My Veritas RBA arrived in today's mail. I wasted zero time when I got home from work and set it up with dual vertical sleeper coils (2.5mm diameter, 28g Kanthal A-1, .5Ω total) and Japanese organic cotton wicks. As expected, it vapes beautifully. My Veritas RBA

Although I dislike most of them, CBT (Corporate Business Training? Communication Building Team?) I can never remember what that one stands for in the business world. My mind goes immediately south and it always makes me break out in juvenile giggles. That one I don't mind, purely on an entertainment level.

So, you're going to become a member of Acronym Elimination Coalition ... the AEC? I'll put my opinion out there... not a fan of the BVC... I've been through a box already and have yet to be impressed. Gurgling and leakage aside, they didn't last as long as the BDC that came with my Nautilus, and the flavor diminishes quickly as the coil gunks-up... even with thinner, clearer juices, the coil gunks-up fast, and if the juice is not molasses-thick, they gurgle and/or leak if you leave it sitting overnight or even for a few hours. Now, my dissatisfaction may be due to the Nautilus, itself... but I won't be buying anymore coils for it, and I'll likely pay it forward someday... someone else might have better luck with it?

I have the MVP 20w and I love it.The battery seems to last forever and its just an extremely well built device.I would definitely go for the MVP 20w.

Might also be that the center pin somehow got pushed down so now it's not making a firm connection with the coil on the tank?

Thx comp i will give that a try when it is time to re-wick...but i think i might need to get a bigger rda to run this setup. My mutation is kind of a tight fit for this build, like i said i was bored and just gave it a try

Yes the JOC wicks so much better. I have proven that to myself with the testing I have been doing. It doesn't seem to matter what brand either so don't get hung up any brand.

I must agree with Rixter, Temco for the wire. For small amounts of Japanese organic cotton, the VT store has a very reasonable price. If you just want cotton balls Walgreens will work fine for Organic cotton balls. One bag will last you a year or more.

http://imgur.com/UzutA0t My very first build!....dual 28g macro coils, 7 wraps each...came out to 0.7ohms...got the idea from rip trippers and you really can do 1 second pulls!!...flavor is amazing and it chucks the clouds!

Take the O-ring off the drip tip, put a wrap or two of dental floss in the O-ring channel, and replace the O-ring. That should tighten your drip tip up a little.

Not the most pretty coils I've ever made, but like I said, I was kind of in a hurry.

Following a few article links, which started with this one about a town in MA which plans to ban sales all tobacco and related products (including e-cigs) because of the devil called Nicotine... , I ran across this one from Discovery Magazine, touting the medical benefits of Nicotine for Parkinson's Disease, Tourette’s and schizophrenia. But, the interesting portion of the article was independent research buried within, proving that Nicotine (alone) is NOT the addictive component of cigarettes (cigars, etc.), and alluding to the fact that Big-Tobacco, researchers, and our government have known this for decades, despite their demonizing of Nicotine publicly! If Nicotine were so addictive and deadly, do you think we'd be able to buy it from any corner-drug-store, or in bulk on the Internet? Try buying Morphine without a prescription or FDA license.... You can't even buy Lidocaine (Cocaine derivative used as an anesthetic by dentists all over the world) over-the-counter without a prescription or FDA license (in strengths greater than 0.5% - and usually only in first-aid sprays or ointments)! Saying Nicotine is the evil, addictive component of smoking, IMO, is like saying that motor oil is the addictive component that forces people to drive, and thus the leading (evil) cause of vehicle accidents and vehicle related deaths.
