  3. You rang? I'd like to get some feedback from the members before creating a new section. Why not just post in the classifieds section with the bracket title [trade] ? Example in the classifieds section we have [buy] Looking to buy xyz [sell] looking to sell xyz [trade] and son on... Thoughts?

  5. That's the way we do it in the Texas Panhandle! It is so flat and no trees, we can see for miles, so we know which way to run. I was just watching the weather and told my wife "I bet Hooker is getting hammered (by a storm)" Stay safe!

  8. The burnt taste you're getting from the Nautilus is because the coils are not really designed to handle "massive Wattage", and your juice also has limits on how far it can be pushed. Some juices just taste best at 8-10W, regardless of tank or coil resistance, and some juices taste like wet socks if you sub-ohm (below 1-Ohm resistance), regardless of the Wattage. The suggestions above are good suggestions... I will say that the iStick 20W should be avoided, and go with the 30W or 50W version for better vaping experience. The KBox you have is perfectly suited for the Kanger Sub-tank or Sub-tank mini! Tanks are subjective... Everyone has their favorite or preference, and you'll get dozens of opinions, but at the end of the day, what works best for you is what you should be using And, what works for you today may not be your preferred set-up six months from now... that's the fun of the "hobby" side of vaping... all those shiny new toys! Enjoy the pursuit!

    Chargers

I have two Nitecore i4 chargers (not digital), and they are work-horses... I've not used the digital versions from Nitecore or Efest, but many of the members here have them and say they are reliable. I'm of the mindset that the more bells and whistles there are, the more that can go wrong, so I tend to gravitate to "simpler is better" (and cheaper, lol). Amazon is my source for best price on the two Nitecore I have purchased... both were purchased for < $15 each. You should check there to compare prices with other online retailers. Avoid eBay!

    Question

I noticed this a few months ago... I was vaping 18mg right up to bed-time and had restless sleep and woke up with headaches (Nicotine withdrawal). So, I started vaping 12mg in the evenings, and switched to 3mg or 6mg about an hour or so before bed. I slept MUCH better through the night, which also meant that I was able to achieve the same "rest" in fewer hours. Now, 5 or 6 hours of sleep feels better than what I was getting in 8! Also, your hydration level is paramount to a good sleep, too... be sure you are drinking enough water, especially before going to bed!

    Question

my method might not work for everybody,, a higher nic level can/will upset your stomach if a particular method doesnt work after a couple of nights change it up a little & try again...

  12. I am also really enjoying my Sub Tank MIni. I am running a .9ohm coil with Tiger Wire and it is great. I am running it on the middle airflow at 20 watts. It has great flavor. It can be a bit hot though. The 1.5 ohm @ 15 watts on the small hole was a bit cooler, and had a bit better flavor, but I am liking in at 20 watts a bit better (hotter with more vapor) I am running a 70vg/30pg 24 mg fruit flavor in it.

    One Year

One Year Today. Just a personal goal; a milestone for a long time smoker. Realize that I haven't been on this site for very long. When a person makes the decision to quit, they sometimes reach out for support and help from family and friends. They also might jump on the internet and do a search for a forum to gain some help understanding this thing called Vaping. Just wanted to say that this site is always ready to help in a friendly way. My thanks to those who take the time to answer questions that they may have heard 1,000's of times before. They remember when they started. Happy with my gear so won't be getting something new to celebrate, but I will have a smile all day.

    Question

Well I try to look at it this way. When I was smoking and woke up I had to make the decision to either get up, put on something that won't shock the neighbours, go down stairs, disable the alarm, open three locks, try to keep the dogs from getting excited, and convince the cats it wasn't yet breakfast time, and smoke. Or just watch a boring youtube video and fall back asleep. The smoking won out more times than I care to admit Now I don't wake up as often as when I smoked, but I now put on the boring youtube video and take a hit or two and pass right out again. I'm continuously using 18 mg nicotine because that is mainly what my supplier in Sarawak has in stock.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Coffee flavors usually like a slightly higher temperature. Start with the 3.8V and try going up in tiny increments. Back it down when you get the slightly burnt taste. Did you say how long you've been vaping? During the first weeks (could be months), your tastebuds are changing/healing, so things will taste different or not at all. With vaping, it also helps to exhale out of your nose and mouth to get the best flavor. Another thing to keep in mind is that you'll stop being able to taste one flavor if you vape it too long. Most of us (with bcarter being the exception), change flavors several times during the course of a day just to keep things fresh. Go from the strong coffee flavor to a tart candy flavor or a mint or something pretty different. Keep in mind that coffee is a pretty strong flavor so it may need something equally strong to get your taste buds back in line. Also, inhaling the fragrance of ground coffee helps to reset the taste buds too. Just don't snort it.

  21. Had to add the labels myself. This must be from a first run. Others I have seen have the sizes already marked on them. This is one of the coolest tools I have bought.

    Ejuice Mixer

Interesting... I would have never though of that. I already have a stir plate that I use for making yeast starters for my homemade beer and I'm gonna have to give this a try!
