    Vape catching fire

Sounds to me like your coils are not balanced (same resistance on each side), and cotton bursting into flames is almost unheard of, unless the cotton was extremely dry, which should not have happened unless your "few drops" didn't reach that particular piece of wick. Pull both coils, and trash them. Rebuild two new IDENTICAL coils of twice the resistance you are targeting... if you want 0.5 Ohm from your RDA, then you must build two, identical 1.0 Ohm coils. Ensure they are seated firmly, and the screws are TIGHT. Then, most importantly, use your Ohm reader (if you don't have one, you need to get one, yesterday) to read the resistance and check for shorts before placing it on your MOD and firing it. Test-fire the coils to ensure proper burn (inside > out) and tweak them with tweezers until you get the proper burn. Do this BEFORE you add wick and attempt to use it. Safety First... safety second... safety always!

  5. Irish diplomacy at it's finest right there^^^ Well let see, I read the entire thread. So for my money well spent I would suggest the istick 30w or 50w with a large capacity tank 2.5mL or bigger. Ones that come to mind off the top of my head are the Aspire Nautilus either size, mini 2.5mL and the full size 5mL. Or the Aerotank by Kangertech, those come in many sizes. The Aero Mega is 22mm diameter, the capacity slips my mind at the moment. As far as devices that are higher wattage, just because its there doesn't mean you will always use it. I currently use an istick 50 with a Kayfun v4 and lite plus. Both of those tanks are RTA's and have a 1.4 ohm coil and I run them no higher than 12w. My Nautilus and Nautilus mini have 1.6 ohm BVC coils and I usually run those at 10w on the same iStick 50w. I also have a Tugboat RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer) running on a Sigeiei 100w box running a dual coil build at .5 ohms and 50w. I use the iStick mostly because a full charge will last me about 2 days running 1.4 ohms at 12w. Hopefully I did not add to the confusion.

  6. You make a good point, Comp.... not about Tam being picky, lol... we already knew that but you have indirectly understated the the reason there are 50,000,000 different flavors and intensities of flavors from hundreds of thousands of different vendors... I knew every palate was different, but when two people say they want 10ml of "Strawberry", and you mix 20ml then pour it into two 10ml bottles... one person says it's too strong, one says it's too weak (and not sweet enough) Now I know why you mix most everything "to-order", and I envy your experience and knowing what your clients like, too!

First time DIY was a disaster

Got all my stuff to make my own juice today and it didn't turn out as planned.i used a calculator and measured perfectly but the flavor is really bland...any tips would be greatly appreciated.Ive always had respect for people who do this but I have even more respect given how difficult it really is.

    ONLY Pharmacy Compounded Juice

There is nothing special about pharmacies that Ive seen. No clean rooms etc.. Just a tech in a white coat filling bottles on a counter open to the store.

  9. I'll toss you a bone Tug... As a rule do not go below 20% on any flavoring to start, except Tobacco flavors. On high VG mixes that rule changes to 25%.

  10. Interesting? I was thinking expensive. I bought a Subtank, like it so much I bought 2 more. Then a week later the mini comes out with better airflow....NOW the Subtank has a version 2 that's even better!

  11. Oops, sorry I'm thinking of the eLeaf 30W. These damn companies come out with a new toy every week. Disregard my statement, except that you will scorch a Subtank head over 30 watts.

  12. I got the black and hot pink. Then, I bought two different purple wraps to cover them with because the original is a little to slick in the hand for my comfort. I can just imagine me dropping these things. If I get into a spending mood, you'll be the first to know, George.

  14. Jacob24, unfortunately, your Blow EZ pen isn't an upgrade from what the OP currently has. They're using an eGo-C Twist, which is a variable voltage battery. That's a step above the fixed voltage battery you have. Also, the iClear 16 tank is a better unit than the top coil T2, imo. It was nice that you were trying to help, though.

When changing a coil, I make sure to clean any juice inside the base where the spring is with a paper towel.

    The Clapton Tool

I was intriqued by this and finally made a couple claptons today because of your post. didnt have a pipette, but I found just filing a small notch in my thumb and forefinger nails made it pretty easy. but I think I know where I can find pipette's at work and plan on trying this next week. Now Im wondering if I can make a clapton small enough to fit in my subtank mini rba deck... Hmmm..... And no, thats not cotton candy!

    Natulis Mini help

There is an oring on the atomizer, a new one comes on each atomizer. At least every one I've bought does. Never had an issue with leaking in the 3 months I have had mine. I keep it in my shirt pocket on a VTR most of the time.
