  3. I was leaving a B&M yesterday and noticed a cpl almost walk into the store but then turned around and left. I started a conversation with them in the parking lot and basically they got intimidated/turned off by the huge fog that was present. I do agree it was a bit ridiculous. I basically also went in and got a juice and then left. I would of loved to check out the display cases for any new arrivals but figured another time. I understand B&Ms hire college kids; there friends hang out and try to out do each other with cloud banks and what so ever. I am sure it even generates some sales. Of course they have also offered good information when i ask a question or two and the sales kid didn't know. I am in total support of being able to vape in public, especially a vape store. Perhaps a ceiling fan or air purifier wouldn't be such a bad idea to have operating in the store.I can only imagine that yesterday's experience is not a rare phenomenon. P.S. The couple followed me 15 miles down the high way where i brought them to another B&M that is operated by a husband and wife team. Introduced them and left, hoping we have two new members to our community.

I had the same issue when I first started vaping a month ago... I had bought 12mg juice to start with comming off about a pack a day with a few pipes and a cigar or two mixxed in... it was cough city for me. Using a Nautilis mini and a Vision Spinner 2. how I got past it was I would start dragging on it (puffin, sucking, pulling??) and not hold the button down. I would do a normal drag as if it was an analog and pulse the button. so out of a 5 second drag I would go 2 seconds with no button, then button for a second then no button for another two seconds. Or I would tap the button a few times per drag. but I would always have to start off the drag with no power. this way it wasnt a big hit of vapor. after a few days I could hold the button the entire drag. Also as has been said the flavor and type of juice played a big part in my coughing. I found that the cream type flavors did not induce the coughing as much as say fruit or heavy sweet flavors. Milk and honey is a local mix from my shop and it just tastes smooth and has no throat hit for me. Granted now I am using a dripper on a mech mod but that was the tricks that got me past giving up on this.

  6. @ earthling - those are the exact reasons I don't go to other shops. It's annoying to say the least.

  7. The B&M I frequent most often just moved and opened a real juice bar, and there is an air-intake above the bar and the "lounge" area, which makes pretty quick work of the clouds the "kids" are attempting to produce It can get a little thick at times, but never lasts long... I think the college kids are always trying to out-do the fans... and more power to them! They're not bothering me, or customers... and they're always respectful of customers. My gripe is not with those cloud-chasing at the bar or in the lounge... mine is with the employees that can't seem to stop sucking on their drip-tip long enough to actually SPEAK to a customer or answer a question, or can't put their device down long enough to use BOTH hands to do something! The guy that was attempting to help me last night probably drained half his Atlantis in the 15-min I was in the shop! He literally stood in front of me and took two huge hits before saying "umm, yeah, what can I help you with?", as if his next vape was far more important than the customer in front of him... and perhaps he could have done his job better/faster if his Atlantis wasn't the only source of life-nourishing Oxygen in the room? And, no, he never sat it down once... he did everything one-handed! Last week, I stopped in to get juice, and the lady couldn't carry FOUR bottles of juice to the counter at the same time, because she wouldn't set her Sigelei box-mod down, and use both hands to carry the bottles (or even use two hands to put the bottles into ONE hand, then pick up her mod)... she actually made two trips across the back-room to bring the juice to the counter A couple of workers don't even have a free hand... as they are trying to drip and wait on customers... and they have to stop every 10-seconds and add a few drops to their rig... vape a few hits... and then repeat... I can only assume they are NOT paid on commission At least these guys are usually at the bar, so they don't have to go far to help someone. Seriously, I think every employee in the building is required to keep a piece of vape-gear in one hand at all times? It would be comical if it weren't so frustrating....

Looking for advice on a new PV

So, I've been vaping on this all day today, not using any other battery and it still doesn't show much battery use. I'm getting suspicious that the battery indicator isn't working...

Yeah and I thought this was gonna be simple. Boy was I mistaken. Just for kicks I put my nautilis on my evod and it did make a difference. Guess its not as simple as power on/off. Its all good though I like to tinker.

  14. Jason. Seriously. You need to try the iStick 50w, it's incredible! I can't believe how light it is, the problems with the iStick 20w have all been resolved and then some. I've been vaping on mine nearly continuously since it came in (once I topped off the battery), and the charge indicator still looks full with hardly any use showing. It's been almost two days now with very little switching to other batteries. You neeeeeeeed one!

    Ejuice Mixer

Nice. I have been wanting to do this for a while. I have a lot of old PC's laying around. I was going to use a PC Power supply and do one that can mix 4 at a time.

  16. It's a common misconception that higher (or lower) resistance (or Wattage, or Voltage) will affect vapor production in some huge fashion. Lower resistance coils operate hotter than higher resistance coils (considering same Voltage applied to them), because lower resistance coils will draw more Amps. Higher resistance coils draw fewer Amps, and therefore will prolong the life of your battery. Higher resistance coils also take longer to heat up (and longer to cool down), compared to lower resistance coils, which is why chain-vaping with high resistance coils is not desired, because it will heat up the atomizer/tank/juice. Study Ohm's Law a bit more, and you'll begin to see the relationship between Resistance, Voltage, Wattage, and Amps. Simply throwing more Voltage or Wattage to a coil does not make it produce more vapor or more flavor... there is a delicate balance between the variables, and it will not be the same for every person, every tank/RTA/RDA, every battery-device... because every person's tastes are different/unique, and we all perceive juice flavors differently. So, the short answer, no.. using a higher resistance coil will not give you more vapor. As I said above... VG content of the juice is what determines the potential for vapor production. From there, it's a balance of power, surface-area, heat, volume, and air-flow... There is no magic number of "use this juice, this ratio, this device and get max flavor/vapor"... if that were the case, there would not be thousands of different devices/juices on the market....

  17. Triangle Vape has the SmokTech Xpro M50 65W Box Mod from for $46, and the Efest 18650 2500mah 20A/35A IMR battery for $7. No need to buy a charger for the 18650 battery because the Xpro charges through a USB port and comes with a cable. Shipping is cheap & fast, too. I've had mine for a couple of weeks now and it has really impressed me.YMMV.

  18. I was digging around today and found them for $29.99: http://vapenw.com/box-mod-20w/cloupor-mini-30w I have bought 3 mods from them and have had excellent luck! I have been digging around to find an enclosure to put a DNA 25 in. I am stuck between the cloupor mini and a VS DNA30.

  19. FYI, CVapor.com has the Cloupor mini (30W) for roughly the same price as an iStick 20W, and they are only a few millimeters larger than the iStick. Granted, they require a single 18650 battery, rather than being a self-contained unit like the iStick, but it may be something to consider?

  20. To add to what Bebop said you want High VG juice as well. This will give you the vapor production your looking for. I have been told that my Spiced Apple with a little tobacco flavor works well for Cigar and Hooka substatue. I can also do that flavor in a very high vg.
