Just bought a Sigelei V2 100W. Love the magnetic cover, no f'n screws. Topped it with an Atlantis and a tank full of Fadors Vapor's Peanut Butter Fudge Brownie, Mmmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmm! Started with a Vamo, then went to a DOVPO but was killing my battery in a few hours. This uses 2 18650's and I'm getting 2 days3 points

Plastic Clearomizers
Tennjed and one other reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Like Tam said, tank-cracking juices will slowly deteriorate a tank... I've seen only one plastic tank "pop" and leak juice (Vivi Nova mini - not mine)... and I'm pretty sure it was damaged to start with. Usually, a tank-cracking juice will slowly spider-web a tank, or it may appear that the plastic is fogging. Once that happens, it's only a matter of time for it to begin leaking. Myself, I use Pyrex tanks (KPT2, KPT3-mini, AeroTank, and Nautilus) 99% of the time. I have a couple of EVOD tanks, but they rarely see any use anymore (will probably give them away to someone in need). Just be aware of the juices you're using, and keep an eye on your tanks. Most plastic tanks can handle a tank-cracking juice for a while... it's not like you're pouring gasoline into a Styrofoam cup... it won't deteriorate immediately2 points -
A Kanger Pro Tank mini 2 has a Pyrex glass tank so you can use any type of juice in it and it'll be fine. Plastic tanks are fine for many flavors. Anything with a lot of citrus (lemon, lime, orange, etc.) can crack plastic tanks. That doesn't mean it always will or that it'll happen right away. Other juices with heavy mint (peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen, menthol, etc.) can also crack tanks, same with those heavy in cinnamon. I've cracked more than a couple of tanks with one of my favorite flavors: mojito. That's heavy in mint and citrus. For me, the tank developed spider cracks that spread out after some time. The tanks never changed color for me, others might tell you different. If you're using plastic tanks and are worried your tank might crack and start leaking, then use only those flavors that are not high in citrus, cinnamon and/or mints in them. Save those for use in your KPT 2 mini. My preferred tank is an Anyvape Davide mini. These are very similar to the KPT minis, the Davides just perform better for me. These have Pyrex tanks on them. I also use the full sized KPT, full sized Davides, an Aerotank and Aspire Nautilus mini. All of these have the Pyrex tank in common so I don't have to keep track of what juices can go in them. If you're using any of the tank crackers in plastic clearomizers, just keep an eye on them for cracks. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about it, just be sure to keep a spare back up so you can transfer the juice if your plastic tank should develop a leak.2 points

Bump when you get something in vape mail.
spydre and one other reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
I've had this happen more than once... my carrier would leave a box on top of my mailbox, or on the ground next to the mailbox... I'm in a rural area, and the a-holes that live out my road will not hesitate to drive slowly by and snag a box... having no idea what is inside it, but knowing they'll be able to use it, hock-it, or sell it to someone sooner or later.... After having maybe a dozen packages stolen like this... my mail-lady now pulls off the road, drives up my long driveway, and will deliver any box which is too large for my mailbox directly to the door... or she'll leave it in the cab of my pick-up (which is never locked) if nobody is home or it's raining. It sucks that your package was stolen, and even more that you'll be out $ for theft...2 points -

I'd suggest the Eleaf Istick. They are reasonably priced for what you get, especially if you find one on sale. My first one I paid $35. I bought my second one last weekend during the Black Friday sales for $22 shipped.2 points

E juice burning my throat
spydre reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Good catch Spydre... my brain was thinking one thing and my hands typed another... What I should have said was anesthetic , rather than sedative... Cigarette manufacturers add ingredients to numb the throat/lungs to reduce the throat-hit and convulsive/cough reaction when inhaling. The "other" things smoked by lavendarshy also have this same effect, naturally... Yes, nicotine is a stimulant, but I was referring to the "additives"1 point -

Loved Metallica until the 'black' album. Their departure from complex lyrics showed. Loved Ride the Lightning and yet they somehow managed to keep that style and sound without Dave Mustaine. Master of Puppets, awesome. By the time ...and Justice For All came about I was old enough to understand its political and social implications and they still kept their style. For me they fell apart after Black. St Anger was an utter mess and don't get me started on the Symphony stuff . Having seen them live I will say that Hetfield is a better studio singer than live. I will also note that ...and Justice For All was a stellar album and was released within a few months of (in my opinion) the best concept album in rock history, Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime. Never get tired of that album. It's sad that most bands lose their edge with time. I have to say though, Iron Maiden is one of the exceptions.1 point

