US Fire Administration Ecig battery report
Bebop and 2 others reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
Yep. I can relate. Had to sit in bumper to bumper traffic that was almost stopped for 45 minutes today for a fender bender that looked like minimal damage. Two California Highway Patrol cars, a CHP motor unit, a Sheriff's unit and two Border Patrol Units. I have a sneaky feeling there was a partridge in a pear tree lurking somewhere as well.3 points -

This is from last summer and there will be more like it this summer. I can't cook on the pit yet because the dock is not in the water yet and is too close to the pit for a fire.2 points -
High vg/Max vg tanks?
namegame and one other reacted to Adversarious1 for a topic
As with dragongunner, I'm definitely not trying to turn this into an argument...only offer a different perspective. I can vouch for both the LEMO and the Subtank Mini. I regularly run 15/85 juice through both of them. Only time I have had a dry hit on either was when I ran out of juice...and that was a 50/50 blend in the Subtank mini. My LEMO has the stock 1 ohm coil (actually came out to 1.11 ohm on my meter) and I'm currently using the .5 ohm occ coil on the subtank. Now, would I ever try to do a high VG in my PT3 mini, Aspire BDC, or Unitank? No. But the airflow on both the LEMO and the Subtank mini is sufficient. On the Subtank mini, the coils and the wicking channels on the coils are large enough that I personally haven't had a problem. Likewise, with the Lemo, since it's rebuildable, wicking hasn't been an issue for me. But as with everything else related to vaping, what works for some and suits our style may not work for others and their style. That's the beauty of having so many options out there. Whatever works best is what works best for each of us as individuals.2 points -

I don't know anyone that disagrees with banning underage sales (except maybe someone that is underage) or proper labeling and child proof caps. It is things like this that we all need to do. CASSA is a good place to go get all the phone numbers and address for the people you would need to send the information to.2 points -
High vg/Max vg tanks?
namegame and one other reacted to DragonGunner for a topic
Not to make an argument out of this but your statement (because everyone's experience is different) is not entirely true. You state "Any Tank" twice which would leave someone not familiar with tanks that "Any Tank" cannot handle a very high VG liquid or that you have tried all tanks in the market (which I find unlikely). This is very misleading in my opinion. I use a Lemo, a Vox edition v4 Orchid, and also used a Fogger V4 and I only use 20/80 ejuice and I have no problems with burnt hits...ever. Now although I do yet own a sub ohm tank such as the Kanger Subtank mini, I have read and seen many reviews where others are using them with high vg content in their juice without any issues (even the stock non rebuildable coils). For rebuildable coils its all about how you build your coils, airflow, and how you wick your coils. As soon as I get my subohm tank I'm very certain that I will be able to vape my higher VG eliquid through it without any issues at all. Thanks, DG2 points -
Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask a quick question and sort of get everyone's opinion. What health concerns do you have, if any, about vaping?1 point

I just ordered the freakshow. I got in my I stick 50w . I also ordered yet another multi meter to have around as another reference point. I am now debating between the russian 91%, the kanger subtank mini and the delta 2 with rebuild deck. I am not in a huge rush for any of the tanks as I will have my hands full with learning the whole rebuild thing and triple checking myself for safety. The help on this forum is pretty amazing.1 point

I used AT Mega with stock coils on max VG before transitioning to rebuildbles with no problem. The coils just don't last long. I went through one every 4-5 days. It has slightly better airflow than PT3 though. Just sharing my experience for others who may find it useful. Max VG also works well (for me) in Orchid, Lemo, Subtank, Taifun GT2 with no dry hits1 point

Layering Flavors
Earthling789 reacted to Compenstine for a topic
It just takes time and learning how your flavors work together comes with experience, there are no "rules of thumb." Just like making a cake it takes the right amount of ingredients to have a great cake or a flop. There are flavors that over power others and as you find these, you need to back off that flavor. Just to emphasize, if you are making a spaghetti sauce and add to much garlic, that is all you taste. You are on the right track, just think of mixing flavors as you would in cooking with spices and find that "Goldilocks Zone" for the flavor your mixing.1 point -
Yeah, I get a light, natural fruit with nutty notes and an ambient creamy overlay that blossoms on the palate as if saying 'I'm not quite finished tasting so good just yet' - something like that.1 point

Both my Subtank Nano and Atlantis's are juice hogs.i love them both and my RDA's are just sitting on my desk collecting dust.As a matter of fact I haven't used them for a few weeks now,I might put them up as a pay it forward soon.Of course it will only go to someone who knows what they are doing and practice safety when it comes to battery's and checking resistance on their ohm meter1 point

A fender bender in Malaysia is usually settled there on the spot with drivers saying things like oops I didn't see you, sorry, and the victim saying, never mind it's a small matter. But if someone wants to file a police report because they can't resolve on the spot, you have to go to the nearest police officer station because the cops drive right by. At the police officer station you have to fill up form and forms and more forms and have them stamped as official and better yet produce 8x10 colour glossy photos with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back or each one..... but I digress. Then you have to wait whilst they finish their tea and then go to the mosque to pray for an hour or so before they assign fault and then you can go on your merry way.1 point

US Fire Administration Ecig battery report
GeorgeF reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Yeah, it's much worse in CA (and many big cities in other states), where the lawyers have made it impossible for anyone to flush a toilet without three letters of intent, a waiver from your cardiologist that it's safe for you to be pushing the handle, and $50M in liability insurance! Here in KY, (in the larger cities) it takes 4 fire trucks to get a cat out of a tree, but a fender-bender takes 30-min for a cop to show up... an hour later, you'll get 2 ambulances, rescue-squad, at least 2 fire trucks, and half a dozen cops. BUT, in the sticks where I live, you can call the Sheriff before you axe-murder a whole bus-load of nuns, and have time to dispose of the bodies and concoct an alibi before ONE cop shows up1 point -

And on a related subject - I don't know what it's like anywhere else but in California when there is a fender bender you you get 3 cop cars and a firetruck minimum, lol. Just an example of the bloated bureaucracy that can take place. Of course I'm sure there are other factors involved - possible liability and litigation and so forth but it really is approaching the ridiculous sometimes...1 point -

Thanks for the read... and your brother is one smart cookie for knowing the meat of the pamphlet has to do with the possible cause of fire due to Li-Ion battery charging issues... Sadly, the pamphlet is written with a ton of info from WHO, FDA, FEMA, and other politically oriented organizations that slanted a lot of the wording and data to show e-cigs as a demon to be eradicated (or at least sin-taxed). I understand the need of fire personnel and investigators to know the potential issue with Li-Ion batteries, but how does this info assist a first-responder? Other than to aid the propaganda-machine to now blame all fires in the homes/vehicles/work-places where vaping gear is found... on the vaping gear! This is just like how the doctor listed the cause of death of my grandmother as "smoking related", even though she died of passive heart-failure in her sleep at the age of 97 (just because she smoked 2-packs a day). She also drank 2-6 beers every day of her adult life, but they didn't list her cause of death as alcoholism... because that doesn't fit their agenda!1 point -
I have no problem spending more on vaping as long as it keeps me off analogs.I enjoy it1 point
