  1. Nah, we've seen lots of new vapers who are even more of a noob than you. LOL Here's lesson one: It's vaping, nothing to do with smoking at all. We vape, it's vapor (not smoke). Smoking consists of burning something. We use e-cigarettes that heat the liquid but it doesn't burn it. If it burns, you're doing it wrong and need to turn down the settings. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

  2. Another thought is are both you and your friend using the same resistance coils? I ask because I only use 1.8ohm coils and the other day I had one go bad at work and wouldn't fire and only had replacement coils here in 2.2 ohm and I could barely taste anything until I got home and put a 1.8 back in. It is amazing how resistance can reduce flavor at a constant power setting.

  3. I've ran into people that have been vaping for years, and they still call it "smoking" I guess for some, decades of calling it "smoking" is a harder habit to break than actual smoking, lol My favorite, though was a lady I met last fall... she noticed I was vaping and said, "Oh, I see you smoke these batteries too."

    Legion?

Sure, if you don't mind. I would like something that's pretty simple (don't need eight posts), has a fairly deep well without it making it hard to build on and good airflow control (don't want to have to drill the thing out). How's that for being picky? Between you and Earthling I should be broke by Monday. LOL

Nope, your coils don't look too bad at all... I wish my first few coils turned out that nicely! I'm not looking for a trade, but I think you'll be very happy with the larger size... makes it easy to work with as a first-device, and excellent air-flow... One piece of advice is to position your coils directly over the air-holes, or slightly "inside" the holes so the air comes directly under the coil, or slightly to the outer-edge... this will give you much better vapor and flavor (less airy and weak). If you're looking for a standard-size, I've seen them for ~$15-18 (even less if you buy from one of the better Chinese vendors, but shipping is slow). If I run across a decent price, I'll shoot you a link

    First little build

From the quick google search, the triton kit is basically a form of ego style battery with clearomizer tanks included. I can promise you that the difference between this kit and the atlantis/cf mod combo is night and day! Try the halo kit, let us know what you like and if you have any questions let us know asap so we can help walk you through them. I'm by no means am saying you bought something bad, a lot of times the first few days for a new vaper can make or break their success simply due to the fact that it's a new concept for them. Lets get you up and running well and see what makes sense after that.
