Someday I might move to the 'Dark Side'; having too much fun with the Russians and such right now. I even set up for a Stainless drilling party, but didn't need it. Cleaned the drill press up, cleared the work bench and found all kinds of 'missing' stuff, so not a total waste of time!2 points -
Hey Nate,I know it's tough sticking to vaping we've all been through it at one point. If you want a great mod I highly recommend an Istick 50w & a Subtank mini or Atlantis. The Subtank comes with a 1.2 ohm coil and a 0.5 and the Atlantis comes with just a 0.5.You can't go wrong with either one.the istick 50w is an excellent device it has a built in 4400 mah lipo battery and it has more than enough power. If you shop around I know you can get these things for what you are wanting to spend2 points

I've been using a kanger protank3 (0.8 ohm atomizer) with an aero base and a itaste vtr with mt.baker 24mg 50/50 juice. This has become less and less satisfying. After nearly a year off analogs I have broken down a few times on days when my ecig was acting up and smoked a cig or 2. I am on the edge of giving the whole ecig thing up. I really think I need to upgrade. right now I am thinking about a kanger sub ohm and a higher wattage device. I don't have a ton to spend as I am on a fixed income. My budget is about $100 a month including juice. I am hoping to find something with bigger vapor (and nic) that is reliable and affordable. I know $100 isn't much, but I was thinking I could buy a setup in 2 parts and split it up over 2 months. Any advice would be great. What kind of setup do you think I should get. Is there other upgrades I could do now to get me through until I can upgrade. Are there any other things I should consider. It's been a while since I have posted on this forum, I welcome any advice. Thank you, Nate1 point

I just saw this on taste your juice's blog: By pbusardo on 22 March 2015 in Recent News with No Comments Ok folks, thanks to the wonderful advocates we’ve found out the CA Dept of Health is about to unleash lies and propaganda against vaping. We are getting a jump on them. We might not have the millions but we have passion! Let’s amplify this website to counter their fear-mongering! In other words SHARE SHARE SHARE… and… SHARE!!!! http://notblowingsmoke.org/1 point -

In two years of vaping you are the first I've heard complain of this. Smoking has always been bad for teeth and gums. I am assuming you have a history of smoking. I can't imagine why or how vaping is the source of your problems. You should go see a doctor (dentist).1 point

Used to have a gold top LP.....til some ahole decided he wanted it too, without asking. I don't wish ill will on many people but him. It was my first real guitar bought with sweat and tears. The good news, it didn't stop me at all and the list of guitars after that has grown....1 point

My youngest has my guitar right now, since he plays more than me. Nice thing about living in 'NashVegas' is the pawn shops. Shame that some people still move here to make it BIG, then hock their instruments. Have wanted one of these for 50 years, ever since I saw one on the back of a Ventures album. Someday, I should get a copy. Just something a Junior High kid would dream about back in the 60's...1 point

When California puts out anything to discourage vaping I'm very suspicious that they really don't want anyone to quit smoking. They get too much tax money from the sale and continued sale of cigarettes. Not so with vaping gear and e-liquids. Thanks for the link, Jason.1 point -
When Zak Wylde first came on the music scene I remember how everyone went nuts on his sound. That kid could wail. I can see why you miss that one.1 point

Don't' hang your head in shame over the trigger of driving and smoking... we've ALL been there! Especially, if you have more than 30-minutes of commute or if you drive for a living! I had to make the conscious effort to ride my motorcycle more often so I would not have the urge to light up every time my butt hit the seat of the car or truck I agree with Tam on the Anyvape Davide mini or Kanger ProTank2 Mini (or protank3 mini)... they're small, easily portable, and function very well. I recently bought two of the Davide minis (because they were dirt-cheap), and am VERY impressed. They have much better flavor than I remember my KPT2minis to have. I still like my KPT3minis, but they use dual-coil... and I like the look of them1 point -
10 days in at this tank is the schidt! Wish it was a 25mm tank to hold a little more juice but the cloud/flavor combo is outstanding1 point

I am in total agreement with you. I am not a scientist either, but I am extremely curious. The ones we took apart we put into a calibrated oven we use at work to test polymer flashpoints to help determine what they are. One of our counter guys had been warned about sucking silica from a local guy that hangs out in the vape shop... So he went and got some new coils. You could see visibly that the material was cotton, but he thought it might be blended so he stuck it in the oven. At 450 degrees the cotton was black and smoldering. We sell silica blankets and tapes for that is used for industrial applications it is good for 1200+ degrees and it will not even discolor at 450. I shouldn't go off like that, but it upsets me when people on the internet (not you) like to spread fear. I am glad they inform us that their could be hazardous materials in the coils, juice, wire, ect. I don't like when they take other studies and try to make them fit our applications. From what I can find there has been no real studies that replicate real world conditions that we vape under. If someone thinks something is not safe, don't use it. If someone thinks vaping is dangerous quit vaping. I know for a fact that my health is much better, and I feel better than when I smoked.1 point -

I'm a Database Admin, SQL developer, reporting ninja, and part-time website designer for a Fortune-10 tech company. I also build/repair computers, rebuild/restore/ride motorcycles, and dabble in woodworking (when I have the time). I'm a far cry from what I went to school for... Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Math/English and nearly completed a year of Medical School before I came to my senses I did love working the ER and Maternity (delivered six, including three of my own), but knew I'd be miserable the rest of my life if I stayed in that line of work.1 point -

I am a nurse. Been one for over 40 years. The bulk of my career has been working with senior citizens in a nursing home/assisted living facility. I have worked in many of them. some good, some not so good and a couple that were absolute hell holes (didn't stay in those very long). The one I'm at now (and have been for almost 3 years) is one of the very best in our area. I dearly love "my" residents as do most of my co-workers. The hubby works in housekeeping in a local hospital.1 point

Well I am the queen of the castle, typical stay at home mom. I keep my 2 yr old niece full time which is a big job in itself right now. I have farm animals I tend to everyday....goats, donkeys, geese and a pot bellied pig, all very much loved pets plus 2 very rotten dogs. I still manage to run the lives, or try to, of my 25 yr old son and 20 yr old daughter, lol. They don't complain. We a close family. My husband of almost 32 yrs works for a major natural gas pipeline and is out of town quite a bit. I'm very thankful to have been able to raise my kids at home and now can be there for Shelby. I've been very lucky to have such a great job! Deanna in middle Ga1 point -
I have heard this and many other misconceptions about vaping. The niece that got me started...quit vaping and went back to smoking because vaping causes cancer.... (she is not too smart and neither are her friends) I am pretty sure that vaping will cause your babies to be born naked though, sorry.1 point
