs- Big Tobacco is bringing the disparity and hypocrisy of our government's spending policies to light, and we must win! If we don't win this battle, then the war is lost for everyone (not just vapers).... [steps off soapbox]
