  1. It wasn't really a test of the mod's voltage drop. Here's a pic of Field of Vapors tester and results. What he's pressing is one of Zen's mechs. The load is .5Ω. Assuming that the meter and load is accurate we see an interesting result. Using 3.51V and .5Ω in a calc we get 7.02A, but the thing has measured the amps at 6.6. There is a difference of .42A. Can we safely assume that the mod itself has actually sucked up nearly half an amp? Can we say that the mod itself has a parasitic resistance of .03Ω? I like this test, at least for the voltage drop part of the the actual mod itself. He messes up on the amps though he should be adding the 0.04 that his meter is showing at rest.

    Nautilus worth it?

I thought the BDC burned a lot more juice than the BCC, but and found that the BDC burns 0.002ml more juice per hit than the BCC, which translated from the difference of juice used in a week and the number of hits taken. Comparing a KPT2 and AeroTank (using same base, same juice, same Ohm coil), I did empty an AeroTank with fewer hits, but only about 35 fewer hits per tank on average. Your mileage may vary, but based on my "experiment", I found the BDC did vaporize only a tiny bit more juice per hit

  6. I had to laugh when I saw this. I just sent him a message to send me a sample pack of fruit flavors. Was going to try them on there own and then mix them...lol... I gotta feeling it will be nothing but greatness...

  8. T-bone, how's that storm treating you? Don't mean to rub it in but the suns down here, clear skies and I'm Vaping outside in shorts :p All jokes aside, I saw some pretty brutal footage from the east coast on the news and wanted to make sure you were OK. Hope to hear from you, I hear a second storm is starting up over there. Be safe.

  9. Jake, the first thing you need to do is don't worry what others think might look good. You get what you like to look at and what will work for you. That is all that really matters bud...

  12. And now you're stomping in my sandbox. A college education is what you make of it. I've seen hundreds "walk" on graduation day in May every year for the past 19 years. Many of them go to high paying jobs they wouldn't have otherwise qualified for if they hadn't gone to college. Without college to train the medical professionals, where would you be healthwise? It may not be perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better than the alternative. Sure, some go to college and get nothing out of it. You get what you put in. If you work at it and learn from it, you're probably going to get something worthwhile out of it when you get the degree. *gets off soapbox*

  13. Yep. If you're going to build your own coils, the first thing on your shopping list is not a mod or RDA/RTA/RBA... it should always be an ohm meter or multimeter. Next on the list is to research how to use it properly (if you're not already familiar). The kanthal, wick, RDA, mod, battery and juice are all way down the list in comparison. T-Bone is good about listening to sound advice and asking lots of questions. Good luck to you in your next step of vaping. Stay safe!

    Tax season wishlist

"Tax season wishlist" - A more responsible Federal Government that actually adheres to the Constitution - Politicians that actually SERVE the people that elect them - Washington remembering that it's OUR money they are pissing away - A populous that remembers it's OUR money - Tax refunds only go to people that actually OVERPAY taxes If withholding was no longer allowed and everyone had to write a check at the end of the year, people would vote differently and become more active in who represents them! *end soapbox rant*

  16. It did alright, but I didn't clean the tank as well as I thought it did and it still had a machine oil taste to it, so I dumped the tank, gave it a nice long alcohol bath rinsed it out, and rebuilt it with 28g just cause I felt like it lol. so now it is down to ~0.43ohms putting me right at the limit of two of my 3 batteries (3rd is a vtc5) no real point in posting another picture as the build looks pretty much identical other than the wire being slightly thicker. But that 28g dual build really chooches out some vapor and flavor! nice thick billowing clouds so smooth and tasty. very flavorful. I have contemplated going back to a single coil 26g build though as the batteries last longer and vapor comes in faster for longer on the battery. getting below 0.5ohms is great for clouds but in a dual setup takes a bit longer to heat the coils vs single coil setups (in my experience anyway) and I like rapid fire builds. all about that instant gratification

  17. again not looking for you to find what I like. I already ordered a couple I am sure I will like. I am looking more to see if multiple people suggest the same thing and maybe it is something I wouldn't think I like and I may give it a try at that point.

  19. Roughly 15ml......I know, lightweight, lol. I only vape as a substitute for smoking and I don't vape for the sake of vaping so that's enough for me.
