  2. Thanks Rixter. I will give that a test and see how close it is. I have a nickle right here on my desk too. Just check it to a Nickle and it is .01 off at 4.99. Close enough for me.

Yep, the quirks of the 20W iStick take some getting use to The Nautilus coils are only 1.6 or 1.8 Ohm as Tam pointed out, so you can't go higher there. The only option is to go lower Voltage or Wattage. I've found that the iSticks are less prone to running "hot" if they are in Voltage-mode, but even then, if I were running 3.9V (10W) on a different device, I have to translate that to 3.2-3.4V (6.8-7.7W) on the iStick to get a decent (not burnt/hot) vape. As the battery wears down a bit, they tend to smooth out a little. So it does take a little playing with them. They're not as accurate or smooth as say, an MVP, but they do work I'm using one right now with a KPT2 tank and 1.5 Ohm coil. I have to run it at 3V (6W) or I start getting a slight burnt taste. As the battery wears down, I can take it up to 3.3 (7.3W) and it will work well until it needs recharging. On my MVP, I would be running that same tank/coil combo @ 8.5-10W from the start, and never have a burnt taste.

  6. In addition to vaping my own juices, I make ejuice for about a dozen people in my area, so while a gallon each of PG & VG will last a long time for me, I doubt they will make it two years. Most of the people getting eliquid from me are using cartos or clearos, but there are a few of us using fog machines, so we go through our juice pretty quick. I'll only be opening the gallon jugs to refill smaller, more manageable glass bottles, and at the price I paid, I'll have no problem tossing whatever is left when they hit the two year mark.

The Eleaf iStick tends to run a little hotter than what the display settings indicate. You can counteract this by getting a higher resistant coil for your Nautilus mini. The coils that come with the Nautilus mini are 1.6 ohm and 1.8 ohm (if I remember correctly). You'll want to go with a 2.2 ohm or higher so you get a cooler vape without the burning taste.

  11. Let me add this. Those plants are sprayed with pesticides. Unless you know for sure that it is organically grown, I would not touch it with a ten foot coil.

  14. A pipe dream? (Pun intended) The Holy Grail of hardware manufacturers. The idea that the holder of a 10 year old technology will dominate the market is a little absurd. What I think is the tobacco biggies will survive the FDA and then pass on the costs to the consumer and the consumer will pay "$6 a pack" prices to vape. Meanwhile, we'll be firing up the still hidden in the back 40 and sitting around clutching our our mods and pro tanks talking about the glory days of vaping...

  18. His setup at a higher ohm keeps him safe and stealthy. Those batts aren't for serious cloud chasing, but thats not what he's after with that setup. He's looking at easy portability, stylishness, and decent flavor/vapor combo while scratching that nic itch. Looks great like that Rixter!

  19. Both are at .20-.22 ohms. Both have the Dinger tip. Only difference is how we do our coils and the liquid we vape

  21. Oh yeah! Welcome to the dark side my friend. It only goes downhill from here. I'm a rebuildable junkie, and haven't vaped from any other atomizer since I started. I'm a TWISTED freak. Mwahahaha. I don't have a problem. I can quit whenever I want, I swear. *wraps coil from a paperclip*
