Okay, this will be my last public pat myself on the back. I've long long since passed the point of knowing I'll never smoke a ciggy again. Been a great ride in no small part due to the guidance and commraderie found here at VT. I want Christopher and all the guys that put VT here and keep it running to know that I deeply appreciate what you have done for me. Thank you. It is no small thing. I was basically killing myself and now here I stand trying to imagine what a pile Of 15,000 cigarettes would look like - the ones I would have smoked if I hadn't started vaping. So, yeah, I'll pat myself on the back today. But it's really a gesture and acknowledgment to those that had the genius to create the greatest smoking cessation product ever and to those who blazed the trail before me and created a path out of that death trap and especially those that keep the trail wide open for the next guy. Cheers!

    Great post!

A friend of mine that owns a shop shared this on his Facebook page and I thought it worth passing on. Very insightful and accurate imo. Credit to Eric Peterson, President of the Tennessee Smoke Free Association for this: "Advocacy vs. Public Belief I am concerned that as this war on ecigs escalates, the real reason for the product is falling to the waste side. With big tobaccos push for misleading, false, and fear mongering tactics, vapers are the new "smokers". So many people come to me now and say "you know those are worse for you than a real cigarette". When they were asking "do those work for you?". With all this taking place I still see a part of vaping moving towards a sport lifestyle, the cloud comps, the "freedom clouds" way of thinking, and so on. (Which I have done as well) Then there are the vapors that you don't see. The people that go to the shops to get their coils and some juice for their starter kit that they have used for a year and a half. They don't come to the vape meets and that's ok. We all have one thing in common here. WE QUIT SMOKING! This is the one and only purpose for vaping. We all are responsible for the public belief. We all are the face of vaping. We are what the public sees. Our actions can confirm or disprove our opposition. A year ago I relized I had to make a choice with how I would be as an advocate. Truth is anyone that vapes is an advocate so how will you represent vaping and the Public Belief?"

  3. Guess what??? It works on a rda also... Unreal to be honest!!! The flavor of a sub par juice from this morning has now been bumped up 5 fold. Let's not even talk about vapor production. I thought my builds at .5 were a joke about a half hour ago. I'm now about choking myself!!! I always wondered how one person could cloud up a room by themselves...I just did it without even trying!!! Had to turn on a damn fan just to see the TV clearly... This is CRAZY good!!! I'm so happy I didn't keep this on the back burner like I thought I was gonna have to.

    Great post!

I do not get mad I just tell them since I started vaping I have: Lost 61 lbs Normalized my BP and no longer am treated for hypertension Off anxiety meds except on the worst of days lol. Used to be 3 a day every day My son no longer coughs or has allergy problems My allergy problems disappeared My MD, dentist and every other health professional I know are supportive My monthly savings are over $400 There is more but they usually get the picture with half of these few benefits I have experienced. As I approach two years in a couple weeks I atill have yet to see a down side.

  5. Lately I've found my wicking takes much more time than wrapping, and installing coils. At times it gets to the point where I find myself nipping single strands of wick. Talk about overkill and a headache. But no dry hits is definitely a pay off.

  6. Guess what day it is! Vape Day Picked up a Apocalypse Mod, Juice from Fadora and Charley Nobel, and last but not least an Arctic tank. This tank is seriously the schit! Huge juice cutouts, large air hole and air flow like a 300 mph gas blower. Comes with a .5 and .2 cotton head, amazing!

Well said bebop.....and bc. My sentiments exactly. My 2yr anniversary is on the near horizon as well. April 19 I think. I have the date written on the pack I have with me sitting in the console so I always have a reminder and something to show those who ask about vaping. I very rarely ever think about cigs anymore, although I did have to dive into the stale last pack a couple days ago. A guest at my house for Easter dinner got a bee sting. Maybe tobacco is useful for something, afterall.

    Great post!

