  2. I hate to ask the obvious question... but when you were sick, you were obviously spreading the little bugs all over (and in) your vaping gear.... SO, did you sterilize everything after you got better? If not, you could just be handing your near healthy system another dose of whatever it just fought-off.... When I'm feeling ill, I stick to a couple of tanks or RTA's... and each time I finish a tank, I drop the drip-tip into 91% rubbing alcohol to soak for a few minutes. After I get over whatever I had (which rarely lasts more than a couple days since I stopped smoking), I clean, rinse, and soak my "sick" tanks in freshly boiled water (until cool), then soak again in Vodka for a few minutes... air-dry, and use. This way I ensure I've not retained any bacteria or virus in those devices. I also wipe down my Mods/batteries with rubbing alcohol at least twice per day when I'm feeling ill... just in case I transfer anything or retain any "critters", lol

    Funny sound from coils?

I'm glad you're cured, Jason. Must've been a good doctor you saw... Sorry! I couldn't resist.

    Getting sick because of Vape?

I think it's the "or what?" Personally, and I'm no medical professional nor do I play one on TV, I have to agree with Comp and think you just got a bad series of bugs. Since I've switched to vaping I'm much healthier than I've ever been.

    Over night.

I don't like hearing that you were disappointed in PBFB. I know taste is subjective and not everyone is going to like some flavors. Please let me send you a few other flavor samples to make up for it. I know it would make me feel better to do this. Please PM me about it. It may be that you just don't care for that flavor and I would like to share some others with you that you may like better.

  8. It does not take much arm twisting for me to spend on vape gear, but you have such good suggestions! I was fixing to buy a ipv mini, on your suggestion, but I have the Sigelei mini with the same chip (SX130) so I thought I would get the V2. I just have not pulled the trigger yet. It has the sx330 like my ipv3, but much better form factor! (still waiting on the Colossal..pushed back to March, went up $20.00 and they won't answer my emails...lol Hopefully it will all work out, not loosing any sleep over it though) My suggestion is that if you get the iStick spend the extra $10 on the 30 watt. It is much improved. It seems to have a better range (from low to high), the spring loaded connector and new threads make it much more dependable, and the new lip they added makes a 22mm tank look better. I personally don't think you can go wrong with the 20 watt, but the 30 watt is worth the price difference IMO.

  9. The istick and the mvp both have an internal battery with a micro usb charge port. Google each and you will see what each one looks like. Eleaf iStick 20w or 30w. Innokin MVP 2.0 or MVP 3.0. Look for reviews on YouTube. PBursado is a great reviewer, gets kind of technical with the reviews of all devices tested, but shows what to look for and watch out for.

  12. Earthling's words are wise, his recommendations are even better. He is great at helping you spend some money but you won't regret it one bit. He's helped me spend some just recently and is working to help me again in the very near future.

  13. If I were you, I would go see my Dr. There has been a lot of flu going around our area. I have been off of analogs about as long as you and I have never felt better. I went in recently because I felt like I was getting the flu. It never fully developed, just nagged, and nagged, but I never got sick. They did the test where they shove a cotton swab 4 inches into your brain to see if you have the flu. It was negative. I was not running any fever either. He gave me some samples of 2 nose sprays and it went away. He said it was allergies. I take Zyrtec daily and I guess it has quit working. On a side note, I probably get more nicotine now than I ever did when I smoked. I am using 24mg as my all day vape. I now get head rushes a few times a day and I never did with analogs. He was amazed that my blood pressure has normalized, we have fought it since I was 16 years old. (2 pills a day) He said my lungs have never sounded better. I never enjoy going to the doctor, but this time was great!

I have both the protank 2 and the protank mini. I like them both, but tend to use the PT2 more since it is a bigger tank. Also the nautilus is nice.

Congrats on the 5 year member milestone, Joe! So, you've been able to put up with Jeff for that long, huh? Just kidding, Jeff. *blows kisses* It's not a CE type clearo, but have you tried the Kanger Pro Tank mini? The replacement coils are very cheap and it works extremely well. It has a Pyrex glass tank so you can use any kind of juice in it without worry that it'll crack. You just have to be a little careful not to knock it around to break the glass.

  18. For a glass tank "upgrade", I would suggest a Kanger ProTank 2 or AeroTank. Tug is correct that the Nautilus coils do last a tiny bit longer than the KPT coils, but the KPT coils are 1/3 the price, and vape quality in the AeroTank (dual-coil) is very comparable to the Nautilus. The KPT and AeroTank are also half the price of a Nautilus (full or mini size). If you really like the top-coil design of the iClear16, you can always go with a Vivi Nova or similar top-coil tanks. For a battery upgrade, if you like the eGo-style (stick), a Vision Spinner (I, II, or III) are good work-horses, although people say the Spinner2's have issues... If you are wanting a small box-style, the iStick 20W or 30W are excellent choices. The 30W model is an upgraded version with better threading over the 20W model, but I have two 20W models and they are working well for me. The MVP 2.0 is rock-solid, but limited in peak-power (but works very well with standard tanks). SMY also has a slim 30W box-mod out, with a price comparable to the iSticks, but I've not tried one of them... they look nice though! For a small budget of say ~ $50, you could grab an iStick 20W and two KPT2 (or two AeroTanks for a couple bucks more), and I think you'd be quite happy with the upgrade over the Twist and iClear16 combo.

  19. Hi duke, the ego twist is a good battery.I would try upgrading your tank first like a Nautilus mini works excellent. They produce Good vapor and the coils last alot longer than say a protank 2 coil.if the ego isn't satisfying your needs maybe look into a Vision Spinner too.Hope this helps.Welcome to VT.

    Over night.

Flavors will almost always be a little more intense (or at least different) first thing in the mornings... because you've not been vaping in your sleep, and your taste-buds have had a chance to "relax" Or at least I hope you've not been vaping in your sleep

  22. Very interesting to see them both so magnified. I'm very curious about what you find out, Comp. Btw, with my Prime, I didn't have to pay any shipping costs.