Thinking Of A Different Battery
T-Bone reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
I prefer a plain eGo-T (1100mAh) for my Kanger mini tanks... bullet-proof, simple, and cheap They are my go-to for back-ups and traveling on my motorcycle because they take up so little space, and I can carry four batteries and four tanks in my 5.5" x 3" x 1.5" HCigar MOD pouch... and it fits nicely in my jacket pocket or tank-pouch... For box-mods... I've not tried the iStick, but I'm a firm advocate for the MVP 2.0... The button on the MVP is stiff, but I find it feeling "secure" because you don't accidentally fire it off. I also spin it around and use my first or middle-finger to fire it because using my thumb feels awkward. I've used a VTR, and I'm getting closer and closer to buying one... I like the form-factor, tank placement, and the fact I can replace the batteries on-demand, rather than waiting for it to charge. I've done the VV stick batteries (like the Spinner and Twist), but since I prefer 3.6-3.8V anyway (with the coils/juices I use), paying extra for a VV eGo-style just doesn't make sense... thus why I gravitate towards eGo-T's... They're reliable, cheap, and I don't think twice about giving one (or two) away to a noobie, or being pissed if one gets damaged or lost1 point -

All I can do is make a claim and get some of money back. Bad part is I'm running out of many flavors in that order and no money to reorder. Yea JoeJoe I want to go postal on that worker right. They have always brought it to the door or left a note to pick it up at the post office. No note no box at the door and no box at the mail box. You would think being this time of year they would have more seance than to leave on the street. That was just plain irresponsible1 point -

That's another channel that she watches. (I watch it with her) I take naps frequently. I am a salesman, and I may drive 200 miles before 8:00 and 200 more after 5:00. If I start getting tired, I pull off and catch a 15 minute nap. If I am not taking a purchasing agent out to lunch, I've been known to grab a drive through burger and sit in a rest area and grab 45 minutes.1 point

If you are looking for a box mod, in most circumstances, you can't go wrong with either an MVP or a VTR, and the cost dependent on where you get. I wouldn't go for the 20 Watt MVP. But the original MVP and the VTR are pretty heavy duty. I'm an absolute klutz. I'm not shy about the fact that I have problems with my hands and sometimes have a hard time keeping a hold of things. I dropped both of them about a zillion times. Literally, the only thing that went wrong (other than sometimes, if I dropped it just right, it would somehow trigger the battery door on the VTR to pop open) is the last time I dropped the VTR, it bent what is basically an extender, so you don't have to put your tank down in the side of the VTR, and it's also where the ego threaded tanks hook up to. The thing about the MVP is where the trigger is located. It's smack dab in the middle of of the front face, so you have to use your thumb, and it takes more pressure to trigger than regular round batteries. And, well, there is the draw back that you have to charge it, but you have the Spinner to use while that's going on, and it takes no more than two or three hours, if I recall. The VTR has a side trigger button, so you would naturally use your finger. It's stiffer than other mods, but not nearly as stiff as the MVP. But you'll pay more for the VTR, and once you put a tank on a VTR, it weighs in at a full pound. The MVP is heavier than "non-box" mods, but still I'd say nearly half the weight of the VTR. Anyway, I've dropped both my MVP and VTR on pavement and not had problems with it - I've broken one tank and cracked another in drops, but the devices themselves were fine (AND broken a good drip tip in the process as well). They still function well. I replaced the MVP with the VTR, and replaced the VTR with my current Sigelei Zmax V5 only because of the trigger thumb and finger(s) problem I have in my left hand now, making it more difficult for me hold a box mod (and sometimes more painful to hold it as well).1 point

I prefer square/rectangle mods. Here are the electronic boxes around my chair this evening: The one in front is a Itaze VV with a Nautilus Mini Left is an iStick with a Nautilus Mini Middle is an MPV with a Nautilus Right is an IPV3 with a Billow RTA on it. The rig on the right is getting close to it. I am running a .4 ohm twisted 28ga dual coil set up on it. It is hitting as hard, if not harder than my 454 Big Block RDA.1 point

Sorry, by disposable, I meant that it without a lot of technical skill when it quits you throw it away. I was also talking about the iStick, not the Vision Spinner 2. I really don't have any experience with the spinner at all. I just know most people that have them love them.1 point

Got my Kayfun lite (Clone) today as the final part of a trade I did with Copper. I have a 1.5ohm Tiger coil build on it (Same as my KPT coils) Vapor is good, Flavor is good, but building it is kind of a PITA. Wicks very well with 10pg/90vg in it. I will say it is way better than the genesis style tanks. All my Genesis Tanks just sit in the stand any more, I don't think this one will be joining them anytime soon.1 point -

I couldnt agree more with this Chris. It is a disturbing trend to see some of the questions that are asked. I do not chime in because I have vaped for about a year and a half now and never even considered anything I have to build or rebuild because its not in my forte' of skills lol. It really should be an activity practiced by the top few % of vapers that have an honest and true understanding of it. Like I have said many times, the misuse of Mechs and batteries by noobs not ready for advanced PVs are in my opinion the single biggest threat to the future legality of vaping.1 point