Wow awesome. I agree with him. His "we sre the new smokers" comment is right on and not to be taken lightly. For the last 6 months or so my wife has a co-worker who "knows all about vaping". This guy has been feeding my wife a constant stream of regurgitated anti vaping info. In every case I have sent my wife all of the debunking articles related to all of his attacks which she forwards to him faithfully. Finally, after 6 months he has stopped feeding her this BS. But I'm not betting he isn't spreading this stuff around elsewhere. THis is a real attack and I think we take for granted sometimes that we have it easy because we right now it is easy but the day approaches when that ends and we find ourselves the new "sinners" and the sin tax starts.

  9. You are right Earthling, Not that I don't want the sales... I just know I'm not the only game in town and there are a lot of good juices out there. I may be small but I do know my customers and give them personal service. I do have some flavors that are unique to my business. The Hydra series is one example. Between those the Futti-Tutti and PBFB are my main sellers and worth a try. I may not have fancy packaging and B&W labels but it does help keep my prices down so I can give more time and effort to what is really important, the Juice that is in the bottle.

VapeNW.com has (or had) the Davide full-size for $9, and the mini's for $6. I bought a stainless full-size and two gold-tone mini's last month, when I ordered another Cloupor mini. The Davide are just like the KPT2... no sub-ohm capable, no RBA deck.... and they're not "hot"... like Tam said, they use the standard KPT2 coils. Personally, I think they have a slightly better flavor than the KPT2 (but comparable to the AeroTank, IMO), and a little better air-flow (with the standard bases). I didn't expect to let go of my minis, but a co-worker was drooling over them, so I paid them forward to him... but I kept the full-size!

  11. I don't think Comp will be hurt if you don't, but I think everyone should try a few of his juices... especially the PBFB! That stuff should come standard with a cold glass of milk!

    Kanger sub mini

I finally found after some searching the wicking method that I have described. I tend to thin my cotton tails a bit more than the video describes but I have found it works splendidly. Enjoy even if its a bit long winded.

  16. I agree. I had to coil up a dripper and get my coffee and easter island fix last night. I wicked using some weird cotton I was given. It is an medical grade untreated cotton used for pill bottles. It is strange it looks fluffy like a cotton ball but all the strands run one direction like Japanese cotton. It wicks great all by itself, but using the thinner tails has really made a difference. It probably has made more of an impact in my SubTank mini than it has in the dripper, but it does seem to work great in there too.

  17. Your very welcome Dragon. And thank you once again!!! I still cannot believe how much your wicking method changes things. It is honestly unreal in a very very good way. I have always said less is more. But thinning it out like you showed us is crazy good!!! I still cannot believe how fast it wicks. I could actually see it being sucked straight into the middle of the coils!!! Unreal!!!...lol

  19. Go down to rebuildable atty systems... Then go down to kanger sub mini's... Dragon put up 10 pics with detailed instructions...Dragon did it for a rta and I just did it on one of my rda's... Works like a champ for me!!!

If you're into giving things a try, you might try an Anyvape Davide or Davide mini. They are similar to a Kanger Pro Tank or Pro Tank mini but just work so much better.

  28. A buddy let my try out his Mutation X v2 last night. Loved it. Went and bought a v3 today. Working on my first build right now. I'll be posting additional pics in one of the RBA threads.

  29. I can't believe the price point on this. Under 20 bucks for a sub ohm tank (with 2 coils) is pretty crazy. This might not be a bad backup.

I torch my wire before I build the coil, then pinch and torch them, and then pulse fire them and pinch them again LOL I'm and over torcher.

  33. Picked up a Aqua V2 from local B&M. Shout out to Will a Vape Savvy in Savannah their Mod Master! He bored out the airflows in the deck and added a few air holes to the ring, 4 total. The airflow is MASSIVE and chucks vapor like a beast. The flavor is damn good!

    half & half

I know my car runs better when I'm shifting from third to second, turning on the signal, rummaging around for one of the eCigs that rolled on the floor, making the corner only to find it's rolled in the other direction, meanwhile making sure my beer doesn't careen off the dash, while changing the radio station, and answering the hand phone. Or maybe I'm just not paying attention to the engine?

    half & half

As much as I love the IPV mini and mini2, the Eleaf iStick 50w is blowing them all away for performance and versatility. May need to get another or two... Just saying.
