    old skool high drain x3

Here is the 3 cell one and a single cell shorty model next to an 18650 battery for size comparison. The 3 cell job probably can put out as much or more current than an 18650 mod but not resemble a baseball bat.

Back in the day before "mods" became factory production models that are really not modified as much as they are engineered we would modify things to try and create more vapor than a Joye 510,801 or DSE 901 as they only had 85 to 110 mAh batteries and really crappy switches. The black thing is a battery box you can get at Madvapes , Radio Shack or about any electronic supply house. That particular one is made to hold 4 AA batteries . This mod in the pictures allows the 3 14500 batteries to discharge at their maximum discharge rate and the available current is multiplied by 3 so I can get a really good vape at 3.7 volts @ 2.8 ohms for quite a spell. It costed less than $10.00 to build and when it breaks I just salvage the switch and connector and build another one. I like them because they fit in my shirt pocket, can be palmed when stealth vaping and when they are laying out in sight are not real obvious as to what they are.

    Should I buy it lol...

Oh, there's always going to be "something else" just around the next corner. Grab what's right there in front of you and enjoy until that "something else" gets a little closer.

  11. Give me a few months! I don't have access to any modern cad programs. I am just learning. I can draw some decent 2D stuff with a lot of measurements, but, I am in no way proficient. I have just started using Sketchup (formally Google, now trimble) to get an iStick cap printed in 3D. In my job I have to do a lot of 2D drawing. I measure the gasket in the field and draw it. I email the part to our "real" cad guy and he makes sure it is clean, then sends it to the waterjet to be cut. Lately he says he doesn't have to clean up my drawings...lol

  13. Scrap lumber and a drill-press... and a little time, and I made these to hold my tanks and eGo-style batteries... Yes, the round one is a solid-round closet-doorknob I also use a Plano tackle-box (the tiny, two-tray ones) to hold all my spare parts and coil-making materials... an even smaller one (double-sided fishing lure case) holds my dead Kanger coils while I'm waiting to rebuild them.

  14. Sorry, I don't have time right now to get a good pic and put it up but this is the one I use. http://www.amazon.com/Acrylic-Crystal-Cosmetic-Organizer/dp/B00G1D3GDI/ref=sr_1_103?ie=UTF8&qid=1419803622&sr=8-103&keywords=acrylic+makeup+organizer The little square lipstick holders are perfect for eGo style batteries, they also fit my Magneto mech mod and Provari mini and Evod . Hey Bebop!

Ah, the great debate. I like both for different reasons. If you force me to choose I would pick El Dorado. Mitchum is great. Both highly entertaining. Caan is great. But so is Walter Brennan. I enjoy them both.

  16. It may be your Spinner that's doing this with your charger. With the Spinner II we've found that it does strange things when charging. What we've worked out as a work-around is to put the Spinner on the charger. Wait a few minutes and then take it off the charger then put it back on right away. The normal charging cycle will go through. We haven't figured out why the Spinner II does this, but we've learned to live with it.

    Big Tobacco killing us?

Surely there will be a market for more advanced vaping. Dont you think that Big Tobacco will support this? In the form of "sister" companies catering to this need? Otherwise I would expect a huge underground market. I just don't see how they can stop it. It's just too dang easy to produce your own gear and juice. The amount of regulation required to limit consumer purchase of hardware, ingredients, etc is mind boggling. They would have to redesign and trademark batteries etc. It's crazy. I'll take my dozen protanks and hobble along with what I have for years if necessary....they'll have to pry my vape from my cold dead hand, lol...
