  1. I love this review of it I was able to purchase this amazing television with an FHA loan (30 year fixed-rate w/ 4.25% APR) and only 3.5% down. This is, hands down, the best decision I've ever made. And the box it came in is incredibly roomy too, which is a huge bonus, because I live in it now.

  3. I have been using Comp's Fruit Mash for a few weeks, and I am nearly out. As you know the Mash line is made from many different flavors, it has steeped a long time and is delicious. The problem is that it is in limited supply. I contacted Comp to take a mix a fruit flavor made of at least 3 or 4 of his Basic and Original Flavors. As normal he went above and beyond. He used flavors from all of his lines, no telling how many, to make a great new flavor. He is calling it "Frutti-Tutti" and it is awesome. I really don't know how to describe it, because I can't pick out one flavor. It is definitely fruity! I want to say it tastes like a fruit salad, but it is so much more. I think he is going to add this to his lineup, and if he does, I will have no reason to back to the local B&M (this is a good thing)!

  4. From what I've seen over the past few months here, no matter what your vapeing style may be, the only 2 common denominators are that you are able to enjoy a better way of life than when on analogs and that you are safe while doing it. Whatever that is for someone, the goal is to be better off than we were with analogs! The fact that any member would show concern for another is exactly why we joined VT in the first place. To learn, share, and keep on the road to a better way of life.

  5. I do realize there are many who enjoy blowing clouds. The point I was trying to make, and you evidently missed, is that not "everyone" or even "most everyone" (as you asserted), has to gravitate toward cloud blowing just because they took up vaping. Some people do and they enjoy it. Great. More power to them, I just hope they're taking the proper safety precautions. Others might not feel the need nor want to blow clouds even if they can. That's why there are tanks, RDAs, RBAs, RTAs, atomizers, cartomizers and a whole host of different delivery systems available. Isn't it great that we can like what we like and not have to do what "everyone" else does?

  6. Kanthel wire comes in different gauges.. like 27g 26g 24g, etc. The lower the gauge the thicker the wire, and lower resistance.. Higher gauge like 28g 30g 32g are thinner wires and offer higher resistance.. The first thing I do would is check the ohm limit on the batt to be used, and determine what wire/build would be safe ...I use 26g a lot but sometimes use 24g..parallel builds is two wires wrapped side by side but keep in mind it cuts resistance in half compared to a single wire wrapped the same amount of turns on the same dia bit...always use a ohm meter to check the resistance on your build and use a ohms law calculator to see what power requirement is needed..(several available online as a download ) Ohms law is always applied to be sure these builds don't exceed the amp limits on the batt being used. Safety involved in building requires a understanding of basic electronics, a working knowledge of ohms law and an accurate ohm meter... It can seem intimidating at first but in time building safely will come a lot easier, and blow clouds that have to be seen to be believed ...lol

    How many wraps?

Each coil has to measure 2.0 to get a 1.0 ohm reading when they are doubled. The resistance is cut in half. How many wraps are you doing per coil and what is the reading you are getting?

  10. Dang! They are out of stock. It would be nice to have one for the Den and one for Living Room....lol I just calculated it and I still couldn't afford it if they offered it at 99% off!

  11. Haha! I cheated this year. Everyone kept asking what do you want for Christmas. Trying to explain exact vaping products I was scared I was going to get something from a gas station. I bought all the stuff I wanted, gave it to my wife, then she distributed it to the children stating she bought it for them to give me. Sure beats socks, underwear and ties!!!

  21. Welcome! It sounds like you have made quick progress on the learning curve of beginning to vape. Already seen the need, and purchased a backup was absolutely the right thing to do! Congrats on great start to your journey. Having a trusted local Vape shop is fantastic. You may find that online prices may be better for many items. Let us know if we can help with anything.

