Give me a box and some tape and I can make magic happen. What's dorky about that? Kids don't use their imaginations anymore, most prefer to get it premade. When you use imagination and make it yourself, it's that much better! Making it is half the fun. Have you never gotten a big box and used it to make a fort?2 points -
No. Why? Do I need to read it?2 points

changing tanks that are not empty yet
Bebop reacted to eCloudMaker for a topic
thank you such a fast reply I have yet to find a favorite juice... that is the current quest right now, it is silly and probably more of a newbie thing --- but I hate wasting nicotine that I am still hooked on I have a bit of a tasteless solution, but it might work I have some small glass bottles, I will label them 24ml, 12ml nicotine and such, then pour left overs in the bottles based on nicotine level taste would be off, but I probably didn't like the flavor in the first place. I have simple goals right now, #1 - Don't run out of anything while I make this transition # 2 - take another vape I have already realized: -- you need two batteries -- still waiting for this to be cheaper than smoking cigs (I am way, way over my smoking budget and I still want more stuff) - lol1 point -

I do the same with Bebop. NEVER pour old/used juice back into the bottle with fresh juice. I keep one tank per flavor so I have LOTS of tanks.1 point

Well.....I'm sure you'll get many reactions to this. But here's what I do.... I NEVER poor old juice back in to the bottle it came from. Not good. If I don't care, I dump the juice, dry up the wick as much as possible and then add new juice if it's a similar or like flavor. I never mix crazy flavors, like a mint with a coffee or a fruity then a bakery. Most of the time I just vape down and re wick the coil and start fresh. If it's one of my favorite juices I start fresh with a brand new coil. The solution is to have LOTS of tanks, haha.1 point

Got my first RDA and Mod... Couple questions...
EverPresentNoob reacted to Tam for a topic
An easy way to clean your RDA without using water is to remove the wick, blot remaining juice on deck with either a tissue or some paper towel, dry burn just the coil in pulses of 3 - 5 seconds to get the residual juice and gunk off the coil, let cool for several seconds, rewick, rejuice, vape. When I first started building coils, I also used my Fluke meter. Then, I quickly discovered I didn't have enough hands! I was going to add a joke in here about the guys who turn into an octopus at the mere mention of a good looking female -- and how they wouldn't have any problems holding everything at once -- but that would be in poor taste.1 point -

Compenstine reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
yes, with the added heat and vapor, nicotine will be flooded to your system. The general rule is whatever Nicotine level you vape in a tank... if using an RDA... cut it by half or 75%. I use 12-15mg in my Kanger tanks... 12mg in my RTA's, and when I drip (RDA), I drop to 3mg or 6mg (max).1 point -

And that was what I was wondering and confused about. I actually am planning on getting a dedicated meter. I was just messing with mine double checking the ohms and the darn probes kept slipping off. so yea, Im really starting to see the benfit. the build I got in it right now is actually a touch on the hot side for me as is. I dont see me going lower for a while. Now i gotta get the right juice for this thing. My normal 12mg made my head damn near explode and my 0mg just isnt anything... Comp, gonna be sending another order your way soon Im betting!1 point -

Help Advice w/Rebuild! Rookie!
rawbrooks reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Welcome... First of all... the reason your MOD is reading "check atomizer" is because the coil she gave you is below 1 Ohm (sub-ohm), and your DNA20 will not fire any coil below 1 Ohm. We're all for helping, and guiding you along, but first thing is first... you need to get a proper, dedicated Ohm Meter for checking your builds BEFORE you attempt to fire them with any mod... catastrophic "booms" can and will occur with improper equipment and super-low Ohm builds! Safety First! The only way to get your DNA20 to fire the Plume Veil is to build the coil above 1.0 Ohms. The type of wire and thickness is up to you... Kanthal A-1 in 30ga, 28ga, 26ga will be perfectly fine (and up to you) How many wraps? Use an online calculator like Steam-Engine.org to determine coil builds... and LEARN Ohm's Law (again, Safety!) Cotton will be your choice... Silica wick, Standard Cotton, Organic Cotton, Japanese Cotton, Rayon... all useable... Organic cotton, Rayon, and Silica are easiest to work with (don't require boiling or prep-work). Watch LOTS of youtube videos, buy an Ohm Meter, and buy a MOD (and battery) that are safe for sub-ohming . There are hundreds of threads on here with TONS of info on builds, batteries, MODs, cotton, and how-to's... you don't have to read them, but it is honestly easier to skim a few dozen posts than it is for you to wait for 50 people to comment on this post1 point -

Hey, Joe... congrats on 5-yrs in this little corner of Internet heaven Like Tam said, you can use the Kanger BCC in the Aerotanks, but I've had issues with leaking when using them in my AT's... BUT, the good news is, the KPT2 works VERY well with the air-flow-control base (from the Aerotank), and you can buy them separately for ~ $3. So, if it were me, I'd buy a KPT2 and pick up an air-flow-control base... it's the same price (or cheaper) than buying an Aerotank, and you're guaranteed the single-coils (BCC) will fit, and function, every time! Hey, and yes the dual-coils do burn a bit more juice, but it seems like they drain faster in the mini's because the minis only hold 1.2-1.5ml of juice... compared to the full-size tanks, which hold 2.5ml (every time).1 point -

Quitting smoking
ecignut reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
The way to quit smoking by substituting vaping is simple... but it's in this order... Willpower High enough level of nicotine level to help stave off cravings Willpower Good tasting juice (fruits, candy, bakery... all good things to get you away smoking) Willpower Reliable tank and battery (at least two of each so you can switch flavors and have one charging while you use the other) Willpower A good support-group, like the fine folks on this forum!! PS, don't feel bad if you don't quit tomorrow... it's not an Olympic event, not a race, and there are no penalty points for having to have a few smokes as you get into vaping... everyone is different!1 point -
Needing suggestions.
lilaloca1890 reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Your EVOD is fine... your nicotine level is most likely the issue. If you smoked anywhere near a pack a day, 18mg will be the bare minimum you'll require to get through the craving times (morning, before bed, after meals, etc.). If you smoked more than a pack a day, it would not hurt to try 24mg juices too... Nicotine is NOT the problem, so don't feel bad if you have to have higher levels to fight through the cravings! Also, using a higher VG% juice will produce more vapor, which many people find to also ease the transition, because you get the sensation of smoking (thicker vapor production). Higher VG will also reduce the throat hit (TH), so your draw will not be as "harsh".... this is a good thing for higher nicotine levels.1 point
