  1. Today's mail contained an Aspire CF 18650 mod, a Kanger Subtank, two Sony VTC4 18650 batteries, and an Efest Soda charger...all from Triangle Vape. Here's the setup... ...and here's how it performs with the stock .4Ω dual coil RBA setup.

    Coil Building Calculator

Here's Coil Toy, a handy little online coil building calculator that you might find interesting. Just plug in your numbers and it shows you what your coil should look like.

  3. ^^ This ^^ I was about to chime in that the 25r's were 20A rated. I would not use them for anything lower than 0.25 Ohm builds, just to be under the Amp-threshold. I think they will operate slightly higher than 20A, safely, but I'd rather not find out "the hard way"!

  5. Beyond Vape Smith box. It's a collaboration between BV and the manufacturers of the ipv's. 150w. Aria Built (BV) SS Temple drip tip. I also have a package coming from a seperate vendor containing a Hobo v2.1 RDA and a Mutation X v3. But that has not arrived yet. :P I set the fire alarm off in my house with my Smith box within the first hour of having it in my hands. My alarms run through the security system in my house, so the fire dept. was called. Needless to say, they weren't very happy to find some guy sitting in his driveway looking like a human fog machine. One of the two I talked to was laughing his *** off, though.

  6. I had been bored and was thinking. How long from the first time you vaped until you found the right set to how long since last analog. Me, My first vape was Aug of 2013, found the right setup Feb 2014, Last analog was April 25th 2014. Almost 9 months analog free. Feeling great.

  7. Yeah....I keep trying to tell the 'I hate Kanger' crowd to give it a change. Way more flavor than the Atlantis.

  8. Thanks. I skipped the OCC head and went straight for the .4Ω stock dual coil RBA section. That puts out ~44 watts (22 watts per coil) on a fresh battery, so there's not much of a chance to burn the cotton. I was a little concerned putting ~35 watts to the single coil in the OCC head. BTW..the flavor is incredible!

    All about the cotton

Yes. There's a naked mummy running around somewhere.

  15. I think rebuilding the OCC head at .7Ω (~25 watts on a fresh battery) would probably be perfect for a mech.

  19. .2 is cutting it close on the 25r. Only rated for 20A. On a fresh build it puts you right at 21A and 88watts. Once it drain a bit its fine. Remember as voltage changes the amp load will change.

  20. Oops. Typo Rixter. Thanks for catching that.

  21. @maple626: What batteries are you using in your mods? Have you metered them fully charged to see what the voltage is on them? You should be using batteries with a voltage of 4.2 when fully charged. Both the Manhattan and the Aspire CF are unregulated mods, so they put out what the battery voltage is. I know, I know...everyone thinks that the CF is a regulated mod, but Phil Busardo (pbusardo on YouTube) and Scott Bonner (igetcha69 on YouTube) tested the voltage drop on the CF and it definitely is not regulated. In fact, Aspire's CF product page actually states that it has an "output voltage of 4.2v full power output", which apparently means when the battery is at full power. The same information is shown for the CF SubΩ Battery as well as the CF Mod Battery (18650). The CFs will, however, shut off when your battery's voltage drops below 3.2v, so you do have under-voltage protection.

  23. It's not my business whether or not these folks pay for their sub-forums, but twice I've posted in someone's forums and have gotten no response. I understand, if paying, they can treat potential customers however they darn well choose...but if not, they're just taking up space. I really don't want to rock the boat, but being ignored is a pet peeve of mine. Nothing more rude.

  24. I go through about 100-120ml a week. I also usually have to fight the other 3 Vapers in the house from stealing my jyice... Lol