  22. LOL! I agree. If you want it cooler, turn it down. If you want it hotter, turn it up! I guess the best thing to bring away from it, is that the iStick is putting out more power than the screen says. For example, I am currently using my Delta at 12.5 watts according to the screen. If you do the math it is actually putting out closer to 15.5!

  25. I almost woke the wife was laughing so hard.... I have had different experiences aging juices ( aging, aging, repeat aging - if I forget and write steeping in what I'm about to write, take pity on this old man, haha). A whole heap o' my juice ain't never saw a better day after months of agin' ( sorry, I been watchin' a LOT of westerns lately) , in fact it's still aging in some landfill somewhere I'm a shore. Ain't none the better and it needed killin'. Some improved with agin' but as someone quicker on the draw said plain, it don't last but a couple weeks anyway. Had a few back in '13 that aged them selfs in to a mess you wouldn't serve to the fly on the horses *** a varmint rode in to town on. And that's the truth.

Sounds like you got yourself a winning combo in the Eleaf iStick and Nautilus. Those two are very good together. Don't try to go down in nic too fast, give yourself time to let your body heal from the cigarettes you used to smoke. Trying to cut the nic too fast could have negative consequences like going back to analogs. We have a good bunch of members here who are very helpful. You could also find it's a pretty neat hobby once you get used to all the sheer amount of "stuff" that goes with vaping. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

  28. I know my ADV, after I mix it, tastes much better after I let it "age" for a month... which is why I buy the ingredients and mix it at least a month before I'm ready to vape it As for some of the juices I buy from my B&M... some are great "that day"... some taste even better after a few weeks... it really depends on the flavor or complexity of the flavor. The Hydra flavors Comp sent me for review tasted better every day I let them "stand"... until about 2-weeks in... then they balanced-out perfectly... I don't know how they taste after a month... because they are all gone

  29. LOL Yeah.... Aging does get old doesn't it. *Moves quickly to avoid the fist in the arm.

  30. LOL. I could go on about old dogs and new tricks, but the short story is that my body's doing all the aging it wants on its own. I have this thing on the word, "aging"...

  31. Does steeping or "aging"(lol) really make that much of a difference in flavor? I'm always too impatient to wait a week to steep a juice..oops I mean aging lol ;-)

  32. Sean from Glas Vapors sent out holiday/appreciation gifts to the folks that have purchased a mech-mod from him. It's very kind of him to do that. The packaging is top notch with magnetic flaps and a wax seal on the bottle 100ml Pound Cake 6mg. Happy Holidays

Poor thing is my main vape.. I can't step back into it as much as I want to.. I'd use it with a nautilus but I have not been able to get into another rebuild in the coils.. I'll get around to it after the holidays... Lol

  43. Hello Peggy in Houston and welcome. Sounds a lot like my beginning, 19 months ago. Some encouragement: That hard tip/soft tim, button pushing thing gets to be the norm after a short time and the cig feeling becomes the abnormal. I know it's really hard to believe but it really happens. I sense almost the same resentment in your post that I had when I was first here. Like how come it's all so cool for you all yet I'm still struggling with things that aren't cigs, have buttons and the flavour isn't anything like a Marlboro red and you all are so happy. Now I'm one of 'those' Keep going, it gets better surprisingly quickly. You btw can twist and shout all day with that device until you find the spot that gives the best vape and flavour for whichever liquid you are using. Best of luck from Jon in Malaysia.

  45. It is very rare to find any eliquid that tastes like burning leaves. You should be able to find plenty that you find pleasant. You just have to try small quantities of as many as you can until you find your fave.

  47. The VV can be charged while put together. Just plug a usb plug in the bottom (like you would on a cell phone). It will get easier. I went from 2 -3 pack a day to about a half a pack in just a few days. I then got down to 2 a day for a few weeks and then I quit. Don't try to go too fast. It will happen. Once you get to know your setup, and find different flavors analog cigarettes will start to taste bad. Stick around, and ask questions. There is a lot of great people here ready to help! By the way, Welcome to Vapor Talk!
