That Kanger is going to look like a bobblehead on that CF MOD, ask or as they say here in the South, axe me how I know. When the mini comes out I think I'll get the red CF MOD to match the red O-rings. Yeah I'm at that point now where I'm color match my stuff. I use them until they give out... like others have said... some can keep kicking for months... some die after a week or two... there is nothing in stone to say, "change your coil every 9-days", lol EDIT: One thing I feel I should mention, though... always carry a spare coil or at least have one handy. Sometimes these coils will be working perfectly fine one minute, and die the next, and you don't want to be 50 miles from civilization without a back-up coil, tank, battery, spare juice, etc.... Been there, done that... and the T-shirts aren't that nice

As you said it takes the spring out of the wire. This makes it easier to wrap. You want to do this after it is wrapped to tighten up the coils too. This is done when making macro, micro and low ohm builds. Once installed, you will heat the coil up again with the battery to tighten it up more. You also also do this to make sure it is glowing from the inside out.

I sell it in my DIY section. Other than that Wizard Labs or strait from TFA (The Flavor Apprentice). I do not know of any that can be picked up at Walmart that would be considered safe. I do use "Agave in the Raw" and can be bought at Walmart. It is not a heavy sweetener, but it is best for adding just a touch of sweetness with a slight brown sugar type flavor.

Yeah, I love the size of them... and when they work, they work well. I can even live with the fact that you have to dial them back to get an equivalent vape, compared to another APV... I'm just not happy with these tantrums either

What's sad is that I really do like these iStick 20w -- when they behave, they work great! When they're having tantrums is when I have a problem with them.

Depends on the juice. Light, less sweet juices will require a coil change about once every two to three weeks. Dark, sweet juices may last a week sometimes just a few days.

I read a post in another forum stating that there is and estimated 4% failure rate on the 510 connection. 4% is huge

Tam, are you using VW mode, and noticing the Wattage change, or using VV mode and noticing the Wattage change because it's reading the resistance of the coil incorrectly? If I use VW mode, and set it to 6.5W (which is like 12W on my other APV's, lol), the Wattage does not change, but I see the resistance bounce all over the place from time to time, and when it goes higher, more Voltage is applied to the coil to reach the Wattage I have set. 6V applied to my 1.4 Ohm RTA coil tends to cook my Japanese Cotton, Cajun style

You'd think if the Chinese could clone the newest RDA/RTA a week BEFORE it was released by the authentic vendor, they could actually manage a distribution center and ship things in a timely manner??

Ive noticed the Spinner does fade a little after a few months but that is partly why I like VV because I just crank it up as the battery fades. But keep mind a fading/aging coil will also appear to seem like a fading battery.

About a week for me but they could go a little longer. Its just too easy to rebuild 'em and keep them freash and clean.

I have heard plenty of good and bad both about thier products, but I think I am going to take a chance on it. I am not going to get in on the preorders, but I may pick one up when one of the vendors that I normally do business has one. I have seen preorders from $36 - $50 range. I destroyed an iStick last night (for reasearch) and I am going to need to replace it. I may have it up and running before anyone has them in stock though. I still have plenty of backups and my main one is still running fine.
