Had a terrible dry hit today. Was outside in -2 ambient (-15 wind chill) and juice turned like molasses and couldn't soak into wicking material. Who knew there were critical flaws in this plan....

I've been vaping for a while now and I only do 6mg nic.But at times I need a little more nicotine.The next time I get some juice I'm going to bump it up to 7 or 8mg.I mainly drip so going above 8mg is a recipe for chunking a lung out.

I am too old to even remember yesterday but having smoked for 50 years and getting away with it healthwise - hopefully - I still cannot believe that I have stopped - I smoke my ecig the same way as I smoked a cigarette and the first draw of nicotine in the morning is awesome I have learned that smoking a real cigarette is the most wasteful way of getting nicotine - and it took me 50 years to find out

Contain the heat? That makes no sense at all. Unless used with a hobby charger those LiPO bags should be avoided. This is how they are meant to be used, batteries only in the bag.. Here's a thermal pic of a Nitecore charger. You can see we have some temps at ~125°F. These chargers need plenty of ventilation, they need to be able to dissipate heat, not 'contain' it. I can't imagine how hot these would get shoved into some insulated bag.

Leaving batts unattended while charging is a bad idea IMO. Li-Ion batts can and do over heat,vent etc, and cause fires. That includes cell phones,laptops,and flashlights that use LI-Ion. There are several vape suppliers who sell charging bags that will contain the heat so you may want to invest in one or two if you can't stay close to your batts while they charge. JMO HTH

I'm currently down from 18mg where I started in December and using homemade 4mg recipes. I'm finishing off a 60ml bottle of a 4mg recipe I recently made. I'll be making my next two 60ml batches at 3mg. I'll go down to 2ml after than and then to 1ml hopefully. When I get down to 1ml, I plan to see if I can go for 24 hours without vaping without any jonesing Coming down this far has greatly reduced my 'desire' for the nicotine. I can get up in the morning now and not go straight for my vaporizer.

T-Bone that is so spot on. And Mirage I agree completely. I'm convinced cigarette makers put in things that act as narcotic pain killers so we can't feel the damage being done to our breathing systems. and keep us from thinking about that damage which we all know intellectually is happening. I'm sure they also add bronchodilaters so we can breathe easy while smoking, and steroids to keep the inflammation at bay. Maybe as I've said before, that's why when you wake up in the morning, you can cough out a lung, have a cigarette and suddenly feel alright again. Just being without nicotine doesn't bother me any more that going without a cup of coffee. I don't get all OCD when I can't vape, but with smoking I'd not rest till I got my fix. Walking a mile for a Camel is child's play. Tsunami? Tornado? Hurricane? Blizzard? I'd still get my Reds somehow!

I can't disagree with the fake Sony issues. But, that makes me nervous too when Efest is re wrapping them... Are they legit... and by no means am I saying they are not. I just think the vaping industry has enough issues without adding to them. It can't really be stopped so, As Rixter said, best we can do is do the research and make sure what we are using is right for the job we are using them for. Even though there is not much I can do, I still can't help but think of the person that didn't do the research and blows their hand or face off because of irresponsible markings. Having said that, I use what EFests I have in my APVs. I just "personally" would not trust it in a mech and a low ohm build. I would much rather use what I know is safe for what I do with them. That's all I'm saying
