When I used an IC30s on ego cell, I kept it in my front jeans pocket. Occasionally I would get some lint in the air holes. Not identical tanks, but similar enough maybe it could be an issue?1 point

Signs its time to change cotton & coils
Compenstine reacted to Mirage for a topic
I'm with Tam on this one. If a dry burn doesn't do the trick, just pull the coils and make new ones. Wire and cotton is to cheap to worry with...1 point -

I own several Taurus, and not one has given me grief, although the ramp on the TCP needed polishing when I bought it. I've had $1000+ Kimber and Sig that required service out of the box Taurus has won me over on price and reliability, but more on ergonomics... they just fit my hand like a glove. Comparing my PT92 to the actual Beretta... probably 90% of the parts are interchangeable, and I like the fact that the Taurus version is more accurate1 point -

I don't knock any weapon, I always say SOMEBODY must have had success with a Jaguar, they still make them. The same with firearms, after all we know of one Keltec that fired when needed, RIP Trayvon. I don't like the way Glock feels in my hand. I just purchased a Taurus 24/7 9mm compact gen 2 striker fire for $319, 3 weekends ago at a gun show. Last weekend a put 3 boxes a Perfecta 115 grain ammo through it. The range officer said to be careful of the Perfecta it was an offshoot of Tula. These are brass not steel, 150 rounds and not one FTF,FTE. I like it! Taurus gets a bad rap because they don't do competition shooting so there isn't a lot of aftermarket mods unless you have a 1911 and they had some quality issues a few years back but have corrected them.1 point -

Yes for $80 and a background check in Ga you too can get a CWP. We have open carry but it's worth the $80 in case something 'covers' your holster accidentally. I had an interesting conversation with local PD in Walmart while attached to my M&P Shield .40. The officer was shopping and asking me about it, I smiled and told him I liked the fact that my M&P didn't feel like a handful of Legos as did his Glock. He started the usual Glock owner BS and I invited him to fire mine at the local range anytime if he wanted to see what a real .40 felt like. He obliged and is now a good friend. Needless to say when he fired my Shield with trigger job at about a 2 pound pull and short reset, altered comp spring that gave him the feeling he was firing a full frame 9mm with light recoil and speed sites, he left reconsidering how good his Glock really was. Don't get me wrong, 'most' Glocks are fine weapons but there is a lot a hype.1 point -

351's... nothing wrong with them... I had a '73 Torino in Ice Blue (actually very white) with a 351 Windsor... beast of a motor! I agree, though, the 429 Cobra Jet would be damn nice to have! You can always get the car you want and get a crate 429? Another option would be the 460 with dual 4's... I had that in my Gran Torino Elite... never passed a gas station when my foot was in the floor, but on the Interstate, cruising 65-70.... I could break 20mpg! The nice thing about it was that there wasn't a Camaro, Corvette, or Mustang in the area that could keep up with it As for the SBR, yeah, it sucks to pay to get a barrel shorter than 16"... especially when you can buy a 5.56 pistol without paying a dime extra!1 point -

Oh, my '69 has a few rust holes, and the bed won't win any prizes, but one thing is universally true.... no matter how bad a truck looks, it's still a truck and commands respect A car with a rusted fender means you're not a good owner... a truck with a rusted fender means you've actually used your truck for it's intended purpose1 point -

Okay Tam you are showing your age......(cricket, cricket) My first car was a 1976 Chrysler New Yorker, 4 door, 440 4 barrel. Slow as dirt off the line but would do 120 all day long. The only thing you can buy that long now is a small limo or a pickup. As Earthling said, the seats were big enough to sleep on, COMFORTABLY. Of course my girlfriend and I used them but not to sleep on, lol. I could not imagine trying to have youthful rites passion in a Yaris or Civic.....unless you were a midget little person.1 point -

Nautilus Mini question?
T-Bone reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
The Wattage range will depend on the juice. Some juices will go up to 20W without tasting burnt or even "hot", and some will start to get that burnt taste at 11W. There is no "one size fits all", which is why devices are variable, and why there are so many choices in coil resistances If that juice tastes good at 12W, then that is where you should leave your setting. If you try to go higher, bump it up a tiny bit, try it, bump it again, try it, etc. Once you start to taste a little "burnt", then back off your setting a bit... 0.2W or more, and that is the "sweet-spot" for that juice. And, yes, pushing any coil at high wattages will shorten their life-span, but also, it depends on the coil...1 point -
Mt Baker Vapor Sweet Cream

I don't really understand why companies don't steep on their own time. We should be able to vape out the mailbox. I recently bought "sticky bun" and it taste like Straight vg. I let it steep to get full flavor and not luck it stayed the same. Just ended up giving it away. That has to be the last time I buy from Mt baker.1 point
