  1. I assume DC is so high because all the politicians have access to the best health care available

  2. Our company use to give out American Express gift cards to interns as a "pat on the back". I brought it up to HR many years ago, that these 16-18 yr olds couldn't get an AMEX on their own at that age, and we were promoting (or at least enabling) underage purchases online by giving them gift cards that could be used as CC (and re-loaded like any pre-paid CC that would otherwise require age-verification). HR agreed, and after that, they received actual (taxable) income, or corporate-logo merchandise. We don't even give out Amazon or Wal-mart gift cards to anyone under 21, just in case they were to use it to purchase something "adult".

So I joined VT 5 years ago and I have to say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! There's no way I can fully express my thanks to Christopher and many others here for the help and support they've provided. All the fun I've had with Birddog,Jeffb,Mark and all the folks who used to stay up all night in chat BS'ing on vaping and any other subject that came along is priceless. I still miss seeing posts from folks like MiataFrank,Brian,Snubber,Uma...Oh and one of my all time fave trolls is back too: Hi Dayvape Vaping really started out as a hobby for me,always lookin for the next PV or the search for a coil that would last indefinitely lol. I never was a cloud chaser and sub-ohming holds no interest for me,Building coils is beyond my patience and skills too.I have made a few nice mods that I still occassionally use though. These days the hobby aspect has kinda dimmed and I just use vaping as a habit replacement. Mainly I use Boge or Smoktech cartos in a tank with Spinner style batts.Convenience is the main thing I look for now which is why I still sometimes use cigalikes.Greensmoke are my faves in this area. The message I have for any smoker who wants to get away from tobacco is:VAPING WORKS If you give it a chance and learn some basic safety guidelines it can be a life changer! My thanks to all the newer members who've stepped up to offer help and advice to any who ask,and for giving them the technical and safety info they need to make this work. Yall Rock! Yeah I know this was rambling and long winded,us old folks get that way sometimes BTW any suggestions for a tank or CE style clearo that is not a juice hog,has inexpensive, long lasting replacement coils and is hassle free as to filling, maintenance etc. would be wonderful Thanks Yall.

Comp. Thanks you have gone the extra mile at every turn. Its clear why you are so well respected here. Thank you. Tam, I will look into other sources. You are always helpful. Thanks. Johnny, It has been suggested and I have tried all the settings. I find lower voltage helps and more air is worse. Thanks for the reply. Mirage, I have also found I can handle a little more power after I been in the garage with Mr, Bacardi fer a while. I am down to 4-5 analogs a day from 20...so thats huge. Thanks everyone who replied.

  6. Idiotic pap for the sheep. They can't advertise cigarettes, so tear down the alternative. I would be very interested to know where the funding/sources for these smear articles come from.

  7. They're so small that when I take them off the batteries, they tend to get misplaced. A lot. So I get back ups. And back ups of back ups and so on.

  9. Jason. Seriously. You need to try the iStick 50w, it's incredible! I can't believe how light it is, the problems with the iStick 20w have all been resolved and then some. I've been vaping on mine nearly continuously since it came in (once I topped off the battery), and the charge indicator still looks full with hardly any use showing. It's been almost two days now with very little switching to other batteries. You neeeeeeeed one!

You can take out a wall and mix your E-Liquid all in one step. LOL

  11. I ordered mine late Friday, early Saturday, so it shipped today. Expected delivery on Wednesday (if the weather holds). I've ordered things from TN before, which went to NC, VA, PA, OH, IN, then to IL before heading back to KY Sometimes the USPS just likes to take our packages on an "adventure"

  12. In the nearly 3 year period since I made the switch, I've avoided nearly $8000 worth of cigarettes (in 2012 prices), and have about $1000 or so worth of gear. I also make my own juice for the most part, and I buy the supplies in bulk, so my juice costs a fraction of retail juice. There will come a time when you have the devices that satisfy you and your spending will slow down.

  14. I look at it this way.... i had to buy the cigarettes, the addiction made me do it. My vape gear purchases are at my discretion and free will. Ok now i have been guilty of a few spontaneous purchases.... dam those shiny things in those pretty display counters.

  15. I usually find a couple that I like and use them until my taste buds change. I've become very picky myself about my juice lately especially since I've started dripping. Wanting an Mvp 3 really bad. Caught myself looking at a Fuhattan mod yesterday in the B&M. I really want both. But then I'd have to buy batteries and a charger. And I found myself trying to justify it. "But it's only $20-30 more than the MVP" Yeah. .....right. I've got shinyitis really bad right now.

I have learned so much from all of you and have a acquired several new "tools" to help me make this a success. The first year in over 30 years I haven't smoked. Here's to year 2!!
